J.Maya - Thanatos (End of Us)
The wardrobe of the plane was empty when she opened. There was nothing inside except the bags she had packed. The duffle was unzipped and left opened. Gideon probably had gone through them to dress her - she blushed horrified at the thought of him changing her.
Rory pulled out a plain lilac hoodie to cover her arms, she pulled on some fluffy socks that reached her mid calf before running her hands through her hair. The curls have slowly returned, she marked notice herself in the mirror.
Her face was red from the crying and the lack of air thanks to Gideon choking and kissing the life out of her. Trembling hands touched her swollen lips, she was never going to let him kiss her again.
She combed her fingers through her hair, grabbed a ribbon from her bag and tied it in a half up do. Just as she was done soothing her it back, the plane dings and an announcement is made in Spanish.
Her Spanish wasn't great but she gathered that they had reached Bogotá and the plane was ready to land.
Rory stepped out of cabin through some thick velvet curtains and into the aisle accommodating 4 people on one side. She gaped at the luxurious interior, white seats big enough to fit two people fitted with it's own iPad and dark oak tables unfolding from the side. It was one nice private jet, making her wonder how rich he was.
She made eye contact with Gideon but quickly look away unable to hold his intense gaze. Instead, she looked down at her clothed feet pretending to find them oddly interesting, having no idea where to go. It helped, it distracted her from the 4 pairs of eyes on her.
Gideon was beside in her a flash, shielding her body from the rest of the men on the plane. He takes her arm, pulling her towards an an empty seat wide enough to fit two adults. He spins the seat so that she was facing making her startled. She didn't know plane seats could do that.
"I told you to get dress." He snapped, pulling a blanket from thin air and wrapped it securely around her body.
"I am!" She protested.
His jaw tightened, his mouth pressed firmly together before fastening the seatbelt around her. Gideon returned to his seat, eyes trained on her the entire landing.
Once the pilot gave the clear for them to depart the plane, his security - former ex navy officers pulled on their gear consisting of a bullet vest and ear an piece along with rifles storage in the above compartment. He smirked seeing the frightful look on Rory's face. She was clutching her chest, her eyes glued onto the weapons. They weren't going to hurt her, he was going to reassure her but enjoyed seeing how scared she was. So, he kept his mouth shut.
He was certain she knew he wasn't kidding about murdering her family if she didn't marry him.
"Let's go," he ordered, reaching out his hand for her. But she just sat there staring at him with a blank expression.

He moved to grabbed but she dodged his attempts,
Pressing her body against the walls of the plane. She shook her head when he came closer, a silent no. She wasn't going to go with him because if she left the plane now, she'd be married.
Rory didn't want to married him. She wanted to go home and right now this plane was the only thing that could take her back. There was no way she was going to get off this plane.
"Rory!" He growled in annoyance. "Not this again!" A few short strides and he was in front of her, his arm sliding underneath the her bottom lifting her up with ease as if she weighted nothing.
"Don't want to go!" She wailed, her fist hitting his back. "Let me go please. I won't say anything about this, I won't go to the police or anything. Just let me go!"
Her pleads go unheard as he departure his private jet. She was practically clinging to the doors at this point, trying to hold onto anything. At his wits end with her, his free palm slammed down on her ass and the sound of flesh against flesh echoed on the runway. That quieten her down and stopped her feeble attempts.
Rory hissed silently, she wasn't expecting him to spank her especially out in public. She bet her face was red as a tomato for the embarrassment yet Gideon strolled along like it was nothing. Where was his shame?
He settled her down onto the backseat of a SUV and she had to bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from wincing at the stinging on her ass. He had hit her hard and it was rocking through her body. When he tried to fasten her in, she tried to protest but he kept her pinned down by a glare.
One wrong move and he was going to hurt her more than he had just did. She gulped, turning a way.
Fight back! She cried at herself but her body won't move, it refused to listen to her brain especially after seeing these guns the men were carrying. She didn't want to die, she was too young to die. Instead, all she was sit obediently as the capital of Colombia passes by because, if he was serious about murdering her family, her life wasn't the only one in danger.
Rory wasn't cruel, she couldn't let them die. Besides, he had never mentioned her mother specifically - perhaps he didn't know she existed so, it meant her mother was safe. As long as she could keep things that way, she was going to find a way out and return to her.
~*~
The SUV pulled into a luxurious building several storey high. She squinted her eyes to see the name of the hotel and sucked in a surprised breath. Hotel de Torres. He owned hotels yet had his securities carried guns. The clues weren't adding up, she realised. There was no way a man as scary as him worked in hospitality.
Her father was broker, she knew that. Why would a hotel owner need a broker? For what selling rooms to holiday goers? Then his business isn't doing well perhaps he should reconsidered his business plans.

Gideon opened her door and lifted her out of the car, holding her against his body as if she was a baby.
"I can walk!" She objected, wiggling herself against his body. His hand moved to squeezed her ass and she winced painfully. The stinging hadn't gone and he had just made it worse.
Rory was sure her ass was bruised.
"You're not wearing shoes." He pointed out. "You're not walking on the ground without shoes."
They never entered the hotel through the front, thankfully. She didn't want anyone to see her in such a position - her legs wrapped around his waist, his arm underneath her butt and one hand circling around her waist keeping her too close to him. She could feel it all, his strong muscles flexing against her as he moved.
They take the elevator to the highest floor which required a fingerprint to get in. It was his private floor he had built to utilise when he was on business in Bogotá. He was usually here most times using the hotels meeting rooms as his base of operations. It was right in the centre of the city, perhaps the most modern and luxurious looking one. It was also the perfect place for their wedding to be held. The hotel had been cleared and the massive hall used for banquets had been redecorated as a wedding venue.
He entered his private floor and propped her carefully onto the porcelain tiles.
"We're just stay here until the wedding is over." He told her, undoing the tie around his neck and discarded onto the coffee table.
Rory stood there, fisting the hem of her hoodie while trying to slow down her heartbeat. She was every aware that his security had not followed them up and it was just the two of them alone. There was an ominous feeling to the room, it lacked the sense of comfort and of a home. It was blue and cold, as if it existed just to be used and forgotten about.
Although it was clean and immaculate, she doubted that anyone had used it recently.
She hated it, the room she hated it.
He pulled her into the lounge room and food was waiting for them on the low dark wood table. It was still fresh and steaming warm. Before he had taken her all she had to eat was a granola bar and an apple, her stomach ached at the sighting of food. So she eat with him without question, a small smile making it's away to his face.
Contentment wrapped around him as she ate happily.
From his pocket he dug out the engagement he had been keeping with him since he came to her father. A black velvet box. He slide it across the table towards her, smiling and gesturing for her to open. His smile faded quickly at the sight of her bluntly ignoring the box. She turned away pretending she didn't see it.
"Open the box." He ordered, calming himself to keep his cool.
Rory wasn't dumb, she knew what was in the box and she didn't want to accept it was happening. If she put that ring on her finger, she'd have let them win.
"I told you I wasn't going to marry you." She shook her head, biting into a piece of sliced apples. "Learn to take no as an answer Mr Torres."
He paused, watching with threatening glint in his eyes. "You were mine the moment I saw you that day." He stood, towering over her perched figure as he stalked towards her. "This your last fucking warning Rory." He leaned to her level, meeting her green eyes that moments ago looked so brave. "Marry me or you'll never know where I've placed your mother."
"What did you do to her?" She blinked, swallowing the knot in her throat. He didn't answer but move away, sauntering towards his desk near the massive glass windows. "Mr Torres!" She called after him. "What did you do to her? She's still at he hospital isn't she?"
Gideon hadn't harmed her mother, he simply moved her into a different facility - private one where she was receiving the best of care. She didn't have to know that until he trusted her. All she needed to know was that no harm will come to her mother as long as she did as she was told.
He didn't answered, instead opened his laptop and continued with his work. Two can play the game.
"Sir!" She begged, "Please tell me what've you done with her!"
He was very aware that she was smart. Eventually she'll understand what he wanted from her and in return, he'll give her something she wanted.
Rory dived for the home phone sitting on his desk and punched in the number for hospital. The call was going to be expensive but he can afford it, she was sure.
"I'm calling for Mandy Whitmore." She said frantically. "It's her daughter, Rory Whitmore. Please let me talk to her."
"The patient is no longer under our care." The receptionist politely told her.
"No, I didn't move her." She stuttered, "I was told she couldn't be discharged."
"She wasn't discharge." The reception frowned, "She was just moved. Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"Can you tell me where she is?"
"I'm sorry but I can't disclose that information." Came the reply. "The patient wished for her information to be kept confidential and has yet to appoint an appropriate person to access her information. Ms Whitmore is there anything else I can help you with?"
Gideon removed the phone from her clutches, ending the call. He spoke no words verbally. He simply looked at her.
Marry me and you'll have want you want.
