"How dare you come back after leaving for so long?" Fuck!

I wasn't prepared to meet them now or ever. It's not that I didn't like them no they were good Stella was like a second Mom to me and Damien was like a second Dad.

"Mom it's not what it seemed there is something I didn't tell you" Darius said.

"You didn't tell me what? Are you trying to cover for her? After all these years she left you and you are still trying to cover for her? She left you and a five year old I'm sorry four year old daughter alone and ran off to God knows where and you're trying to cover for her?" His mom asked.

"It's not like that. She has a reason for leaving and it's because of me. I did something really terrible Mom. I cheated on her thats why she left" Darius said and earned himself a good slap from Stella. Ouch.

"You did what? And you never had the guts to tell us about this? I am so sorry Aislinn I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions please forgive me" Stella said.

"It's okay" I said.

"I can't believe you didn't tell us this we're really sorry Aislinn" Damien said.

"No I'm okay really it's in the past and I try not to remember that birthday" I said and Darius earned himself another slap from his mother.

"You cheated on her on her birthday?" She asked.

"It's okay Stella I'm fine like I said it's in the past and I don't want to remember it" I said and she nodded.

"Miss Santiago your father is asking for you" Dr Williams said.

"How is he?" I asked.

"I've given him the Prussian blue and in a week time your father will be better and he might be able to get out of bed and walk. Thank you for noticing quickly or else he would have passed away soon" She said.

"It's my duty and thank you Dr Williams" I said and she nodded before heading out.

"Prussian blue? Was your father poisoned?" Darius asked.

"Yes he was" I said.

"Excuse me" I said walking upstairs.

"Dad I heard you want to see me" I said.

"Ah yes is it possible to stay the night my crew will be here later in the evening to install everything and I want you there" Dad said and I nodded.

"Dad you have some visitors" I said

"Who?" He asked.

"Stella and Damien" I said.

"Bring them in" he said and I nodded before getting out. I told Stella and Damien who went up immediately to see my father. I walked into the kitchen and they were making Dad's food.

"From now onwards no one except Aunt Helena and I are allowed to make my father's food" I said and they nodded.

"Miss what about the food we've made?" One of the maids asked.

"You can eat it" I said and she nodded. I went back to the living room and Alyvia had emailed me my schedule. Guess they knew something was wrong. I was on my laptop doing some work when someone started yelling.

"Briana get me some juice and you stupid maids should come for my luggage" Danica.

"Briana! Where the hell are you‽" Briana? Oh so she and her skank of a daughter were behind this. Now that makes a lot of sense.

"Where is Briana?" She asked one of the maids.

"Miss Santiago fired her" she answered coming with two suitcases and she walked towards the stairs.

"Leave the bag and go continue your work" I said and she nodded. I told the other maids the same thing and they left.

"Mariah? Why will Mariah fire Briana?" She asked.

"Not Miss Mariah ma'am. Miss Santiago Mr Santiago's daughter" Another maid said.

"Mariah is his daughter" She said. Is she dumb or something?

"No I'm talking about his real daughter. Miss Aislinn Santiago" the maid said.

"Aislinn?" Danica asked which made it seem like she was shocked. Of course she is.

"Where is she?" She asked the maid.

"In the living room ma'am" the maid answered and I heard heels click on the floor.

"Why the hell did you fire my maid?" She asked.

"Do you have no manners Danica? I thought since you are the wife of my father you would have learnt some manners by now" I said looking at my laptop screen.

"How dare you talk to me like that?" She asked.

"I'm sorry" I said and she smiled.

"But I don't have a sense of understanding gibberish" I completed.

"How dare you" she said shutting my laptop screen.

"Danica, acting like a spoilt little five year old brat won't get me to answer any of your silly questions so it's better act like an adult" I said and she frowned.

"Fine. I am so sorry Aislinn" she said through gritted teeth and I smiled at her.

"Good now why don't you ask your questions properly"I said and she glared at me.

"Sure. Why did you fire my maid?" She asked.

"You might probably know the answer since you were an accomplice" I said and her eyes widened. If you think Darius is here then he isn't he went upstairs to look after the girls.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"Don't try to act dumb with me. Let this be a warning to you Danica if you ever try something like this again that will be the last time you breath a free and you should thank me because I didn't snitch on you and your little daughter but try to pull a scheme like this again you and your daughter will be breathing the prison air" I said and she glared at me.

"Maids" she yelled and the came.

"Why are my bags here?" She asked.

"Miss Santiago asked us to leave them here" one answered and Danica turned to me.

"You can all resume" I said.

"Before you start your gibberish. You can carry those suitcases of yours to your room and no maid is going to help you. Try calling one and you will regret it and to your room not my father's" I said and she glared at me.

"Don't even think about called Butler Henry because he won't help" I added.

"Mom" Ah there she is.

"Mom can you believe what happened today? Kaiser gave the CEO position to Aislinn and now all our plans our ruined. She fucking fired all the board members" Mariah said.

"Go on enlighten her. She missed out on a lot" I said and Mariah turned to me.

"Now that you two are here there is something I need to enlighten you about" I said.

"I cut your budget to ten thousand dollars a month" I said.

"What?" They both yelled.

"Right it's a lot so three thousand dollars a month since you have everything provided in this house and FYI the money you stole from my father's company? I've gotten it back. Make sure to not leave your bank details lying around someone might take it and if you think you can get money from our company account or my dad's? No I opened a new bank account" I said and they glared at me.

"How dare you" Mariah said.

"Oh honey I am only saving my father's company since all you did was almost drive it to bankruptcy. Next time you make plans to destroy my father please enlighten me on it" I said getting back to my work.
