It has been a week since I met Jax again and Darius has been ignoring me since that day which i don't quiet get. Every time I speak to him he just nods or shakes his head at me or reply shortly and I don't even know if he sleeps in our room because every night I'm going to bed he is awake and typing on his laptop or making a call with someone and he just ignores me like I don't even exist. It actually hurt a bit and he is gradually remembering a few things because he remembers some times we spent together before I left and some other memories with everyone else.

I dropped Ezlynn and Alessia off at school and went straight to the office and Jax was already waiting for me since we were going to sign the contract to get everything started and I was very happy to work with someone I know and already trust. Jax is just an amazing friend and support and I'm just glad Dad picked him which I can't stop saying cause it's literally the truth.

"Ash are you really sure about this i mean I am your ex and I heard girls don't really trust their exes a lot" Jax said with a chuckle and I laughed and shook my head. We signed the contract and everyone left leaving just Jax and I in the office and I took my seat on my desk and he was seated on the chair opposite the desk.

"You have really changed Ash. How is Ezzy? and Your daughter Alessia was it?" He asked and I nodded.

"They are good and they seem like the best of friends now since they didn't start off well and they had a fight once but the best part is they are getting along pretty well so that is what is important now" I said and he smiled getting up from the seat and he stood between my legs with his palms on the table cornering me and I smiled at him.

"I really missed you Ash and I still don't get why you didn't tell me you are the daughter of the famous Kaiser Santiago" Jax said and I chuckled.

"What difference would it have made unless you were going to use me to get to my Dad though" I joked and we laughed and stared at each other and without warning he kissed me and I kissed back. Mmm his lips aren't as soft as Darius' and the kiss isn't as passionate as the ones I have had with Darius. Wait why am I thinking about him now and why am I even comparing Jax to Darius? I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close but still there was no passion so I just gave out a moan which was fake and anyone who knew mw so well will actually know and with that moan he moved to my neck and I opened my eyes and was shocked seeing who was standing in the doorway looking at me with nothing but hollow eyes.

"Darius" I said and pulled Jax away and Jax turned to look at him. Why do I feel like I have cheated on him? What am I even saying he cheated on me so it's nothing.

"You don't have to stop because of me I only came back to drop off your phone and some files you left on the dining table when you were having your breakfast" Darius said putting them down on the table and he turned to leave and I called him and he looked at me.

"I d-"

"You don't have to tell me anything because I'm cool with it i mean I did cheat on you before right? So it is nothing if you do the same to me" He said and my eyes widened. is that why he has been avoiding me? Because he remembers everything? I looked into his eyes for a sign of hurt or something but nothing. I know Darius is good at hiding his emotions but not this good right? Or he felt nothing?

He left without saying anything and I felt my heart break which i didn't understand and I felt like crying. Jax kept speaking but I didn't even listen to a word until he said he was leaving and he was going to see me later on and I nodded at him. Am I a bad person for what I did to him? Of course not, he himself remembers he cheated on me and that I did nothing wrong so why the heck do I feel guilty or something?

I walked to the window and looked down and saw him in the parking lot about to get in his car when he was stopped by Mariah and I frowned immediately when she started to touch his face and Darius did the unexpected by slapping it away and he held her wrist and he spoke to her but I couldn't hear anything from up hear and he pushed her making her fall and I smiled after seeing that and he got into his car and drove it and almost hit her with it and unfortunately she moved out of the way before he could run her over with his car which would have made me very happy. I felt a drop on my hand and I looked at it and saw it was tears from my eyes and I wiped it immediately and wiped my face as well but I just couldn't help myself and I broke down in tears and right then Amelie entered my office and once she saw me she came to hug and I explained everything to her and she frowned lightly.

"Is it the same guy Darius saw you having dinner with last week after you agreed to go on a date with him?" Ame asked and I looked at her.

"What are you talking about?" I asked and she sighed.

"Well last week you agreed to go on a date with him and you stood him up and he went out to Azalea restaurant to get himself and yourself dinner since he believed you were working out late but then he saw you having dinner with some guy instead" Ame explained and my eyes widened.

How could I have forgotten I had agreed on going on a date with Darius that night. That was the same night I went out with Jax. Is that why he was acting all cold?

"So that explains why he has been acting so cold towards me" I said and she nodded.

"But do you know Darius remembers he cheated on me?" I asked and she nodded at me.

"Yeah I told him. He always comes over when you are at work and he told me he was getting some nightmares about you leaving so I just had to tell him the truth that he cheated on you with Mariah and well he wasn't really shocked all he said was of course it will be her since she is just obsessed with him and he told me about how he slept with her back in high school to get her off his back but she was just attached and she kept on spreading some false rumors about them and all. I really think there is something behind them sleeping together and only Darius can explain it after he regains his memory and after you sort everything out with him we will definitely know everything and why he cheated on you" Ame said and I looked at her. Maybe there really is more to the two of them having an affair.

Darius. I guess there isn't a difference between the two of us after all. We are both cheaters.

"I guess you are right maybe there is more and I really have to find out about it. I don't think I can continue working today so I'm just going to go back home then and maybe refresh my mind and explain everything to Darius and I guess everyone was right after all "
