《Moondrop x Sundrop》Mysterious Figure in the dark 🌜

Sun pov:
Today I'm just so tired from playing with the children, it's fun, but can sometimes be exhausting. As I get ready to tuck in all the children for nap time, I walk up the stairs to my tower, and as I get closer to the railing to shut my door I notice a figure in the shadows moving inside one of the custodian closet. As I squint my eyes to try to see better, I suddenly see a pair or red eyes. "EEPPP!!!!" I yelp as I go close the door to my tower in fear
Moon pov:
Waiting for nap time is boring, all I do half the day is just spend time in my charging area, or just wondering around the daycare in the shadows. But I guess wondering in the shadows ain't bad, cuz I get to see a little pretty doll working~
It's fun seeing little sun playing with all the kids, dam he's even a kid himself sometimes! Sun ain't allowed to see me, witch it's not fair, aren't workers supposed to work together?? 😒 Anyways today I tried getting a closer look at pretty doll by hiding in one of the custodian closet, but I just ended up scaring him with my eyes when he spotted me from his tower.
Although it was worth it cuz from up there before he spotted me, he looked like a beautiful angel with the ligths behind his pretty face, and his smooth round curves that I could wrap my hands around and those eyes staring at me. This is the closest I've ever been to seeing little doll and I've noticed he doesn't have any pupils in his eyes, just blank, I wonder why. I was told we where built almost the same figure, although I'm bigger because I helps me take care of the children who try to escape the daycare when sun is not here. Sun is a bit smaller, that's why we where built three weeks apart. Sun is more upgarded than me, he's more flexible, and although sun is smaller he's fast enough to take care and entertain the children all day.

I get a hook that's attached to the ceiling so I can go around and watch all of the children form above, and sun gets this big toy ball that he uses mainly to move around and entertain the children. I just wished he would entertain me with his body~ wonder if he could do more positions since hes flexible? Yea I might try that tomorrow. But right now, Sun will probably report me to Mark, better try to make him stop before he calls,I hate getting in "trouble" it's annoying.
Sun pov:
*panting hard* "Wha-what in the bloody hell was that, I could've sworn those eyes where staring at me directly!!!" "I'm scared right now. What's if that was Moondrop?!?!" No! Sundrop, this is not the time to freak out, just remember what Mark told you! If you spot any sign of moondrop, report it to him! As I walk to my bed, there is a night stand where I have a call button so I can contact Mark whenever anything happens. As I'm about to press the button I hear a knocking on my door
"Doll?"

Waking Up
The story of Larin the Builder in the aftermath of Awakening This short story is the epilogue of Awakening, the first book of the Chronicles of Mother's Gate series. This epilogue is a great follow-up to the novel, a bonus story that adds extra layers between books without being necessary to the main storyline.Waking Up follows the story of Larin, who is alive but unconscious after her ordeal in the Nine Hells. She awakens in A'lara City a few days later and recuperates under the steadfast care of her repentant friend Jorn.As she reacclimates to her waking state, Larin struggles with her gruesome memories of the Hells and her decision to conceal them from Jorn. This story answers the question, Is Larin all right? with a resounding yes, and some storms on the horizon. It also raises the question, What happened to her down there? and includes an excerpt from the sister story Falling Down, about Larin's ordeal in the Nine Hells. Praise for Waking Up and Falling Down: Loved it. The difference between the two stories is great! The difference between Waking Up and Falling Down is astounding. So much light and love in the first story. You feel safe reading it. Healing. The second, so much darkness, pain and despair. The choice of vocabulary is awesome and makes an impact. And this set of short stories ties the two books together so well.-- Dana V. of Texas ★★★★★
