Almost two months later

“I cant believe our holiday is almost over” Rachel sighed as her and Finn made their way to the airport.

After finally deciding on the round the world trip and making all the plans Finn and Rachel spent a week packing up the apartment they had shared for their four years in university and put it all in storage until they came back to move to Boston.

Over the past two months they had experienced a holiday beyond their imaginations. It had started in Thailand where they had spent a week soaking and tanning themselves on the beach at Phuket, they stayed in a beautiful resort spending hours making love and taking the time to learn each others bodies all over again. For Rachel it felt like a complete new start.

Michael, Maria, Alex and Isabel has also joined them for the week and when Finn and Rachel weren’t spending time in their room they were seeing the sites with their friends and on the final night when the group joined up to have dinner Michael had gotten down on bended knee and asked Maria to marry him.

Maria had been absolutely stunned and for the first time in her relationship with Michael completely speechless but when she finally realised it wasn’t a joke she had accepted.

Finn had known that Michael was planning it, he’d gone ring shopping with him just before they had left but even he had been shocked that Michael had done it front of them all

After Thailand they split ways the others were returning to New York and Rachel and Finn's next stop was Australia. They spent two weeks there visiting the beautiful beaches and shopping in Sydney and Melbourne which Rachel loved, in the end they had so much stuff that Finn had to courier home a suitcase full of the stuff they didn’t want or didn’t necessarily need at that moment.

From Australia they flew to Europe where they spent a month backpacking and seeing amazing places like London, Paris and Amsterdam. They took in the beautiful tourist attractions, museums, and churches and eating and drinking the wonderful foods, wines, and coffee the countries had to offer. Being a chocolate and ice cream lover made a lot of the foods to good to refuse at times and Rachel swore that she had put on a few pounds even though Finn told her that was impossible.

Paris had been a particular favourite of Rachel's and Finn swore to her when they had to move on that he would bring her back one day. He secretly hoped that day would be the start of their honeymoon but he hadn’t told Rachel that, yet.

But now their holiday was almost over, their last stop was a mystery stop so Rachel had no idea where they were going, she also didn’t know that Finn had planned it.

He knew his plan might completely back fire of him but things with him and Rachel were better then he ever remembered them being. Rachel had slowly come to forgive him for which he was eternally grateful for and he wanted to finally stop the postponing and start the moving forward.

So with the ring securely packed Finn and Rachel boarded their flight to Hawaii.

It was an extremely long flight and Rachel enjoyed the sleep she had, when she woke up she felt revived and excited about finding out where they final destination was.

“Ladies and Gentleman we are preparing to land. Please fasten your seatbelt. I hope you have had an enjoyable flight and on behalf of myself and the crew thank you for flying with Virgin Airlines”

“Finn” Rachel whispered, leaning over to try and wake him up. She had no idea how long he had been asleep but he looked terribly uncomfortable.

“Huh” Finn sleepily opened his eyes and turned to the smiling Rachel.

“We’re landing” she told him reaching out and pushing his bangs off his forehead.

“Oh ok” he replied sitting up straighter and stretching as best as he could in the cramped space.

“I can’t wait to get off this plane” he mumbled.

“I know what you mean” Rachel smiled.

“So” Finn smiled “did they tell us where we were?” he asked her.

“No” she shook her head, “maybe we should just ask one of the stewardess’s” she suggested as one rushed by.

They felt the planes descent then and Finn reached out and took Rachel's hand, she didn’t like flying that much and landing was always the worse for her.

When the plane finally touched down and came to a stop Rachel let the breath she was holding out “Thank you” she told him.

“Welcome babe” he told her giving her a soft kiss.

Finn grabbed their carry on luggage and followed Rachel off the plane, if his calculations were correct it would be close to five o’clock by now. They walked down the stairs of the plane and Finn was busy looking around that he didn’t realise that Rachel had stopped in front of him and he almost ran into her.

“Rach, what…” he was about to ask her until she turned around looking at him with wide eyes.

“Hawaii?” she gasped.

Finn grinned at her before reaching up and scratching his ear, he figured he could tell her the truth right now or keep pretending he was as surprised as she was.

“Yeah” he whispered.

Rachel's smile was brilliant and before Finn knew it she was grabbing his hand and pulling him down the stairs until they were in front of the aloha girls “Aloha, welcome to the Hawaiian Islands” they said before leaning up and placing a lay of beautiful exotic flowers around their necks.

“Thank you” they both replied.

The resort Finn had booked them into was extremely fancy but he had decided that the splurge was worth it considering the significance of the holiday, of course Rachel didn’t know that yet.

“Oh my god this place is amazing” she said.

“Yeah it is” Finn agreed as he put down the bags he was carrying down and took his small girlfriend into his arms.

“Lets test out the shower then the bed” he suggested huskily against her ear.

“Hmm sounds great” Rachel agreed leaning up and kissing him softly. The kiss quickly got hungrier as their mouths and tongues made love to each other.

Finn started walking them backwards towards the bed without breaking away from her, when he felt the bed against the back of his thighs he slowly began falling down on it, taking Rachel with him until she was lying on top of him.

“Bed first?” she asked against his lips before her mouth moved down this throat her fingers working at getting his shirt over his head.

“Definitely” Finn agreed, he needed her so badly right now.

They removed each others clothing until they were both completely naked and Rachel lowered herself slowly down on Finn's cock.

“Really?” her eyes snapped up to his in surprise.

“Nope” he shook his head “so get dressed” he said.

He had organised for the kitchen to make him up a picnic basket with all of Rachel's favourite foods and with a blanket and cd player he was going to take her to the beach to watch the beautiful sunset.

Twenty minutes later dressed in a beautiful white slinky dress and sandals Rachel was ready. “Gorgeous” Finn breathed when he saw her.

“Thank you, you look very nice yourself” she replied, he had on a pair of denim three quarter shorts and a white shirt which had most of the buttons still undone.

“Come on” he said holding his hand out to her and leading her out the balcony doors and onto the beach in front of them.

“Where are we going?” she asked.

Finn didn’t answer her he just continued to lead her a small way up the beach which was a little more private until they came to the area he had set up.

“A picnic?” she grinned.

“Yep” Finn smiled. He sat down on the blanket before pulling her into his arms where they sat and enjoyed the beautiful early evening together. Eventually Finn pulled out the feast he had arranged for them and they began eating it.

“I can’t believe you went to so much trouble” Rachel said look at all the wonderful food they had just devoured including the strawberries and cream.

“You deserve it” he smiled at her.

The sun was beginning to set now so Finn hopped up and walked over to the CD player and turned it on before walking back over to Rachel and offering her his hand.

“Dance with me?” he asked.

“I’d love to” Rachel grinned

“I bought this for you four years ago and instead of begging you to be mine forever I made the biggest mistake of my life and let you go. I don’t ever want to be without you again, you are and always have been my soulmate. I wanna be with you Rachel..forever. All you have to do is say yes. Rachel berry....will you marry me.

Rachel slowly slid down on her knees until she was kneeling in front of Finn and reached her hands up to cup his face and using the pads of her fingers to wipe the tears that were falling down his face.

“Your already my forever” she whispered “I love you so much, do you realise that?” she asked him to which Finn quickly nodded.

Their lips joined together gently then and both Rachel and Finn could taste the salt of the others tears. “I can’t wait to start forever” she whispered.

“Is that a yes?” Finn asked her hopefully.

“It’s a hell yes” she grinned while nodding her head.

Quickly pulling the ring out of it’s box Finn slid the ring onto Rachel's finger and left a kiss on it before turning back to her with the biggest grin she had ever seen.

“You said something about fiancée being sexy right?” she grinned playfully.

Finn laughed “very sexy” he agreed before leaning in and taking her mouth “let me show you how sexy I think you are” he told her.
