A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Her hands clutched the blanket on the bed, and her eyes stared to his nails. Almost, she was tempted to point to the scratches on her back. Droplets of blood already decorated her floor and the blanket. The creature took a step towards her, but her eyes never left his nails. Blood coated the tips of them, and she didn't desire anymore blood to be on them.
Scooting across the bed, she sat on the other side. Her knees were close to her chest, and she was tempted to bolt out her room door, but her parents would spring into action if she did. They were suspicious enough already, though; she did wish to scream at the top of her lungs. She wanted some sort of immediate help, but she couldn't receive any.
Sliding her legs off the edge of the bed, she stood up and backed towards the bathroom. It would probably lead to a situation that was similar to the previous night, but she had nowhere else to go. The bars on her window proved to be more of a con than a pro.
His nails stopped, and he giggled. Steadily, she peered up at him. The sunglasses remained on his face, but she didn't need to view his eyes. All she required was his deathly grin. If they didn't have the deal in place, she most likely would've been dead. He was severely angered even though she knew that he could find out about Haley and her aunt through other means.
The creature's gaze, though, lowered and examined the blanket. A smirk tugged at his lips. "I like it, but I want more." He stared to her again. "Why don't you turn around for me? We can paint it some more." Lifting up his left hand, his nails clicked together. "Besides, those scratches on your back aren't deep enough."
Near to the freezer, she desired to grab something out of it and chuck it at him. Threatening his food supply wouldn't be the best solution, though. That would only provide him more of a reason to attack Haley and her aunt. Do you want a bite too? Her feet froze, but she didn't glance towards the freezer. She forced herself to snap out of it. Dean wasn't in the freezer ... Well, he wasn't alive.
A giggle escaped the creature. "Oh, what is it?" He stepped up onto the bed. Gradually, he walked across it. His increase in height only terrified her more. It reminded her of how easily he could pounce and end her life in a mere second, but she didn't answer him. The creature only grew amused. "Well if you're not going to tell me, let's move onto the next step. Turn around."

Lightly, she shook her head. Standing in the bathroom doorway, she flicked on the light. For a split second, the creature looked away. She used that to shut the door and lock it. Again, she was trapped in an even smaller space. Briefly, the doorknob wriggled. "(F/n), you know that I can unlock the door. Open it. I'll be nicer if you do."
"Since when have you ever been nice?" she questioned, wishing for some way to block the door.
"Well, I'm keeping you alive. You're the first one. That says something." The doorknob shook again. "Now, open up. You have until I reach five. If I have to unlock the door, I'll add a few more cuts to your back." His nails tapped against the door for emphasis.
She was about to say more, but she stopped when she heard him. "One, Two ..." Desperately, she didn't wish to the open the door. "Three ..." If she disobeyed, though, he would administer worse wounds. "Four ..." Hesitantly, she stepped forward. (F/n) took in a deep breath before she exhaled. One way or another, she would have to face him; she only wished that she had stalled him for longer, but she didn't want to meet his threat. "Five."
Unlocking the door, she opened it up only a crack before she distanced herself from it. A giggle reached her ears, and the door steadily opened up more. The creature stepped into the bathroom before he closed the door behind him and locked it. Her legs hit the bathtub, and she nearly fell backwards.
Catching herself in time, she looked forward again. The creature remained by the door, but his nails were dangerously close to the light switch. A smirk coated his lips before they started to part. He didn't speak, but he was clearly mouthing numbers. Hurriedly, she jumped into the bathtub and swung closed the shower curtains.
It was clearer than day that the bathtub would do her no good, but her action had been instinctual. There had been nowhere else for her to go. She hated how vulnerable she was, but all she could do was curl up in a ball and hope that he would leave her alone. That was only a foolish wish.
When the lights went out, she brought her legs closer to her chest. She stayed in the corner of the tub and heard his soft footfalls. They came closer and closer. Each one sounded like a grain of sand falling in her hourglass of life. Her heart pounded in her chest at the inevitable.

They stopped. She waited for the shower curtain to open, and her body shook. The curtains only moved a little bit, though. Presumably, his left hand entered the tub since she could hear his nails tapping against the porcelain. (F/n) couldn't feel his nails, and she wished that she knew where they were.
"Do you know why I'm so mad?" She didn't respond; she already knew the answer. He was merely playing with her. "It's not just because of the phone. I can always find out what I want by other methods. So, what do you think?" When she didn't reply again, he giggled. "Or, maybe, you're not thinking. You're too frightened, but you weren't thinking when you called Haley either."
Steadily, her head lifted from her knees, and she stared in the direction of where his voice was coming from. "Well, maybe, you were. You bought her aunt and her some time. Or rather, you bought your plan to kill me some time, but your action was too risky. You even quietly yelled at her." He tsked, and she imagined him shaking his head.
Eyes widening, she understood what he was getting at. She had been too focused on Haley, her aunt and the plan at the time, and she had completely disregarded the possible consequences. Her call to Haley demonstrated that something had gone wrong, and Haley might suspect that the creature was back in town. Matters would only become worse if she tried to contact (m/n) or the chief.
(F/n) could easily picture her mother bursting into her room at the call. Her mother would spot the blood and the turned off bathroom light. She would find her husband's broken phone. The creature would be exposed, and if her parents didn't accept the situation, they would be killed. Things would only continue down the slope of despair from there.
Beneficially, it seemed that Haley hadn't tried to call anyone yet. If she did, things most likely wouldn't take a favorable turn. Her hands rose to her head and combed through her (h/c) locks. The shower curtain moved, and it snapped her attention in that direction. Something was set down, and it was probably his sunglasses.
"So, you do realize the problem." He giggled some. "Really, you're such an irresponsible partner." Hate filled her eyes, and he only giggled more. Before she could say a word, he pressed his left index nail to her lips. "Shh. No need to speak. We already know the flaw in your grand display of bravery." She wanted to slap his finger away, but she couldn't deny the fact that her lips were quivering.
Nail trailing down her lips, the tip almost pierced her bottom lip. It pulled away, however, and landed on her right shoulder before it tapped that spot a few times. "Now, you know what to do." She pressed her back further into the porcelain, but she couldn't bring her knees closer. A giggle parted from him. His hand drew back before his right shot out.
Almost, she screamed, but his hand quickly covered her mouth before it went back to her wrist. He tugged her forward violently before she slid across the base of the tub. Her arms protected her face as she collided with the back of the tub. She tried to pick herself up, but the creature pressed her back down.
Roughly and swiftly, he removed her shirt before she could act. The coolness of the porcelain touched her skin, and an uncontrollable chill traveled over her body. She would've reached up and tried to retrieve her shirt, but his left hand remained over her back warningly. His nails were near to the scratches, and her whole body was tensed.
"Which one?" he asked himself quietly. His nails glided over her skin, and she shivered. The creature's right hand rested on the back of her head and forced it down. Her arms tried to find a more comfortable position, but they were confined in the small space too well. "Ah, I like that one."
Hands pressing into her more, he lowered himself. His breath tickled the back of her neck, and chills coursed through her. "Don't scream." His right hand slid down to her mouth. "You can even bite me if you want."
"I'm ..." Instantly, she wished to cry out. His hand pressed against her mouth, but she bit her bottom lip instead. One nail dug into the scratch, and he dragged it through her flesh some. Tears collected at the corners of her eyes, and she tasted blood when a similar action occurred again.
