《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Severest Connection

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Even though the creature covered his eyes briefly, it wasn't that bright outside. It was snowing, and ice formed on the driveway. A frown covered her lips when her smirk fell, but his soft footfalls made that disappear too. She glanced over her left shoulder and saw that the creature had his sunglasses back on. (F/n) tried to step to her left side, but his right hand pulled her back.
Amusement was written on his countenance, but she could tell that he was annoyed too. His right hand released her, and he gave her a warning glance to stay there. (F/n), however, had other plans to race for her room door and retrieve breakfast. While his hands reached up to close the curtains, she caught sight of someone out of the corners of her eyes.
Her entire head turned their way, and she froze. Haley was leaving her car. (F/n)'s heart beat rapidly, and she pushed herself off of the wall. The creature looked to her, wondering why she was coming towards him. His little helper didn't even glance to him. Instead, her fingers reached for the curtains.
Just as they touched the fabric, Haley peered up. (F/n)'s hands caught the fabric, but they weren't fast enough. Rather, they slipped down, but the creature caught her before she collided into the window. His hands were on her shoulders, and he now noted the problem. Haley's dark blue eyes widened, and her mouth was agape.
(F/n) felt the creature's nails against her shoulder, and she saw Haley's eyes go straight towards them. The younger teen took a step back and shook her head in disbelief. Cursing, (f/n) pushed the creature's hands off of her and darted.
He didn't stop her. That girl did have to be caught, and it was possible that she was Haley. A smirk stayed on his lips, however. The creature heard his partner open and close her room door. Her slippers were missing as were the keys to her parents' car.
Things had definitely taken a turn that he wasn't expecting, but he would use the situation to his advantage. The creature pulled up his hood and adjusted his sunglasses a bit. Before he left, however, he would need a few things. He had a feeling that he would have to enter hiding again. A sigh left him since he didn't wish to leave her home so soon, but there were opportunities present also.
As he prepared himself, (f/n) bolted through her home. Neither of her parents was inside, and the front door was unlocked. The pain in her back didn't even register as she ran; she was only concerned about getting to Haley in time. (F/n) threw open the entrance door and ignored completely the pain in her right hand from it. She shut the door after her and raced towards her car.

Still, she didn't spot her parents, but they were probably farther out in the cemetery. She diverted her attention back to the front of her, but she nearly slipped on the ice. (F/n) managed to catch herself; however, she heard an engine start up. Ahead of, Haley was beginning to back out. The younger teen eye's met hers, and (f/n) noted that she was crying. Haley shook her head again and turned the car quickly before she sped off.
"Sh*t!" (f/n) yelled. The two guards at the front of the funeral home already were bolting towards her. She managed to change her gaze into one of complete worry. They reached her and one of them was about to talk, but she caught him off. "I think that she saw something in the cemetery." (F/n) pointed in the direction straight from her window. "I think that I sighted something too. It might've been the creature." Fear dominated her gaze. "I think that ... I think that ... h-he's back."
To her relief, the guards bought it. They must've had their backs turned when Haley had seen the creature. "Understood. We'll ..."
"Just please hurry! My parents are out there I think!" she shouted, her hands running through her hair. "I'm going to drive after Haley and make sure that she's alright." She received a nod from both of them before she ran for her parents' car. (F/n) paid no more attention to the guards, and she threw open the driver's car door.
Slamming it shut, she shoved the key into the ignition. Her hands gripped the wheel, and she spun the car around before she tore off. It swerved some on the ice, but she regained control and made it onto the street. She spotted Haley in the distance and increased her speed. The ice made it difficult, but she managed to keep herself on the road. Haley had to be going over sixty, though, since she was at fifty and well above the thirty miles per hour speed limit.
The younger teen made a left turn and barely made it. Thankfully, there had been no other cars on the street, or she would've crashed into one of them. (F/n) slowed down some when she took the turn. Almost, she lost control of it again. Haley was far ahead. There was a right turn in the distance, and Haley only increased her speed. Still, there were no other cars even though it was around the lunch hour. Then again, they were on the edge of town.
This time, though, the street was too narrow. Haley's car went spinning. (F/n) saw a large quantity of snow puff up into the air, and it sounded like a tree would fall over. As she neared the crash, she noticed that a tree was wobbling back and forth. It almost snapped in half, but it stopped and remained at a bent angle.

Slowing down, (f/n) stopped the car at the turn and exited the driver's seat. Haley, though, threw open the passenger's door and fell out. The younger teen supported herself up on her hands, and her dark blues met (f/n)'s (e/c). Her eyes widened before she pushed herself to her feet and took off. "Haley, wait!" (f/n) called out.
Not listening, Haley raced across the ice and nearly fell down several times. (F/n) ran through the snow to the best of her ability, but they were traveling at about the same pace. Haley continued down the street, and (f/n) recalled that the younger teen's home was on the current street. If she wished to reach Haley, she had to make to the house before Haley locked the door.
"Haley!" she yelled again. The younger teen didn't even glance back to her. (F/n) tried to pick up her speed some, but the snow was getting in the way too much. "You're being reckless!" That time, Haley peered back. Madness swirled in her eyes, and she shook her head quickly before she stared ahead of her. Haley's short pause had given her some more time, though, and (f/n) would hopefully reach the home in time. "Come on, legs," she mumbled, forcing them to move faster.
It didn't help that she was only wearing slippers. Eventually, she chucked them off. Snow wrapped around her feet. Her entire body became even colder, and her attire didn't give her too much protection, but she was close to the house. Haley reached the front door and ripped out a key from her jacket. The younger teen jammed it into the lock and turned it.
At the steps, (f/n) gripped the railing hard so that she wouldn't slip and fall. Her feet barely held onto the icy steps, and Haley hurried inside. Before she could slam the door, however, (f/n) jumped forward and crashed against the door. Pain shot through her body, and she let out a cry of pain as her back severely protested.
Both Haley and she collapsed to the ground, but Haley recovered quicker. The younger teen backed away from the older in a sort of crab walk. She leaned against the couch and caught her breath. Her darks blues were wide with terror, bewilderment and betrayal. Steadily, (f/n) picked herself up and winced when she pressed on her right hand too much.
Meeting Haley's gaze, she caught her breath before she spoke. "Please let me explain. It wasn't what it looked like." Doubt filled Haley's gaze, and disgust gradually entered it too. (F/n) reached back and closed the door before she faced the younger again. "Please, believe me. The creature had only showed up this morning. He forced me to let him stay there, or he would've killed my parents!" Her voice grew more desperate. "I was only going to close the curtains because I didn't want this to happen!"
Hate began to coat her dark blues. "I'm not an idiot, (f/n)!" she shouted and pulled herself up steadily. "I saw what it was wearing. It has been with you all of this time!" Haley fully stood. Her fists were clenched. "You bought that hoodie for it, not your dad!"
"What?! He could've gotten that hoodie from anywhere, Haley," she tried to reassure as she got to her feet. She took a step forward, but Haley increased the distance between them more.
"No, it didn't! And, you were far too comfortable around it for it to have just showed up this morning. It rested its hands on your shoulders, (f/n), and you didn't even flinch! It caught you from falling!"
"I was scared about you finding out! I was more worried about my parents and your safety!"
"Just shut up! You're lying!" Haley brought her hands to her head and shook it more. "It all makes sense. I should've never trusted you. You had never brought up stopping the creature for the entire time that it was gone. Then out of nowhere, you wish to fight it when no one has heard about it returning. And, what happened in the coffee shop confirms that only more."
Taking a careful step forward, (f/n) tried to convince her otherwise, but Haley wouldn't let her get a word in. Her dark blues were now burning with loathing. "I bet that you even knew about Dean! You knew that he was dead! You probably even helped the creature! You sick f*ck, I hate you!"
