《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Hardiest Attempt

A/N: As usual, I recommend putting the video on loop.
No attention was paid to the two that had left and headed into the bedroom. The younger teen didn't care anymore. All she felt was pain all over her. Crimson covered her from head to toe. Drops fell from her face and onto her lap. Her right arm was free, though, since her hand was missing. She used her arm to keep blood from dripping into her eyes.
Haley imagined that she would die soon, but she refused just to sit around in her last moments. Escape was impossible, but she could make some effort. She wasn't going to cry and give up even on the verge of death.
Crimson expelled from her mouth, and her cut tongue only released more of the metallic tasting substance. Red traveled down her left arm and made it slick. She wriggled her left arm free of the restraint, and her body wished to release a cry from the ruined bones there. Haley refused the request, and she didn't bite on her damaged lip either.
Bending over, she tumbled completely to the ground, but she steadied herself on her legs. The sudden pressure applied to them caused her left leg to pump out more blood onto the wooden floor. A pool of red was rapidly forming around her.
Her slippery fingers could barely loosen the ropes, and she had to grip at them with all of her remaining energy. Pain soared through her all the more as her beyond damaged wrist protested against every movement that it made in the process. Both of her shoulder wounds leaked out more liquid onto the ropes, and she cursed mentally. If she didn't hurry, she would die in the chair. Already, she was extremely dizzy. The world felt like it was one of those spinning globes.
Continuing her efforts, she managed to untie the ropes. Her feet were free, and her arms pressed down on the armrests of the chair to stand, but her left leg didn't support her. The teen toppled to the ground, and she would've groaned if she hadn't coughed up more blood and spat it out.
Lifting her head up, dark spots appeared across her vision. She cursed loudly, but she refused to die. Her body couldn't rest yet. The teen turned herself around on her elbows before she pushed herself towards the door. Red decorated her every movement, and her motion was dying.
"N-n-n-n-n ..." She couldn't even say the simple word, but she chanted it in her head like that would repair her blood loss. Soft footfalls hit her ears, and she pushed herself all the harder. A couple of giggles followed. Something pressed into her back and held her in place. It felt like a foot, but her mind couldn't really pinpoint the distinct features of the thing.

"Where do you think you're going?" he questioned in his sing-song voice. A cough of blood was her response. "You should be dead already." He giggled. "For scum like you, this is ... impressive, but I'm going to have to end your little show." His foot pressed down more, and she expelled more of the crimson.
Reaching out her left arm, her fingers stretched towards the door. "That's what you want? Well, I do suppose that Dean is out there." Her head dropped, and her eyes closed, but she wasn't dead yet. Instead, tears streamed down her face. "You're already meat anyway. I'll take you to him." A bitter chuckle would've left her, but she was too weakened. The world was growing even darker.
A door opened, and light flooded in. It barely penetrated her closed her eyes and vanishing self. The creature lifted her before wind rushed by her. Cold enveloped around her and invaded her parted lips. Her fingers clutched at the snow, but the rest of her didn't move. She didn't even hear the footsteps behind her, but she had made it outside; however, that had been thanks to the creature.
Agony met her, and she cried into the darkness. Even her last moments had been ruined by him. Tears continued down her cheeks until she no longer registered them. Left fist loosening, her fingers fell limp. Blood dribbled out of her mouth, and her last breath escaped her. Her lover's name traveled on it, but his name mattered not to the only spectator.
"Now, you've even ruined the snow here." The creature sighed and stepped outside. His bare feet avoided the blood stained patch as he reached over and picked up her body. "And, you even made a bigger mess inside." He carried her over to the storage area, holding her as if she was the vilest thing on the planet.
His movement stopped, however, when his ears tuned into the sound of movement inside the cabin. A smirk touched his lips. Was his partner really going to try and escape? Giggling, he carried on. If she did attempt such a thing, it would be interesting. She knew not to attempt it, but if she denied his wish, he would treat her to a lovely love bite.
Turning his attention away from the cabin, he focused on the storage unit. Once he reached it, he started on his work on fitting the teen inside with her long ago deceased lover. He giggled to himself. In the end, she received the luxury of having a home with him. A dream of hers had probably just been accomplished. "I'm much too kind to such foul food."

Inside, (f/n) had stood up from the bed. She didn't pay attention to the sounds outside, or she tried not to anyway. Steadily, her feet carried her over to the supplies. The creature was distracted with Haley, but she wasn't foolish enough to assume that he hadn't heard her. Escape was possible but probably not for long. No, it would make more sense to bring help to the area and expose the creature's hiding spot. Then again, no one might come. Her capture freed the town from the creature.
Sighing heavily, she tried not to think about such a depressing thought. She would attempt a call anyway if she could find her old phone. Previously, she had thought not to search the supply bags until a realization had crossed her. The last time that she had investigated them, the creature had been wearing a different outfit than what he was wearing presently.
Perhaps, he had been forgetful enough to leave his phone in the hoodie's pocket, or he had placed it back inside after washing it. If he had washed the phone, it was most likely too damaged to be used. Hopefully, it was the other option.
Carefully, she seated herself on the ground. She reached over a little bit but not too much to strain her arm and shoulder and closed the bedroom door. That would block out some of the metallic smell in the place. Grabbing the bag with his clothes in it, she undid the zipper and removed the hoodie from the other day. Her hands instantly searched the pockets. To her displeasure, the phone wasn't inside.
Placing the clothing item back in the bag, she zipped the bag back up and set it back down in its original spot. There was the possibility that he had disposed of the phone too, and that would make more sense since it could be tracked. Even if the creature knew how to use a phone, he might not understand that his location could be found using it.
Then again, that was unlikely given how long he's been able to avoid detection. Still, it was a possibility, but why would it take so long for help to come to the cabin? Had she really been left to the mercy of the creature? What about her parents?
Hands on her knees, she clenched her fingers around her pants. What were her parents' thoughts on the recent events? Did they actually care that she was gone? They had to be concerned somewhat even if they had finally accepted that they would be safer without her around. Or, had the rest of the town convinced them to give up on her? Had they simply assumed her to be dead? It had been a week since she had been taken by the creature so that wouldn't be unlikely.
(F/n) desired to return home, though, and without the creature, but she knew that to be impossible. She couldn't kill him out in the wild and in her condition. Besides, there were no weapons around, and she doubted that he would let her strangle him to death. There was also the fact that she had no idea where she was or what direction to head in if she killed him and left the cabin.
Unfortunately, he was her most realistic ticket out of the place, yet she longed for her comfortable bed and the peace before the tunnels. She had given up her freedom to save Laura, yet her friend had died anyway, and the situation only had grown worse because the creature had become obsessed with her. Her head hung a little, and she gradually picked herself up to her feet.
Opening the bedroom door, she stepped into the main room. Her eyes didn't glance to the trail of blood. Rather, her gaze almost looked hollow. (F/n)'s thoughts only increased in negativity. She felt abandoned, yet she couldn't find anyone else to blame but herself and the creature; however, he hadn't left her alone. He was there for her in his own dark twisted way, and she absolutely hated that.
Leaving the cabin, she glanced left and right before she headed to her left. Her feet trudged through the snow until she rounded the corner and saw him ... and Haley. The creature's head lifted up and met her gaze. His lips parted a bit, and he looked shocked. She didn't care; she stepped towards him more. He stood up straighter and raised a brow before his lips formed a smirk.
