《Infectious Intent (M. Yandere x F. Reader)》The Swiftest Arrival

A/N: As usual, I would recommend putting the video on loop.
Waking up, (f/n) felt something cold pressed up against her bottom, but the chilliness wasn't nipping at the rest of her too much. Her eyes steadily blinked open. A dull, flickering light illuminated the space. Moths flew around it and landed nearby. Their little wings seemed to flap in rhythm with the flickers. Planks of beaten up wood covered the wall, and it appeared that termites had chewed into some of them.
Her eyes stared down, and her stomach turned at the tiled floor. It was cracked and had questionable stains on it. She was quite relieved to find the boots still on her feet. All of her attention, though, diverted towards her barren, painted legs. (F/n)'s orbs traveled up the length of her legs, and she was thankful that her underwear was still on. When she glanced to her chest, her bra was there too, but all of her body almost was painted. If both of them reached the cabin, the painting would be finished.
Both of her hands lifted up, but she couldn't rub her arms as a chill overtook her. Annoyance washed over her, but fear consumed it quickly. She couldn't walk into that cabin with Krista; she refused to be stripped any further. Already, she was much too vulnerable for her liking.
Her eyes averted to her ankles, however, and she smiled some. The bonds there were gone. It made sense since she would have to walk presumably quite a bit to arrive at the cabin. Footsteps outside of the bathroom caught her focus, though.
They stopped in front of the door, and a loud pounding greeted her ears. "You up, yet? If not, get up and use the restroom if you need to." (F/n) rolled her eyes and stood up from the toilet seat. She did have to use the bathroom, but once she was done, she imagined that Krista would burst into the space and grab her since the lock was broken.
Scanning over the filthy room, she didn't spot anything that could be used as a weapon, and the walls were too sturdy even with the termite damage. Her only option was to dart for the exit the moment that Krista opened the door. Chance of escape was unlikely given her recent attempts' failures, but she had to make this next one work.
Not only would Krista force her to be more vulnerable but also the woman would stop her search for a way to kill the creature too. That cabin was her last, present hope. She didn't know when she would receive another opportunity to put an end to him. It might never happen. Determined to succeed, she steeled herself and hoped that her next try would produce a positive result.

The toilet flushed. On cue, Krista threw open the door. (F/n) had to stand to the side so that the door wouldn't ram into her. "Hold open your hands." Krista lifted a cleaning wipe. Complying, (f/n) faced her palms towards the woman. As soon as the last stroke went over her hands, (f/n) balled her fists and performed an uppercut.
To her joy, she made contact. Her fists collided against Krista's chin. A grunt left the woman, but (f/n) wasn't done. She brought up her right foot and kicked the woman in the groin. The attack effectively pushed Krista out of the bathroom, and the woman slammed against the floor.
(F/n) darted past her and towards the door before she realized a major flaw in her plan. She had no idea where the cabin was. It was outside of the town but where exactly? Did she continue to head northwest? Her feet slowed down, but she heard movement behind her. Panic was beginning to creep into her veins. All of her body wished to jump up and down and scream.
Hurriedly, her head looked left, then right. Her eyes landed on a pair of keys on the counter. Not even questioning if they could be Krista's or not, she raced for them. Right fingers wrapping around them, they held onto them securely. (F/n) picked up running to her side.
Immediately, she stepped backwards. Krista slid across the flooring and smacked right into an empty sunglasses rack. The crash's noise erupted through the store, but (f/n) already was bolting out. There had to be something in the woman's car.
Jamming the key into the lock, she turned it and threw open the driver's side. She removed the key and closed the door before she locked everything. With haste, she searched the contents of the car for any form of map or clue that would give away the cabin's location. Her ears picked up the sound of the store's doors opening. Krista would be on her soon.
Sliding her hand under the steering wheel and moving it back more, her fingers met something odd. They stopped and gripped at whatever it was. She tugged at it, and a rip greeted her ears. (F/n) removed a piece of paper that had been taped under there. The teen flipped it over, and her heart beat with happiness. Krista had drawn out the cabin's location. Perfect.
Movement to her left caught her eyes. Hesitantly, she turned. In Krista's hands was a metal bat. Where had she found that in the store? The woman lifted it, and (f/n) shoved the keys in the ignition. As the bat swung towards the driver's window, (f/n) put the car in reverse and slammed on the gas.

Just barely, she dodged the onslaught of the metal. She hit the break and saw Krista standing in front of her. The woman was beyond pissed, but a smirk tugged at her lips. Both of them now knew that the general store was the closest location to the cabin, and (f/n) wouldn't be able to drive the car through the thick snow in the forest. Eventually, she would have to leave the vehicle.
Locking her eyes with Krista's, she prepared her right foot before she hit the gas. The car's tires screeched before the car zipped towards the woman. She jumped out of the way, and (f/n) spun the wheel to the left. Barely, the car made it out of the overhang safely. (F/n) went back onto the street outside and charged the car towards the snow.
It was incredibly reckless, but Krista wouldn't be able to use the vehicle either afterwards. (F/n) didn't notice the large rock, however. The car raced towards it before the automobile drove straight up it. Eyes widening, they watched as the car flew into the air.
Gripping the wheel hard, (f/n) waited for impact. The car just missed some trees before it dived back towards the snow. (F/n) closed her eyes and heard branches snap. Glass was scraped, and she wondered if she would survive the crash. Her eyes tightened, and a loud bang resonated throughout the area.
Groaning, she lifted herself up. As if her body hadn't ached enough before, it now hurt even worse. She tilted her head side to side and cracked her neck, and she released a soothed moan. (F/n) pushed the air bag out of the way and inspected her surroundings. White surrounded the front of the car. The teen could only see a little bit out of the back windows.
Removing the keys from the ignition, she turned off the car and went to place them in a pocket before she remembered her state of dress. A frown coated her lips, and several swear words left her lips. She crawled onto the backseat, though, and was grateful to find the blanket from before there. That would permit her some cover in the frigid weather.
After she wrapped it around her shoulders, she peeked out of both windows. She saw no one around the crash, and she heard no crunching snow nearby. No doubt, though, Krista would've heard and seen where the car had landed, or she would have a close estimate at least. There was the possibility that Krista simply was waiting nearby and would strike the moment that she left, but she couldn't stay in the car forever.
Inhaling before exhaling, she unlocked the doors. She gripped the handle of the right one and shoved against it. All of the snow retaliated against her push. The teen put more weight behind the next one, and the door cracked open a little. Snow broke through, but she kept up her action.
More snow pooled around her, but the door was fully open. She crawled her way out of the freezing substance. Her blanket was coated in the white flakes and was becoming rapidly soaked. All of her shivered, and her teeth chattered, but she had no choice but to press on.
Finally, she reached the surface. She managed to stand up, and she hugged the blanket to her. It didn't provide her too much warmth, but it was something. Her eyes, though, pinned themselves to her left. Krista was progressing towards her at a frightening pace. The bat swung in the woman's hand, and a sadistic smirk covered her lips.
Heartbeat increasing, (f/n) faced away from her and forced her legs to move faster. The snow was difficult to walk through, and her bruised, cold body desired to collapse into the snow. She shifted her thoughts to the cabin, however. Focus would be her key to reaching the cabin before Krista caught her.
Due to where the vehicle had landed, she needed to keep heading straight. If she did that, she should sight the cabin in ten minutes, though; could she evade Krista for that long? The woman significantly was in better shape than her. If the woman caught up with her, (f/n) didn't doubt that the woman would break her legs to prevent another escape from happening.
Something else, though, gave her pause. The footsteps behind her halted too. In front of them, something was racing through the snow. It was headed directly for them. (F/n)'s heart pounded in her ears. At that speed, she could only think of one thing: the creature. How had he found out where she was going? Had he found Nick or even Vincent? Behind her, she heard Krista's elated giggle. (F/n) didn't glance to the woman. Rather, she hurried to the best of her ability through the snow and towards some nearby trees to hide. He would be upon them in seconds, and she couldn't be caught by him.
