Before she could even speak, he knew her answer and cut her off. "Of course, you want the first option. If you didn't, I'd have to wonder what had happened in my absence." He giggled and backed away from her before he turned to face his father's remains. The creature leaned on the back of the chair, and he let out a small sigh. "Where should I start? You already understand what had occurred here, and Nick already has told you about my other kills, right?"
She relaxed only a little, but her eyes glanced around the room subtly to find something to kill him with. There were plenty of items, but he was far too aware. Her mind desired to let panic consume it, but she forced herself to remain somewhat calm; however, her eyes betrayed her. Another giggle hit her ears. "(F/n), you may want to hear everything before you try anything. I think that there are some details that might change your mind."
Her eyes snapped to him. His chin was in the palm of his left hand, and a smirk was plastered on his lips. She wanted to throw him into the fire. With his healing abilities, though, that might not be enough. "Fine." Reluctantly, she seated herself and made sure that the blanket covered her well. (F/n) broke her gaze with him to appear all the more compliant. "And, yes. Nick had told me about the other murders. And, you've now confirmed that Jiselle Qataap and her boyfriend had been your parents."
"My mother had such a lovely name. I only wish that I knew my father's name also." He released a sigh, and his nails clicked against the top of the chair. His pale orbs met her (e/c) ones. "But, I've learned to accept that I'll never know them. Besides, I have you now, and I know your name. That's quite a win."
"I still don't understand." He raised an eyebrow at her. "How had your grandfather been able to kill your father? Your species seems almost impossible for a human to kill."
"Come now." He giggled and shook his head. "You know that it isn't, though. You're attempting to kill me after all. There are ways. I'm sure that you've been waiting for me to be in a vulnerable enough position." His head indicated to the fireplace. "My grandfather had shown up at the right time. I don't know how, but he somehow had known to show up on my birthday. A baby makes a parent quite an easy target."

His eyes narrowed and stared at the dancing flames. "My grandfather had entered the home when my father had been saying his goodbyes to my mother and getting her ready for burial. I had been asleep at the time in my crib, which my grandfather had later disposed of for that cage. My grandfather had found me and had proceeded to threaten my father. My father had cut off his own head so that I would be spared from a similar fate.
"As unlikely as it seems, my grandfather had kept up his end of the bargain, but he had made my life a living h*ll until I had killed him. And, I've already told you the details about this lovely room." Venom dripped from his voice towards the end before he giggled in a high-pitched manner. "And that, my pink flower, is how a human had been able to kill one of my species."
A typical grin soon covered his lips. "Has that given you any ideas?" Despite his smile, she noted the threatening look in his eyes.
"I would never use a child as a means to kill you."
"Oh no, (f/n), of course you wouldn't. A regular child that is. I could care less about some random human kid. That wouldn't stop me in the slightest." He giggled at such a thought before his face fell. A frown met his lips, and she understood what he was getting at.
The teen couldn't help but gulp. Her hands held onto the blanket more, and it felt like her fingers would dig through the fabric. "If you find a solution ... If that happens ..." A shiver coated her, and she hoped that it never would, but, realistically, she couldn't fight against him head-on. That was why her present situation made things all the more difficult for her plan. Still, her body trembled at such a thing possibly happening in the future. She hoped that he never would find a solution. "I wouldn't threaten the life of my child. No blame would fall on my child from your actions."
At that, his face seemed to light up. A grin shot up on his face, and he giggled joyfully. "I'm glad to hear that, my partner. Just make sure that you hold yourself to that." He winked to her, but there was a clear warning in his eyes. She didn't even desire to think of the consequences if she broke her words. The creature relaxed a little. "Now, should I skip to the tunnels? You don't need to know about those other kills of mine in great detail."
Glad to be off the topic of children, she eased some. "First, what had happened here?" He gave her a puzzled look. "In Dunnuuna." She adjusted the blanket some. "Everyone had left after your grandfather's body was found. Had you immediately left this place, or had you stopped by to see the town first?"

"What you're really asking is whether I had talked, killed and/or ate anyone." He shook his head. "I hadn't. I had left right after I had killed my grandfather. I had only been nine at the time." Any playfulness left his expression, and he looked almost like he was remembering all of it at once. "I had panicked and had run for awhile until I had felt that I had been safe. Ten years later, I had found the tunnels."
"Where had you lived during that time?" She was interested in the conversation, but she also wanted to stall all the longer. He probably understood that too, but he was indulging her. It most likely was a sick game to him, but she wouldn't lower her guard and let him surprise strike her. Her eyes briefly glanced to the chains when his eyes averted away from her.
"After I had snatched a meal, I had retreated to a secluded area and had made a makeshift shelter for myself unless I had found an abandoned cabin or cave to live out of. Once I had been done with that meal, I had moved locations and picked out another meal and place to live. I had repeated that over and over until the tunnels had come along." He pushed himself off of the chair and walked towards the stairs where it was darker in the room. The creature leaned against the left wall there. "I had told you before. I had been on a tight diet like I am now if not tighter."
"And, why hadn't you been able to stick to that? Why had you killed all of those people like that? Why had you ..." An image of Laura popped in her head, and she had a hard time stomaching it.
"My first kills in the tunnels hadn't been like that. If you remember the news reports, the bodies had simply gone missing. I believe that the first two had been some teens on a Halloween dare or something like that. I had killed them swiftly and had eaten them like I had the ones prior. I had taken no pleasure in killing them. They merely had been food, not entertainment." His eyes pinned themselves on hers. No deceit was in his orbs. He was completely being serious and honest. "The next several had been the same, but things had taken an unexpected turn."
"That first team of investigators ..." She paused. They had been the first to head in to catch some evidence of what had been occurring in the tunnels and why people had kept vanishing within them. One of them had escaped but had been killed in the forest. Only blood had been found and that had lit the fire for everything else that had taken place over the years.
"Exactly." He snapped his right fingers for emphasis. "That had been my first time encountering a video camera. After I had killed all of them, I had studied their video camera and had taught myself how to use it. I had watched them running away from me, had heard their screams all over again and had seen the kills too. Before all of that, however, I had seen them laughing, smiling, etc. They had seemed to be having a blast. They had talked about making it all into a movie and getting rich. Those conversations had struck a chord in me further."
Leaning his head against the wall, he giggled for awhile. (F/n) moved closer to the chains. "For the first time, I had seen people happy about my existence, so I had decided to indulge the next individuals further." A sadistic gleam sparked in his eyes. "It wasn't until later that I fully had understood why they had been so happy. It hadn't been because of my existence itself but about the thrill of entering the tunnels and all of the goodies that came with escaping them."
Shrugging, he remarked casually, "I could've stopped with my ways when I had realized that, but I had found that I had enjoyed tormenting all of them too much. So, I had continued and continued." He giggled loudly. "And, that only had brought more to be my home for their own desires." Her hands were near the chains when he returned his eyes to her. She didn't touch the metal, though, and she couldn't tell if he actually noticed her change of position. "Then, you had come along, and here we are after all of our struggles."
"I wish that I hadn't." Her tone was harsh, but terror trickled in with it too. A giggle was her response, and he nodded his head in understanding before he stepped towards her.
(F/n) felt her heartbeat increase in speed, and she pressed herself back against the wall to maintain some distance between them. He crouched in front of her. "But, you had. There's no going back now, (f/n), and we have another matter to discuss." His eyes focused solely on hers, and she only had one shot. Without anymore hesitation, she gripped the chain and rammed herself into him.
