Kenny's POV
"Karen I'm home!"
I walk past my living room and make my way to her room.
I knock two times on the door.
It's our code. We had to get one after dad started coming home angry drunk. It has resulted in a few black eyes and deaths but otherwise everything's fine.
After Once means unsure. Two means netrual. Three means cautious. Four means dangerous. Lastly five means deadly.
I've only knocked 5 times a few times. It's very rare but my god if is scary.
Karen opens her door and jumps into a hug.
"Kenny! Welcome home!" She shouts with excitement.
"Hello to you too." I laugh.
I stand back up and grab the money from my pocket.
"Lets go get some food." I suggest.
Karen's eyes light up.
"Wait one second!" She darts to her room and returns with a small amount of money. She hands me it. Ten bucks.
"Karen where did you get this?" I ask in awe.
"I did some yard work for Mr.Tucker. He payed me Ten dollars for it."
I look at her. She truly is an amazing sister. She could have kept the money but no she handed it to me for food. I mold my hand into a fist.
I swear Karen I will do everything in power to make it up to you.
Even if I have to die for it.

I'm sorry the last few chapters have been shity. We are on part 10 and it should have a problem by now but unfortantly I've Been busy working on other books (*cough unbreakable a style fanfic*cough)and I've lost creativity. Is this book discontinued? HELL NAH. I am still working on this but updates are going to be a hot minute. Anyway as always.....
