《Snatched》Chapter 4

"Wow Iida! How are you so fast?" The blue haired boy has just rocketed down the track faster than you could comprehend.
"My quirk Engine" he explained "I have car-like engines in each of my calves, which give me running speed and kicking power."
"Damn Iida! You are basically Sonic with glasses and pointy eyebrows!"
"I'm sorry Y/n, but I'm afraid I don't know who you are referring to."
"That's even better," you grinned, knowing he would not approve of his fictional alter-ego "Imma just call you Sonic now."
You reached up to pat him on the head and booked it before he could disapprove of his nickname.
Iida froze on the spot due to your random act of affection but quickly brushed it off.
Who is Sonic?
***
You watched all of the races, grateful for a way to kind of figure out some quirks.
All right, so I know something about almost everyone's quirks now. I should be able to get by with this knowledge for now. To be safe, I'll stick with what I know, which means I won't have to tell the class about my quirk just yet.
"Hey Y/n! It's your turn to test your grip strength!"
"Thanks Denki."
***
You made it through the first tests without using your quirk, scoring just above average due to your training. You really weren't worried about scoring low compared to your other classmates knowing that you would just excel at one of the tests and do fine.
I guess I'll have to take the advice I gave to Izuku and only use my quirk once, I don't want to have to explain anything until I have to. I'd rather enjoy the time I have before they inevitably hate me.
"All right, next up is the ball throw!" Aizawa called to your class "All you have to do is throw the ball as far as you can, like Bakugo did at the beginning."

Okay now is my chance! Where is Shoto?
You spotted the dual haired boy standing at the back of your group of classmates and you made your way towards him.
"Hey Sho, do you mind standing at the front for me?"
"Why?" he responded coolly giving you a hard stare which was out of character for him when talking to you.
Something's wrong, Shoto usually doesn't mind when I ask him for help. I'll ask him about it later. You worried greatly about your friend, but brushed it off, deciding to leave your interrogation for a later date.
"Please Sho, you know why. It's just this once. I don't want them to know about my quirk yet. We both know how they will feel when they find out."
Casting your gaze to the ground you cringed at you own words. You were really enjoying being able to talk to people and goof around, something you wouldn't be able to do when your class finds out about your quirk.
"Fine" Shoto couldn't stand to see you upset, so he put his feelings to the side and agreed to help you.
***
You stepped into the throwing circle glancing behind you to make sure Shoto was where he said he would be. When you saw him you closed your eyes and breathed in slowly.
Let's do this
You focused on the people standing behind you blocking out any sound and waited until you could feel the gentle radiation of your classmates quirks. You reached out using your quirk, trying to find a certain boy's familiar icy-hot aura, and when you did you pulled.
It's go big or go home
Feeling the warm and tingly sensation of Shoto's quirk, you yanked as much of the power towards you as you could stopping just before 80%.

When you felt as though you had enough, your eyes flew open glowing bright blue.
"Gotcha"
You turned towards the outfield and chucked the ball as hard as you could.
Here comes the fun part
You threw your hands out and let your friend's power flow through your arms, being careful to only channel half of it, suddenly creating a giant pillar of ice which you directed towards the ball creating enough wind to pull trees from the ground. The ball got caught in the wind and flew out of sight.
Your entire class was silent until Pinky started cheering.
"That was so cool!"
The rest of your class soon joined in.
"That was awesome!"
"So manly!"
"So your quirk is like Todoroki's?
"How did you do that!"
You smiled at their excitement and walked towards Shoto. He looked drained and tired as if the life had been pulled out of him, but he hid it well. He was, after all, used to you using his quirk, and you were used to taking it.
You closed you eyes again letting go of your borrowed power trusting it would find it's way back to it's rightful owner. You felt the warm sensation of your friend's quirk vacate your body leaving behind a horribly empty feeling.
When you opened your eyes again they were back to normal and so was Shoto. You however were dead tired.
As you struggled to keep your eyes open you felt a hand on your waist leading you to the bench at the edge of the training field.
You heard the worried mutters of your classmates behind you, but you were too tired to assure them you were fine.
"Rest until this event is over." Shoto's voice was back to normal, no longer holding any malice.
"Thanks Sho, I really over did it huh"
*Beep*
The loud sound coming from the distance tracker sounded across the field.
"2000 meters!"
"Yeah you did" Shoto agreed with you
Your quirk:
Snatch
The user of Snatch is able to snatch a percentage of anybody's quirk who is within a certain range. They are able to take anywhere from 1% of a quirk (and be able to do almost nothing while their opponent still has 99%) to 100% of somebody's quirk (and leave their opponent defenseless.)
Drawbacks:
The user has the same drawbacks with any given quirk as well as drained stamina on both ends.
For example, you are able to use Uraraka's Zero Gravity quirk, but, just like she does, you will also get sick with over use.
Like what happened when you Snatched Todoroki's quirk, the person who's quirk is taken will feel incredibly drained until you return their quirk. On the contrary you won't feel any stamina effects other that those that come with the stolen quirk, until you return in. Once returned the user will have varying drained stamina depending on how much the quirk was used, and how much power was taken ie. 80% or 5%.
The last drawback of Snatch is that if the user encounters a quirk that they have never seen before, they wont know how to use it. Snatch does not give the user full knowledge and control of the quirk they take, it only lets them use it.
