After another day in the hospital, both Tenya and Shoto left. Tenya went to stay with his mother and Shoto was going to continue is internship with his father. You and Izuku had to stay longer because of your injuries.

You spent the entire time you were stuck in the hospital together talking and playing card games.

Izuku studied his cards "Do you have any fours?"

"Nope, go fish. Hey I was wondering something."

"What?"

"First of all, do you have any sixes?"

"Sorry, go fish."

You grabbed a card but it wasn't one you could pair "Damn, also this is just a hunch but do you like Ochaco?"

"Of course! She's an amazing friend, any sevens?"

"Yep here you go, no I mean... like like." you winked at him

He looked at you confused "Not really, she's really nice and all but I like someone else." he blushed and hid his face in his cards "Any aces?"

"Ohh Izu do you have a crush!? Also, go fish."

"Whatttt nooooo..."

You put down your cards and prepared to squeeze the truth out of him.

"C'mon you can tell me!"

"I-I um don't know wh-what your talking about."

"Is it Tsu? Wait no, is it Mina? Oh I've got it!"

"W-what?"

"Izuku... do you like Shoto?"

"What!? No! What gave you that idea?"

"Well, you're always talking about how strong he is and how you want to train with him and the way you look at him? Pure admiration right there."

"Ahhh Y/n stop I don't like Todoroki... I like you!"

"Haha very funny Izuku. Fine, keep your secrets but I'll find out eventually."

He looked up from his place hiding in his cards "But I wasn't joking..."

"Sure you weren't, and Shoto doesn't have daddy issues."

Izuku just stared at you in shock, he had strait up confessed his feelings and you didn't believe him... he would just have to prove he was telling the truth.

"Oh wait, what time is it?" you looked at the clock on the wall and then jumped up cringing slightly at the pain in your leg "I'm free!"

You had changed earlier so you just grabbed you bag.

"I'm going to finish the last day of my internship, you get out tomorrow right?"

Izuku nodded, still slightly in shock.

"I'll see you at school then!"

You ruffled his hair and dashed out the door leaving him, once again, a blushing mess.

You look the train back to the Nighteye Agency and were met by Mirio who attacked you with a hug.

"Y/n! Sir said you got injured by one of those Nomu's I was so worried!"

"Mirio... I can't... breathe."

"Oops sorry." he dropped you, finally letting you breathe again.

"It's nothing too bad, thanks for the concern though."

"Of course! I would have beaten all of them up myself if you had been seriously injured."

"Aww."

After you recovered from having the life squeezed out of you, he lead you up to Sir Nighteye's office where you received a long lecture about breaking rules and the trouble you caused.

After a half hour of being scolded, he finally said something nice.

"While your decisions were idiotic at best, I knew what you were going to do and I didn't stop you. This is because I believe if you had not stepped in, the Hero Killer would have taken another life. I also would like to commend you, in the sports festival you were fueled by anger, but in your recent battle you were able to keep yourself composed."

"Aha! Improvement!"

"Indeed, however..."

You had to listen to him bashing your technique and quirk manipulation for another fifteen minutes. It made you wish he didn't see the whole battle and every move you made.

In the end, he told you if you wanted to, they would be happy to have you do your work study at the Nighteye Agency when the time came.

You, of course, said yes.

The rest of the day you just helped out where you could. Your injuries weren't fully healed so you couldn't do much, but you did get to meet Sir Nighteye's other sidekick, Centipeder who seemed nice.

At the end of the day, you grabbed your stuff from your room and lugged it down to the lobby.

Bubble Girl was the first one to run up to you "Bye Y/n! You were so great to have around, while you were here. Putting aside the time you gave me a heart attack, you're my favorite intern ever!"

"Hey!" Mirio complained "I'll see you around school Y/n! I'm exited for you to come back so we can patrol together again."

"Of course, just remember I'm still ahead of you by five."

He chuckled and patted you on the head.

Finally, Sir Nighteye walked up to you and raised his had for you to shake "You were a pleasure to have at our Agency miss Y/n, you are welcome here anytime."

You pushed aside his hand and pulled him into a quick hug before running of to catch your train.

"Thanks guys! I'll be back soon!"

You were looking out the window watching the city pass by when your phone rang.

You didn't bother checking who it was and just answered it.

"Who's this?"

"Hello, this is Tenya Iida speaking."

"Tenya? You're calling me? Is this a dream?"

"No I'm quite certain you are awake."

You rolled your eyes even though he couldn't see you "I know Tenya, I was being sarcastic."

"Oh, I see... I am calling to apologize, it would be ideal to do this in person, but I can't wait any longer."

"You don't have to Tenya I understand-"

"No, my actions were unforgivable, I was unkind and inconsiderate and a terrible friend. I knew you were trying to help me but all I could think about was finding the Hero Killer and I knew you would talk me out of it."

"Tenya..."

"I brushed you off and ignored you, and yet you were there for me when I was at my lowest. You protected me at the cost of your well-being and I cannot explain in words how guilty I feel. I can not ask for your forgiveness because I do not deserve it, but I want you to know I am glad that at one point in my life, I could call you a friend."

"Tenya...I already forgave you."

"What?"

"I understand what you were going through and I don't hold you accountable for your actions. Greif and anger make people do terrible things. You don't need to apologize, you're my friend, that hasn't, and won't ever change."

You heard sniffling come from Tenya's side of the phone "I can't tell you how much that means to me Y/n, I truly don't deserve you. From now on I will do my best to make it up to you."

"Wait, you don't have to-"

Before you could tell him he didn't have to do anything, you went through a tunnel and your connection cut out.

"Holly crap! What the heck Bakugo!" Sero and Kirishima cackled

"It's ever better in person Kat! You look like a proper young man!"

Katsuki's hair was slicked down to his head instead of in his usual porcupine style, courtesy of Best Jeanist.

"Stop laughing! My hair has gotten used to this and I can't get it back the right way!" Katsuki barked

The three of you were leaned against each other to keep from falling down from laughing so hard.

"Did you three idiots not hear me!? I'll kill you all!"

"I'd like to see you try pretty boy!" Sero blurted out.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME!" Katsuki roared so loudly his hair sprung back into place.

"There it goes!"

You ducked behind Sero and Kirishima to avoid Katsuki's wrath and joined Iida Shoto and Izuku who were all huddled together at the back of the classroom.

"You know who really changed after their internships? Those four." Denki pointed to your group.

"Oh yeah the hero killer!" Sero said, he and Kirishima were being held by the backs of their shirts by Katsuki.

"Y/n told me it was just a low level thug but then Midoriya told me what actually happened."

"Sorry Kiri I didn't want you to worry."

"I for one, was very worried." Momo stated

The story on the news was that four high school students had run into the hero killer, but were saved by the pro hero Endeavor. You were fine with it, but the fact everyone was worshiping a pile of horse shit like Endeavor was getting annoying.

"Your lucky Endeavor showed up and saved you guys." Sato said

You smiled tightly "Yes, very lucky."

"So cool!" Hagakure squealed "Just what I'd expect from the number two hero!"

"Yeah that's right, he saved us." Shoto managed, it was hard for him as well, pretending to be saved by his father.

"Did you guys hear the news about the hero killer?" Oojiro asked "Everyone is saying that he was connected to the League of Villains. Can you imagine how frightening it would have been if that creep was there when they attacked the USJ?"

"Nothing would have been worse than the fucking Nomu." you didn't know what it was, but something about the Nomus made your skin crawl.

Denki shrugged "Sure they're scary but have you seen the video going around?"

He was talking about the video someone took of the Hero Killer's speech before he froze up, it kept being taken down but it was always re-uploaded.

"Stain's a pretty evil villain but like super tenacious, he's almost kind of cool don't you guys think?"

He kind of is, if you think about it.

"Kaminari!"Izuku scolded him, looking worriedly at Iida

"No don't worry you're fine." Iida assured him "It's true that he was quite tenacious, I understand how people could think he's cool, but instead of helping the world, he chose purging as a result of his beliefs. Y/n actually called him out on that, but he had nothing to say. No matter his motives, killing cannot be condoned."

You could see he wasn't like the other villains you had faced. Stain had morals and ideologies and that was commendable, but that didn't change the fact he was a murderer.

"To keep anyone else from suffering like me..." Iida karate chopped the air "I promise I will strive to be the perfect hero!"

He really did a full 180 there.

"It is time for class to commence! Everyone please take your seats!"

"Tenya I'm glad your back to normal but... our ears!"

Your first class of the day was hero basic training, so everyone changed into their hero costumes and met All Might at Ground Gama, one of the many UA training areas.

"I am here!" All Might announced "Hope you're ready to return to our lessons today, it's hero basic training! It feels like I haven't seen you in a while, welcome back! Today we'll be conducting a little race, take everything you've learned from your internships and apply it to this rescue training."

What I learned from my internship... Don't fight the Hero Killer and I should take down everyone quickly. Sounds about right.

"All Might Sir, if it's recuse training shouldn't we be at the USJ instead?" asked Iida

"Ah, but that facility specializes in disasters, as I said earlier, this is a race! So prepare, you're about to step into field Gama! Inside is an area full of factories which form an intricate labyrinth, so good luck finding your way around. You'll be competing in groups of five, each person starts in a different location on the outskirts of the city. I'll send out a distress signal and you do what you must to rescue me, whoever finds me first wins!"

Easy peasy.

All Might picked the groups and you were up first along with Sero, Izuku, Oojiro and Mina. You all took your places and waited for All Might to say go.

Whyyy, I'm in the group with the people in our class best suited for this! Even Izuku with his new jumping around thing won't have a problem!

"Hey Y/n! I'm going to beat you!" Mina shouted from where she was starting. She was the closest to you so you would probably end up using her quirk.

But I've got no idea how to use acid to make myself move quickly... wait.

Suddenly you had the revelation of a lifetime.

"AAAAANNND GO!" All Might instructed.

Izuku shot forward in a flash of green lightning, jumping through the city at top speed.

Everyone but you was so shocked they stopped moving, so when Izuku ended up falling you were already ahead.

"Wait... is that Y/n?" Sero exlaimed

Mina gasped "No way! That's not fair!"

You were using Mina's acid to glide across the top of the buildings. After all, over the past few weeks you had become a master at sliding around on ice and water so why not acid.

"And Y/n the master figure skater is back again!" you ducked under a pipe and jumped to the next building. Your movements were incredibly precise which made navigating the maze of a city easy as walking.

"And it's over! Thank you hero for saving me!" All Might handed you a sash which you wore with pride.

"When did you get so good at using my quirk?" Mina asked, shaking the acid of her fingers

"Oh, I'm just really good at skating without stakes."

"That's kind of weird but okay. Can you show me how please! I can kind of do it, but you've got it mastered!"

"All you need to do is get yourself if really odd situations and just cha cha real smooth out of there."

He giggled "Got it, awkward situations? Where's Mineta."

The rest of the training went by in a flash and you all headed back to the changing rooms.

"Y/n, I must say your ability to adapt to different situations and make quick decisions is quite impressive, I envy you."

"Thanks Momo but you're just as impressive."

"I have to disagree with you, at the sports festival I was too slow to even stay in the arena for more than thirty seconds."

"It was one time, just wait until final exams and you'll prove to yourself how great you are." Tsu added

"Wait guys! Be quiet for a second." you whispered "Listen to that."

Just faintly, you could hear Mineta from the other side of the wall.

"You know what we can see through that hole right? The girls locker room!"

"Don't you dare think about it!" Iida scolded him "Peeping on them like that would be criminal!"

"Then you'll have to throw me in solitary confinement cuz you can't stop me!"

You scowled "Momo can you make something for me real fast. Jiro you know what to do."

Mineta's annoying voice continued "I want to see Yaoyorozu's curves! Ahido's slender waist! Hagakure's floating underwear! Uraraka's exceptional body! Asui's boobs and Y/n's everything!"

Momo handed you the object you asked for "Thank you Momo, do it Jiro."

Jiro used her earphone to stab Mineta in the eye and you cleared your throat into the megaphone Momo made for you.

"THIS IS FOR MINETA YOU TINY DISCUSTING NASTY SMELLING GRAPE . WHY YOU TOOK ME OFF THE MOTHERFUCKING SCEDULE YOU TRIFILING DIRTY ASS PEVERY ASS TINY FUCKING BITCH. OMPALOOMPA BODY ASS BITCH, I'M COMING OVER THERE AND I'M GOING TO BEAT THE FUCK OUT OF YOU BITCH!"

You waited a moment, earning approving nods from the other girls and then heard a mix of laughing and crying from the other side of the wall.

From what you could tell, everyone was laughing their asses off while Mineta bawled on the ground.

You high-fived the girls.

"Got him."
