I walked around my house while answering 30's phone call.

"Good morning!"

"What's up baby, I miss you"

"I miss you too, how's everything going in Atlanta?"

"It ain't easy trust me, the kids straight though"

"Of course it isn't we have how many kids? Almost seven!"I chuckled.

"Shit ten"

"Yea you wish!"I said before we laughed.

"How everything going in Miami?"

"Everything's good baby, I've just been you know working on myself as well as my career. I know I'm not usually at home or around all of our kids when I am in Atlanta, but I miss y'all so fucking much!"

"We miss you more baby."

"Yea as soon as I return I'm not in the clubs 24/7, I'm with my family!"

"You better mean that shit too!"

"Of course I do, why wouldn't I?"

"You heard about Suhan going into real estate?"he asked me and I scrunched my face up.

"No I haven't actually"

"Yea she'll be joining you soon"

"How do you know this and I don't even know?"

"Shit it ain't like her nigga ain't my brother"

"Right right but no I didn't know about that"

"Yea some bout she's starting her own brokerage"

"Really!?"

"Mhm"

"I'm sorry baby let me call you back, this bitch is about to get it!"I said before hanging up and calling Suhan immediately.

The phone rang for a couple of seconds before she answered it.

"Oh wow my best friend of how many years finally decided to pick up the phone and call me?"she said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.

"Bitch you're becoming a broker!?"

"Cali I'm gonna hang up, try again bitch!"she said before hanging up.

I sat there for like five minutes wondering if I should call her back.

Once I finally swallowed my pride, I called her back.

"Good Morning Bitch, how are you?"Cali said while answering the phone.

"I- I'm doing good, how are you?"

"I'm good, working"

"How's Miami treating you?"

"Okay Suhan cut the bullshit, I didn't call you to chit chat about Miami or anything else. I called you about business!"

"Ew okay what's up?"

"What's this about you starting your own brokerage firm?"

"Uh yea I will be once I have both of my licenses, I'm actually taking the classes now. Why? What's the problem?"

"So you're going to start a brokerage firm in Atalanta?"

"Yes! What's something that's going to stop me that I need to know about?"

"No I just feel like you should've came to me about this first—"

"Why though!? I'm confused!"

"Suhan you know I have Let's Sell ATL. Why would you go behind my back and try to come up with your own brokerage firm!? That's going to cause more competition between your firm and mines. That's very fucking selfish of you!Why the fuck would you do that, I don't get it!? If you wanted, I could've just gotten you into LSA!"

"Wow! Cali I really can't believe that this shit is coming from you out of every fucking body! How the fuck am I going behind your back!? I'm trying to make money and provide for me and mine! You know I just went through a major divorce that sucked me dry out of all of my income! I never thought about it as me stealing competition from anybody, I didn't even know that could happen!"

"Well maybe you should stick to what the fuck you know, club hopping and running after a nigga. Stay away from shit you don't know anything about because it won't do you any good or make you any fucking money!"she spat before hanging up the phone and I gasped while looking at Lontrell.

"I told you to stay away from her ass a long time ago"he said while shaking his head.

"I'm so fucking lost right now. Was that even Cali? The Cali I know would be excited for me, not bashing me about my decision!"

"I knew her ass would turncoat one day"

"She'll regret it, I have to get ready so that I can go talk to Landon this morning."

"Y'all meeting up somewhere?"

"Yea somewhere in this house"

"Shit you acting like you gotta leave the house"

"I mean I am butt ass naked thanks to you"I said while going into the bathroom and turning on the shower water.

"That's all the time"he said and I chuckled before walking into the shower.

This morning I'm going to finally talk to Landon and get his insight about being on the show.

I don't care about what Cali is talking about because I have bigger things to fucking worry about.

I sat down at the table outside in our backyard while scrolling through my feed on Instagram.

The door opened after five minutes and I looked up seeing Landon.

"Good morning son!"I exclaimed while getting up to hug him.

"Good morning"he said while hugging me back.

"How are you this morning? Doesn't it look good and feel good out here?"I asked him as we both sat down.

"Yea, what you wanna talk about?"

"I want to talk about you first. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing good"

"Are you sure? Is there anything that I or your father needs to know? Anything upsetting you or bothering you?"

"Nah I'm good. How are you?"

"As long as my family is doing god, mama is good also"

"That's good, what happened to your little lion necklace?"

"Oh I forgot to put it on"

"Wow! Mrs. Leo forgot to put her necklace on!"

"I mean I usually wear it when I'm felling one hundred percent, right now I'm eighty-nine pushing ninety"

"Why aren't you a hundred percent?"

"There's a lot going on right now actually. I have to be strong though because I'm Mama lioness"

"Can I help with anything?"

"Yea I actually wanted to talk to you about, the whole being on tv thing. Would you want to be on tv if not why wouldn't you want to be?"

"I mean I'm not tripping about being on tv it's just that I'm not ready to be a reality star. Neither am I ready for the extra shit— I mean stuff that comes with being on tv"

"What extra stuff Landon?"

"Like the whole new fanbase, publicity, like all that stuff! It's already annoying enough because of who my parent's are!"

"I can't tell it's annoying when you're constantly on social media and are wanting to be in the nba. Oooh and not just the nba, you wanna be a rapper like your dad right?"

"I never wanted to do anything. I never asked to be born, I never asked you to be my legal guardian, I never asked dad to step up and become my only parent, I never asked anybody to send my biological mother to jail, I never asked to be a basketball player, neither did I ask her my dad to be my dad, or nun like that! The universe chose allat, not me so."he said before shrugging.

"Landon that's very selfish and very disrespectful of you to say those things! If it weren't for your dad you wouldn't be doing all of the things you want neither would you have all of these things you want! Shit if it weren't for me actually! I forced him to see about you, he didn't know shit about you! And you can't even help me out!? Meeee out of everybody!?"

"Mmcht. Can we talk about this on a later day, I got practice in like thirty minutes"he said while getting up and heading inside.

Somehow my emotions took over me and I sat out there crying for about ten minutes.

I kind of understand where Landon is coming from but I'm his mother, there's no way he shouldn't be able to just do this one thing for me!
