Today we both have taken leave from the office because today we have to go for the monthly check up.

And we are getting ready.

It's not a regular check-up...today it's special.. because today we are gonna get to know the gender of our child.

We haven't kept the gender reveal party or something because most of our friends are not in town and my pregnancy has made me hate many people together...it just gives me headache that's why I even stopped going to office and is working from home.

When I'll be 5 months pregnant, I will get the maternity leave so I will not have to do office work anymore yayyy!

What I am so happy about?. I think I am becoming lazy, office work is the only thing I do but I am still so happy to get rid of it..👏👏

Btw I am ready now and tae is waiting downstairs.

I walked downstairs and saw tae.

He smiled

Tae - " Let's go."

Y/n - " Can you see my baby bump in this outfit?"

I said trying to make it less obvious.

Tae - " No, I can't."

He said smilingly.

I know he can see a little bit, but he is lying, so that I don't whine over it......maybe not much from the front but from sideways you can clearly see

I just gave him a look and walked out.

As we reached the ultrasound room we both took a deep breath.

We were nervous.

Tae held my hand and said

Tae - " Y/n...you know what, I don't care if it's a boy or a girl....I just want it to be healthy."

He said quickly as if confessing something before a big step.

I chuckled because a few minutes ago in the car he was saying I wish it to be a girl...and now he is ok with anything...... but actually that's how parenthood is...the gender actually doesn't matter, to you ..it's just we show some preferences because we want to fulfill some fantasies.

We love the child regardless of the gender, atleast that's how it should be.

Tae - " Let's go."

I nodded

We entered in and greeted the doctor.

She asked me to lay down and I did so.

I was already nervous..and that cold gel on my belly made me tremble.

This is the worst part about pregnancy check up for me, this cold jel and that too in winters.

Tae held my hand supporting me like always.

I looked at him and he smiled making me smile too.

First of all she checked all the vitals of the baby including heart beat...I love listening to its heartbeat whenever we come for check up.

Doctor - " Excited?"

She said smilingly looking at us.

We both nodded immediately.

She chuckled and again focused at the screen

My heart beat was super fast right now....tae unknowingly squeezed my hand which showed that he is nervous too.

Doctor - " Congratulations...."

I held my breath anticipating her next words

Doctor -" It's a girl💗"

I released the breath and my smile immediately widened..I looked at y/n and she had the same expression but her eyes glistened.

I kissed her forehead.

Tae - " We are having a princess."

She nodded while pursing her lips.

Y/n - " That's what you really wanted."

I chuckled

After that doctor advised y/n to take healthy things because she is a little weak, which made me a little tensed.

After leaving the hospital we went to an healthy juice shop and then went back home.

I am soo excited....now we can finally shop for our baby and start decorating her room...we were waiting for it's gender reveal so that we could shop and decorate the room accordingly.

Tae's mind - " It's gonna be soo much fun.

I can't wait to see my baby girl in my arms.

5,6,7,8,9 five more months to go."

It was after dinner, I was in my room walking back and forth, because I am waiting for tae who is doing the dinner dishes because Aunt Han has already left.

Just then tae entered the room.

I quickly walked towards him.

Y/n - " Tae!

Tae - " Yes!"

He said smilingly.

Y/n - " Let's go out."

He furrowed his eyebrows.

Tae - " What?..it's 10pm...why you want to go out........let's sleep."

He said not liking my idea of going out at this time.

Y/n - " I want to eat vanilla choco chip ice cream."

He looked at me with 'are you crazy' look'.

I know that it is really crazy to ask for a specific flavour of ice cream at night that too in winters.

But I can't help it I am craving it Soo much...normally 1st trimester is the one during in which we have most of the cravings but I am having more wild cravings during my second trimester.

And on top of that I am craving things which tae likes the most... I don't know if it has any scientific proof that you can crave the father's likings during pregnancy or not but that's what is happening with me.

I think she is already daddy's girl.

But right now...Choco chip ice cream is actually liked by both of us.

Tae - " Right now?"

He said slightly widening his eyes.

I nodded cutely while smiling.

Tae - " But it is winters..you shouldn't be going outside during night time plus icecream.noo"

He said shaking his head

Y/n - " Pleasssss...I am really craving for it...and I want to go out and eat."

I whined like a baby which probably made him think 'is she the baby or is she carrying the baby.'

Tae - " But y/n-"

Y/n - " You said that I can go out with you if I want...now you are not even taking me outside....so do you want me to suffocate and die in this house."

I said dramatically moving my hands

Tae - " we can go tom-"

Y/n - " Forget it, princess....I don't think your dad cares about us....we just have to stay like this..... craving for vanilla choco chip ice cream for the whole night........I am sorry princess I cannot fulfill your wish."

I said dramatically caressing my baby bump and talking to the baby while frowning.

He sighed and looked at me for couple of seconds and said

Tae - " ok let's go....but first you need to wear some warm clothes."

My eyes lit up.

Y/n - " Ok."

I said excitedly

My dramatic act ended.

But in the name of 'some warm clothes'..he literally made me wear I think every winter wear I have in my closet.

He can be too much sometimes.

This is what I look like now.

Y/n - " can we go now?"

I was hardly able to speak through this muffler.

Tae - " Yeah ok......I think this would be enough."

He said scanning me from head to toe

Y/n's mind - "enough?.....it's more than more than enough .....am I going out to eat ice cream or going to the Siachin glacier?🙄"

We drove to the ice cream parlour and tae went to order the ice cream and asked me to sit in the car itself.

After few minutes he came back with my ice cream.

He sat inside.

Tae - " Here you go."

He said giving me my ice cream...and I quickly took it.

Y/n - " Where's yours?"

Tae - " I don't want to have."

Y/n - " Are you sure?"

He nodded.

I started eating my ice cream.

And tae was staring at me with a smile and hands in his jackets pocket.

Y/n's mind - " Wow this feels like heaven ."

Y/n - " Tae, it is amazing.. have a taste."

I said extending the ice cream.

Tae - " No, it's fine...you enjoy."

Y/n - " come on.... taste a little."

He smirked.

Tae - " If you insist..then I would love to taste."

He leaned forward and I extended the ice cream which he slightly pushed away leaning more forward and kissed me licking the ice cream on my lips.

I really can't express what this move of his did to me......I am sure I'll be completely red by now.

He moved back.

Tae - " Yesss, you are right...it's really amazing."

He said while licking his lips

Y/n - " That was disgusting!"

I said to avoid revealing my flustered state.

Tae - " Oh really?"

He said raising both of his eyebrows and with a mocking tone.

I just looked down and continued my ice cream while trying not to smile and he chuckled
