《Cursed eyes (Jujutsu Kaisen x Male reader)》10. Tokyo-Kyoto Sister School Exchange event pt.5

The four students watched as the curse was standing on the tiled awning in front of them.
Noritoshi: "Why is there a cursed spirit at Jujutsu High? Who does this veil belong to?"
Megumi: "Probably the curse user working with that cursed spirit."
Inumaki coughed but went unnoticed, except for (y/n) which slightly turned his head at him.
Noritoshi: "Do you know something?"
Megumi remembered some words given by Satoru some days ago while showing him a terrible drawing of them.
Satoru: "These are unregistered cursed special-grade cursed spirits. And it looks like they're working with a human, too."
Megumi: "I think it's the special-grade cursed spirit that attacked Gojo-sensei before. Its appearance matches the report. I can even tell, even from that guy's drawing."
Inumaki: "Tuna and Mayo."
(y/n): "Wut?."
Megumi: "You're right. Let's contact Gojo-sensei."
(y/n): "Eh?!"
Noritoshi: "You can understand what he's saying?"
Megumi: "That doesn't matter right now. Our opponent might use a domain. Maintain our distance and retreat to Gojo-sensei-"
Suddenly, the curse appeared right behind Noritoshi, he barely got out of the way, but Megumi's phone ended up being destroyed.
Inumaki:
The curse stopped any action, trying to fight against Inumaki's cursed speech. The others got far from it. Noritoshi brought out a bag with his own blood, using his cursed technique to release it.
Noritoshi:
the blood turned into a saw, sending it spinning at the curse's head, but not causing any damage.
Noritoshi: No damage?!
Suddenly, Megumi's Nue appeared above the curse, striking it with his thunder to then disappear, giving a chance for Megumi to attack with his jet-black blade, slicing its leg, but yet again, causing no damage other than making a slice on the curse's pants.
Megumi: Tch, it's really tough
Noritoshi: That sword... Where has he been hiding it?
Hanami: "nerdlihc hsiloof, ti potS" (Stop it, foolish children)
Even though they didn't understand what the curse said at first, but understood the meaning.
Megumi: What is this? I can't tell what it's saying by the sound, but I can understand its meaning? This feels creepy.
Hanami: "I merely wish to protect this planet, that's all."
Noritoshi: "It's a curse spouting nonsense! Don't listen!"
Megumi: "This is on a whole different level than lower-grade cursed spirits."
Hanami: "The forests, the oceans, and the sky all weep so vehemently that I can no longer stand it. It's impossible to coexist with humans any longer. They know there are some humans who are kind to the planet. But how much does their affection even help?"
(y/n): "That hurts, you know?"
Megumi: it's established its own language system!
Hanami: "All they desire is time."
Noritoshi: Get Inumaki out!
Hanami: "This planet can shine blue once more, given a bit of time..."
More roots appeared behind Hanami, as it extended his free arm.

Hanami: "Time without humans. Please die and become sages."
Megumi: "We must regroup with Gojo-Sensei!"
They began to run away, quickly being followed by Hanami, which tried to attack them with its roots.
Eventually, they reached a building of the temple and got inside, making their way to the upper floors, but Hanami caught up quicker.
Megumi: "Are you alright, Inumaki-senpai?"
Inumaki: "Salmon."
Noritoshi: "Here it comes!"
Inumaki:
Its attacks stopped instantly, giving time for Noritoshi to do one of his own.
Noritoshi:
Noritoshi compressed and condensed his blood to its limit, then fired a long-range beam of blood that managed to make a slash on Hanami's skin-like armor.
Megumi: He wounded it? So he wasn't serious when he fought me, then?
As the three of them were standing still, Noritoshi ran past them.
Noritoshi: "Hurry! He's just gonna heal right away!"
Then they followed. Inumaki coughed again, releasing Hanami from its frozen place.
Noritoshi: Inumaki will stop it, we'll attack, and then we'll get away from it. Then we repeat as we try to get outside this veil and rejoin the principal and the others. But there's no telling when the current balance will fall apart. His cursed speech isn't affecting it much anyway, and we're not getting a chance to contact the teachers. If it figures out how to deal with his cursed speech, we're finished. I wonder if (y/n)'s technique would affect him.
The roots were slowly catching up, the sound of the wood getting destroyed by them intensified.
Noritoshi: "Hurry!" We don't know what the cursed spirit's after. There's a chance the principal and the other sorcerers stationed at Jujutsu High haven't taken action. I'd like to quickly rejoin Todo, or at the very least, Miwa, but...
They climbed up a set of stairs and exited to the roof. Hanami broke the wall with his roots. Megumi's Nue appeared behind him.
Megumi: "Inumaki-senpai will stop it. Don't worry! just go!"
Nue flew straight to Hanami, it preparing to defend the attack.
Inumaki:
Blood splashed throughout the air. Nue had been impaled by Hanami's hand, and Inumaki's throat was destroyed. The latter kneeled as blood came out of his mouth and into the tiles.
Noritoshi: He's the one reaching his limit first?!
Suddenly Hanami appeared next to Noritoshi, delivering a heavy blow to his face. Sending him flying to Megumi, which managed to catch him but slid some centimeters back.
Megumi: "Are you alive, Kamo-san?"
But he got no answer
Megumi: He wasn't using powerful words, but it still destroyed his throat. It's just that much stronger!
He thought, referring to Inumaki. He began to bring his hands together, ready to use his domain expansion but was stopped by a hand on his shoulder.
(y/n): "Don't worry. I got this."
Megumi: "Are you sure?"
(y/n): "Yesh! Watch and learn."

Both (y/n) and Hanami slowly walked towards each other, getting ready for the incoming fight.
(y/n): "Are you ready for this?"
Hanami ran at him, throwing a lethal punch but he ducked under it and sent one of his usual palm strikes to the stomach, but this time, instead of letting go, (y/n) kept his hand on its stomach, lifting Hanami above him and throwing the curse off the roof. He followed right after.
(y/n):
He pointed his fingers behind him and shot. Using the boost it gave him to deliver a strong kick to Hanami, but also sending some tiles around. But Hanami had grabbed his foot just as it was about to hit and sent him to a nearby wall.
He slowly stood up as he spat a small piece of concrete.
(y/n): "Im pretty sure I heard something crack on my back..."
Three wooden balls appeared in front of (y/n), on a horizontal line. Propelling two sharp branches each. (y/n) barely dodging, but some making slight cuts on his clothing. Then they disintegrated.
(y/n) used yet again his cursed energy to propel himself towards Hanami at great speeds, thrusting forwards his palm and hitting it on the abdomen.
(y/n):
While keeping his palm on Hanami's abdomen, he released an immense amount of cursed energy, in a sort of explosion. Sending the curse flying outside the temple with parts of the torso destroyed, along with the white cloth that held its left arm. The bandage on his hand also got destroyed.
(y/n): "Hey! You guys stay here, ok? I'll take care of Hanami."
Megumi: How strong is that guy... I would've been screwed If I had to fight both Kamo-san and him. What's his name? "Are you sure you'll be able to deal with it?"
(y/n): "Of course!"
Megumi: Wait a moment... how does he-
(y/n): "By the way! Your classmates are still inside, they should wake up at any moment, stay with them. And don't get in the fight... I wouldn't want to carry you too. I only got two slots for people"
He waved at them and left to where Hanami was sent.
Megumi: he's gonna get himself killed
Inumaki and Megumi watched as he left, but the latter had no intention of following the order to not interrupt from (y/n).
Megumi: "I'll go, you stay here, Inumaki-senpai."
Inumaki: "Salmon."
Momo then appeared, taking Noritoshi and Inumaki. Megumi got off the roof and ran in the direction (y/n) went in, seeing him at the distance like small dots, barely managing to differentiate between Hanami and (y/n).
(y/n) soon got into his fight stance, Neko Ashi Dachi, and Hanami also prepared for the incoming battle.
Hanami decided to not waste much time, rushing at (y/n) while some roots emerged, flying straight to him. Megumi kept running at him, slightly worried in contrast to (y/n), which seem tranquil.
With a palm strike, (y/n) redirected the roots away from him, while as for Hanami, he delivered a devastating blow to its head, breaking both of the branches on it and sending it back some meters.
(y/n): "I know you can do better than this."
Hanami: Those are... some powerful attacks.
The branches were quick to reappear, Hanami staring at its left arm and then at (y/n).
Hanami moved its arms on the air and smashed them on the ground, various enormous roots appeared and were launched at (y/n) at immense speeds. The latter used 'bang' to obliterate some, but the amount was overwhelming, making him jump from one to another while approaching Hanami, while it shot small rectangle pieces of wood at him, but were easily dodged.
When in front of Hanami, (y/n) brought his arms forward and clapped his hands. Sending a massive wave of cursed energy towards Hanami. Sending the curse some steps back. (y/n) used this opportunity to run at it, grabbing it by the face and jumping off the roots, which were now quite far from the ground.
Mid-air, (y/n) yet again made a small explosion with his cursed energy, sending Hanami plummeting to the ground. Although he had forgotten one VERY important thing, he was also falling, and with the explosion, he was sent a decent amount of distance far away, managing to catch a glimpse of Todo and Itadori heading to Hanami.
Using his cursed energy he managed to propel himself towards Hanami, his landing created a huge cloud of smoke. Sending some water and rocks flying.
Tokyo and Kyoto students gathered in the surroundings, the commotion had alerted them and came as soon as possible.
Miwa: "Is that...?"
Mai: "What is a special grade doing here... (y/n)'s gonna get himself killed!"
She got out of the bushes and shouted at (y/n).
Mai: "Get out of there, idiot!"
(y/n): "Mai? It's alright!"
Mai: "It is not!"
Roots appeared and launched at (y/n), which he barely managed to dodge, his clothes getting even more cuts all over them.
(y/n): "That's cheating!"
He leaped at Hanami, charging his extremities with cursed energy for more devastating blows. They got into a fistfight with occasional root attacks from Hanami, which (y/n) had to dodge while receiving punches from Hanami.
Hanami: Is this...? The drive of a fight?
Even more roots and wooden balls appeared, (y/n) dodged them with twists and turns.
Itadori: "Shouldn't we help?"
Todo: "No. A sorcerer must know his fights, brother."
Hanami: Mahito, right now... I'm enjoying a fight!
A big root appeared and went straight to (y/n), he jumped back, making it crash on the ground while creating some distance between him and Hanami.
Suddenly, a flower circle surrounded (y/n), distracting him and taking his will to fight. Letting his guard down and staring at the flowers. While a wooden ball appeared behind him.
Mai: "Watch out!"
Before he could react, a sharp branch pierced his right shoulder. the tip of the branch poked out of the other side. And soon, many more of the wooden balls appeared around (y/n).

Shade and Flow
In the Wastelands, if you were cursed by Shade, you were destined to be shunned, driven away, even killed on sight; you were a creature of darkness, of shadow, cold-blooded and unwanted. But, if you were blessed by Flow, you were the best humankind could offer, a role-model for any sapients. Loke and Nova were born by the same parents, yet even though they embodied the two faces of the medal, they lived in the same dreadful circumstances, but what would happen if one day the greatest beings of the world decided that the siblings would become their Champions? A Warning: There is an Anti-hero lead for a reason, and there should also be a Y.A. tag, but RR doesn't have it; therefore here it is. So, there's going to be blood, there might be carnage, but there will also be wholesomeness, romance, and affection. But most importantly, there will be Action. About the LitRPG: This novel is a slow-burn, with a lot of character development, yet the LitRPG element starts in Chapter 3 and becomes more prominent as the protagonist evolves his Skill. Further elements appear in Chapter 38. I'm not a native speaker: If you see any typos, please point them out, and I shall fix them as soon as possible. Thank you! Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
