I woke up the next morning, put on shorts and a sports bra, threw my hair in to a pony, threw my sneakers on, and walked down to the kitchen.
Hank and my dad were in there.
"Good morning baby." My dad smiled at me.
"Morning kiddo." Hank smiled.
"Good morning." I nodded.
"What're you doing up so early? You guys aren't leaving for another 2 hours." My dad gave me a look.
"I wanted to get a work out in." I nodded and made my pre-work out.
"Oh, ok honey." My dad turned back around.
I pursed my lips.
"What Ol?" Hank gave me a look.
My dad turned back around.
"Will one of you come spot me today? Jake's not home, and I don't feel like Mason or Connor killing me." I gave them a straight smile.
"Alright." My dad nodded. "Come on." He and Hank stood up and walked out with me.
"What're you at?" Hank walked to the weight rack.
"Uh, Cam bumped me up 2lbs a week and I've been sticking with it. So like, 110." I pursed my lips and layed down on the bench."
He put the plates on the bar and my dad stood above me. "How many?"
"2 of 15." I put my hands up on the bar.
He nodded. "Lift." He pulled the bar up and I started lifting.
I did my second set as well.
"Olivia are you alright?" Hank asked sitting down in a lawn chair next to me.
"Yeah, why?" I shook my head and sat up.
"Baby, you just lifted more than your body weight really fast. That's normally a sign of being angry, or frustrated. What's up?" My dad crossed his arms.
I honestly did want to talk to someone, and I knew I could trust them not to say anything about this. Especially with Connor.
"You guys know how you're the cool parents right?" I looked at both of them.
"Oh boy, here we go." Hank shook his head.
"Lets say, my friend, had sex with someone she shouldn't have." I sighed
"Your friend?" My dad gave me a look.
I nodded. "My friend."
"Ok, so, why shouldn't your friend have had sex with the guy?" Hank leaned forward and put his elbows on his knees.
"Because, the guy my friend slept with, is her brothers bestfriend." Pursed my lips.

"Olivia." My dad shook his head.
"My friend!" I yelled.
"Ok." He nodded.
"Does her brothers bestfriend happen to be like, 5ft tall?" Hank crossed his arms.
"No." I shook my head.
"Does her brothers bestfriend happen to have a girlfriend?" My dad crossed his arms.
I shook my head no.
"Oh my god." Hank closed his eyes.
My dad took a deep breath. "Does his bestfriend also happen to be their neighbor?" My dad raised his eyebrows.
I scrunched my face and nodded.
"Oh my god." He shook his head.
"Olivia." Hank sighed.
"My friend!" I nodded.
My dad pursed his lips. "Ok, so, other than that, what's the problem?"
"Well, my friend and this guy agreed to forget it ever happend, but that's all my friend has been able to think about." I sighed.
"I am so indredibly uncomfortable." My dad shook his head.
"Does, your friend, like the guy?" Hank tilted his head.
"She doesn't really know. And she knows her brother would be pissed." I pursed my lips.
"Well, my advice to your friend baby, would be to fuck her brothers opinion and do what makes her happy." My dad nodded.
"And not saying I am, but, say I was in this situation, what would your advice to me be?" I scrunched my face again.
"My advice to you, would be to not think about it anymore, not to say anything, and to completely shut it down, before you both end up dead, if you were in this situation." He gave me a straight smile.
I laid back on the weight bench. "Damn it." I shook my head.
"Olivia how did this even happen?" hank shook his head. "You two can barely stand eachother."
"I don't know. It just, happened." I put my hands over my face.
"When did it even happen?" My dad asked.
"Last Saturday morning. He was bored, we argued, and out of no where, he kissed me. And it just happened." I sighed.
"Well, I can safely say he's done worse. And that you can't really get any better than you sweetie." Hank stood up and nodded.
"It was so so stupid. What the hell was I thinking." I sat up and shook my head.
"I really dont know sweetie." My dad pat my back.
"You guys can't tell anyone. Not even the moms." I looked at both of them.

"Does anyone else know?" Hank started rubbing my shoulders.
"Oaken." I shrugged.
"How in the hell does Oaken know?" My dad shook his head.
"He's a smart kid." I pursed my lips.
"Whose a smart kid?" We heard come from the house.
Mason and Connor were walking out.
"Not you." Hank laughed. "Morning buddy. Morning Connor." He nodded.
"Morning Pop. Daddy Jay." Mason smiled.
"Morning Kiddo." My dad nodded at Connor. He crossed his arms. "Mason."
"What'd I do?" Mason shook his head.
Hank let out a choked back laugh.
I threw my elbow back.
He grabbed his stomach and bent over. "Damn it Olivia. Come on." He shook his head.
"She still mad about Saunders?" Connor rolled his eyes.
"Yup." I nodded.
Mason gave me a look.
I scrunched my face.
He looked at my dad, then back down at me. His eyes got wide and he looked back up to my dad.
My dad nodded.
"I'm gonna go see if Oakens ready!" He ran in to the house.
"He has been so weird lately." Connor shook his head. "Go shower, we have to get going soon."
"We're not leaving til 8 Connor." I shook my head.
"No, we're leaving town at 8. We have to go get Abby and the guys first. So go." He pointed. "Dad will you help me strap the bags down to the roof?"
"I suppose so Connor. Hank?"
"Let me find my damn liver first." He shook his head.
"Go Olivia." Connor rolled his eyes.
I sighed and walked inside.
I jumped in the shower, and a few minutes later I heard the door open.
"I'm in the shower!" I yelled.
"Oh I'm fully aware!" It was Mason.
"Get out."
"You told our dads Olivia!" He whispered.
"Not technically. But they know."
"Oh my god I'm dead."
"They're not going to say anything, now get out!"
"Not until you actually talk to me Olivia! You've been avoiding me all week."
"Mason, get out!"
"Only if you promise we can go back to being normal!"
"Alright, go!"
"Promise Ol!"
"I promise. I'll go back to calling you a fuck boy, you can call me shit brick, it never happend, get out!"
"Not what I meant."
"Do you enjoy bugging me while I shower? Or are you trying to see me naked!"
"Shut up!" He yelled.
"Make me!"
He let out a harsh sigh. "Do not say that anymore."
"Then get out!"
"Not until you look me in the face and tell me we're ok!"
"Oh my god give me my towel."
I saw my towel peak through my curtain.
I turned the water off, wrapped myself up, and got out.
"We're fine, alright."
"Are we really?"
"Yes Mason, I'll go back to being Olivia, and you can go back to screwing every person that walks infront of you." I walked out of my room and in to my closet. I locked my door.
"Olivia, come on. That doesn't sound like we're ok."
I just didn't respond. I threw on a pair of high waisted leggings, a black crop tank top, and a goldish-tan shall sweater, and I walked out.
He was sitting on my bed. "Really." I shook my head.
"Talk to me." He sighed.
"Mason, this is us, you call me name and put me in submission holds, I call you names and tell you you're a whore. We're fine. I'm fine." I walked over to my vanity bent over, and put my hair in a bun.
"Are you staring at my ass right now?" I shook my head.
"Nope."
"Just forget it happened, remember?" I stood up.
"Forget what happend." He gave me a straight smile.
"Exactly." I nodded and walked out.
He followed me down to the kitchen.
"Didn't I tell you to keep your friend out of my bathroom?" I looked at Connor.
"Did you talk to him?" He crossed his arms.
"Yes Connor, I'm a bitch, he's a fuck boy, we're fine. Again, he's not my first choice for conversation, can we go." I rolled my eyes.
"Bitch." Mason crossed his arms.
"Exactly. Are we ready or no?"
"Oakens in the car." Connor nodded.
"I'm upfront." Mason raised his hand.
"No, you're not." I shook my head.
"Ol, your back seats arent-"
I cut him off, "made for guys who are 6'5, whatever." I shook my head again.
We walked out, went and got Ben first, then Josh and Ryan, and then Abby.
We stopped for coffee, and Mason nicely paid for all of our coffee's, and we headed the 2 hours to the valley.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Their Wife
Nea Riar, a human, accidentally stumbles upon a portal to another world full of everything she has thought to be a myth. There she meets five men; Fae, Demon, Shifter, Warlock, and Incubus. What these five men have in common is that they are each seen as a threat in a society ruled by matriarchy. In the world of Asorix, Arradona is a Queendom where women are superior. Most are physically closer to the size men, the difference in high not as great, and their magical capabilities are naturally stronger from birth. They dominate and tame men, claiming those they see fit as husbands to add to their growing harems. Those of the upper class compete with one another by comparing the number of husbands they have in their harems, ranging anywhere from the tens to the hundreds, and even a rare few in the thousands. In these lands, five men; Zev Dubois, Cassius Montgomery, Jaxon Novak, Ezra Larsen, and Axel Dimitrov are anomalies. They're stronger than any male that has existed, physically and in terms of magical capabilities. The extent of their power is unknown, but it's speculated that they are more powerful than women also. Their power and wealth has earned them a high status without having to marry a wife to gain it, something that was impossible before them. They are seen as a threat by the Council. In an attempt to control them, the Council orders that they must each take a wife in hopes that she can tame these men who show signs of being dominant. The women of Asorix stumble over one another trying to take at least one of the five as a husband for their harem because of their looks, money, and status in society that would all become their own.During this time the five men come across Damanea, a woman who isn't like the rest. She's the opposite of what women in their world are like. Instead of being dominant, assertive, and abusive, she's meek, cautious, and weak. So what do they do?They marry her.WARNING: Slow burn dark romance
