《Taming The Bad Boy》106.

I wish I could say that Olivia was OK after what happened at the pharmacy, but she wasn't.
All yesterday while we were planning something for the boys, she was quiet which, is not Olivia.
Every time I actually asked her if she was alright, she would tell me she'll talk to me when she's ready to, and that I need to help her with this, and focus on play offs this weekend.
And then next weekend, well, Friday night, we have the talent show bullshit for Abby, and then if we win this weekend, the second play off.
If we win that one, the weekend after, we are in the championship.
1 of 3 championships I plan to lead the school to this year.
But, for now, a more pressing matter.
Olivia isn't coming to school today cause she's feeling really sick after taking that pill.
So it's the perfect time to walk in to this school, and find Cameron.
Which I found him at his locker.
"You know, I feel like every time I start to get in a good place, you fuck it up with your bullshit." He rolled his eyes and looked at me.
"No bullshit." I shook my head. "I just really need to ask you something."
"Go for it." He crossed his arms.
"Did you tell Jeremy and Tyler about Olivia losing the baby?"
"Excuse me?" He raised his eyebrows. "Why would you ask me that?"
"Because I know Will didn't say anything, my friends don't talk to them, and the only person who knew that does talk to them, is you." I nodded.
"OK, how do you know they know about it?" He scrunched his face.
"Because Olivia and I were at the pharmacy yesterday, an incident happened and we needed a certain pill, and Jeremy and Tyler were there. They decided to bring it up, and Olivia beat the shit out of Tyler for almost saying she killed our baby. I just wanna know if you told them or not so she doesn't think there's rumors going around school."
He sighed. "Yes, I told them. After everything happened at Connors party, I was emotional, and trashed and just went on this long fucking rant, and it came out. I am sorry." He nodded. "Wait a minute." He held a hand up. "He actually said she killed your baby?"
"Olivia cut him off with a swing. But yeah." I nodded.
He pursed his lips and nodded. "Come with me for a minute." He closed his locker and started walking.
"Wait, what?" I shook my head.
"Just, come on."
"Where are we going?" I cleared my throat.
"Fixing the fucking problem." He nodded.
Oh no.
And unfortunately, I followed him right up to Tylers locker.
"Well fuck, what happened to you?" He walked right up to him and closed his locker.
Tyler turned and raised his eyebrows. "Just a mis-understanding." He nodded.
"A misunderstanding, that's really what we're going with?" Cam nodded. "Mason, was it a misunderstanding?"
"Oh hell nah, I just asked a question. You wanna solve your problem have at it. I'm just gonna pull you off if you go to far because I appreciate the honesty." I put both my hands up.
"Works for me." Cam grabbed his shirt and threw him directly against the lockers.

"What the fuck is your problem!" Tyler yelled.
"Me getting fucking emotional and having a break down to one of my best friend, which you're supposed to be, isn't ammunition for you to be a dick!" Cam yelled.
"It was a fucking joke." He rolled his eyes.
"Killing their fucking baby. That's a joke Tyler?"
"She fucked you over dude!" He yelled.
"No! She didn't! Him." He pointed at me. "Maybe."
"No I didn't." I shook my head.
"But she, did not fuck me over. She was honest with me, but things changed. Her and I talked about it. But I do not need you, fighting my fucking battles for me." And well, he slammed him in to the locker again. "And I do not need you to try to hurt someone I have no interest in fucking hurting. It was my relationship, not yours!"
"Get the fuck off me Cameron."
"And I will, when I hear you say you're going to leave Olivia alone. You drugged her, you were out of pocket when everything between them happened, and now this. This, is the final thing Tyler. Do not talk to her, about her, or about their fucking business. And you can tell Jer the same fucking thing."
"If you don't give a shit about her any more why the fuck do you care."
"Good question."
"Because no one said I didn't give a shit about her." He shook his head. "Seriously, knock it off." Cam let go and pushed him again.
"Well, alright then." I shrugged. "Keep your mouth shut about it, or she wont be the one to hit you next time, I will." I nodded and started walking.
"Mason!" Cam yelled.
I turned and raised my eyebrows. "Tell her I'm sorry. Wont happen again. Right Ty?"
"Whatever." Tyler rolled his eyes.
"You can tell her." I nodded. "She's home today."
"Really?" He pursed his lips.
"I have nothing to worry about." I shook my head and walked around the corner.
I went and met Carter and Ben at Bens locker.
"Well, this has been a fuck of a morning." I nodded.
"Why, what happened?" Ben laughed.
"Saunders, became a good guy for a minute. I told him about yesterday, and he just about whooped Tyler's ass." I laughed.
"Good. Kid deserves it." He nodded.
"Speaking of yesterday." Carter turned out of his locker. "Is there a reason that Oaken would come to my house and ask me to teach him how to punch?"
"What?" We both gave him a look.
"Yeah, Oaken showed up at my house yesterday, and asked me to teach him how to throw a punch."
"You uh, didn't did you?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Should I not have?" He pursed his lips.
"You realize Oaken has a bigger temper, than like, all of us. Combined, right?" Ben laughed.
"So, what I'm hearing is that I just made a mistake and that Connor isn't going to be very happy?"
"Oh no, Connor likes violence. He's gonna be thrilled." Ben nodded.
"Which means, I, am going to be the one who has to deal with Oaken. Did he by any chance say why, he wanted you to teach him how to punch?"

He shook his head.
"Well, lets just pray it doesn't get put to use because his temper is fucking ridiculous." I nodded.
"Mother fucker!" We hear screamed a few lockers down.
We all turned and looked, and there was a girl trying to get in to a locker a few down.
"Apparently so is hers." Ben laughed.
"You have to shake the dial a few times before you put the combination in." Carter nodded.
She turned and looked at him. "I'm sorry?" She raised her eyebrows.
"Most of the lockers are junk." I nodded. "Just kind of, jiggle it before you put the combination in. Normally always works."
"Oh." She nodded. "Thank you." She turned back in to her locker.
"I wanna know why Oaken would want to learn how to throw a punch." Ben shook his head.
"I wanna know why he would ask me and not one of you guys. Ryan can punch, clearly so can Connor." Carter smiled at me.
"Ah ha ha ha, so can I, wanna find out?" I nodded.
"I mean, you can try, didn't go that well for Ryan though." He shrugged and took his glasses off.
I pursed my lips. "Touche."
"Well, hello." We heard next to us.
Porter was now standing with the girl, who got her locker open by the way.
"Can I help you?" She didn't even look out of her locker.
"I just, wanted to come introduce myself, offer to show you around. I'm Porter Davis, your official welcoming committee. And, your name is?"
"If you were the actual welcoming committee, you'd know my name." She nodded.
I choked back a laugh and looked at Ben.
"I like her." Ben nodded.
"Your name, is Maylee Jones." Porter nodded. "Just wanted to figure out how to pronounce it."
"Well you pronounced it right. I'm also not interested in your little tour." She shook her head.
"Oh come on, I just want to make you feel welcome. Buy you lunch, show you around town, make a date out of it."
"No." She rolled her eyes.
"Porter, she said she's not interested, just leave her alone." Carter nodded.
"Why don't you mind your own business Pruditt." Porter rolled his eyes.
"Pruditt." Carter laughed. "Not broadcasting my personal life, doesn't make me a prude. It makes me private." He handed me his glasses.
"Oh boy." I pursed my lips.
"Oh, little fighter boy took his glasses off, I'm shaking." Porter nodded.
"OK." The girl cleared her throat.
Now, I don't know what happened or how, but the next thing I know, this girl has Porter pinned stomach to locker with an arm bent up behind his back.
"Oh damn." Ben laughed.
"Listen, if there is one thing that really gets me mad, it's a bully." She nodded. "Little fighter boy, could probably knock you unconscious. But as for me, if you come near me again, I will break your arm in half." She moved his hand up toward his shoulder.
"Ow fuck!" He yelled.
"Are we understood, or should I let little fighter boy take it from here?"
"No, no I got it." He yelled.
"Good." She let go of his arm and shoved him down the hall. "Have a good day."
"Bitch." He mumbled and walked away.
She finished putting books in her locker and closed it. She took a deep breath. "Great first day." She shook her head and turned toward us. "Boys." She nodded and started walking past us. But then she stopped and looked at Carter. "Thanks for trying." She gave him a small smile and walked away.
"Well, she's fucking terrifying." I nodded.
"I don't know, I think she's refreshing." Ben shrugged.
"What'd she say her name was?" Carter just watched her walk away.
Ben and I just looked at him, then at each other and smiled.
We all headed to first period, which felt like it lasted 6 hours, and Carter and I met in English.
"You hear from your friend Porter yet?" I smiled and sat down behind him and next to Sienna.
"No, but I'm sure I will. I always do." He rolled his eyes.
"And you. Hello pretty." I threw my arm over Sienna.
She looked at me and raised her eyebrows.
"Oh come on, what could I have possibly done now."
"You know, I really REALLY hate hearing things from Olivia, and not you." She nodded.
I sighed. "About?"
"Had the need for a certain pill?" She gave me a look.
"Oooo, someone's in trouble." Carter laughed.
I pursed my lips. "An incident happened, we handled it." I nodded.
"I love you dude. But come on, you know better than that." She shook her head.
"Oh, so you wanna talk to me about not telling you things, meanwhile, Connor told me that Ian called you Friday Night, and not you?" I raised my eyebrows.
She just stared at me.
"OOO, you in trouble too." Carter nodded.
"Shut up." She nodded.
"Class, could we please welcome our new student?" Miss Jordan stood up at her desk.
We all looked to the front of the classroom, and the girl from this morning was standing there.
"Everyone, this is Maylee Jones, she just moved here from Denver Colorado, lets make sure she's brought up to speed, please. Maylee, you can take the seat between Mr. Saunders, and Mr. Pruitt."
"She's cute." Sienna looked up at me.
"She pinned Porter to a locker this morning." I nodded.
"Well damn, like her already." She whispered.
"Yeah, so does Carter." I whispered.
She walked back and sat between Carter and Cam.
"Cameron." He held his hand out.
"Maylee." She shook it then looked at Carter. "Little fighter boy." She nodded.
"I'm not the one who pinned someone to a locker this morning." Carter shook his head.
"Cam did." I nodded.
"That I did. But he had it coming." Cam nodded.
"So did Porter." Carter shrugged.
"Yeah, well like I said, not fond of bullies." She shook her head.
"Well, you handled yourself really well." Carter nodded.
"I'd hope so. Being female fighter of the Summer and all." She nodded.
"Huh?" He looked at her.
"Female fighter of the summer, Denver Colorado." She shrugged.
"Fighter of the Summer, here." Carter nodded and looked back at me.
I smiled and shrugged.
"Well, damn." Sienna whispered.
Well damn is correct.
She's perfect for Carter.
May possibly kick his ass though.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
