《My Brothers Best Friend》Chapter 39 // Locker love

Annabelle's POV:
I walk down the corridor and there is no one around, just silence. I can't see Carter anywhere as a pair of muscular arms wrap around me from behind. I'm pinned against the wall and stare straight into Carter's green eyes. "Were you hiding by the lockers?" I asked trying my best to contain my laugh. He nodded towards me and said "well I wanted to get the jump on you and it worked" he said smugly as he then bit his lip. Seeing him do this was enough to turn my body into melted flesh and I felt my face explode into a red blush and so I looked at the floor hastily. "What are you doing?" Carter asked me placing his fingers gently onto my chin and raising my head. I tried to pry my hands away from his face but he had surprisingly good grip, "I don't want you to see me blush" I said creasing my face trying to hide my pink frustration.
"Shit" Carter hissed as a quiet as a whisper as he brought his lips millimetres from mine and brushed them ever so lightly. "Carter.." I whispered as he ran his fingertips up my arms, "what if people see us?". Carter's eyes had a dangerous hunger to them as he replied swiftly, "I couldn't' give less of a fuck about them, I warned you not to crease your face like that" and with that our lips met. The tease he had played had fuelled the fireworks that I now felt going on in my mouth. The kiss was pure passion as they synced together, our tongues rejoiced in the feeling of each other as I felt him press up against me. My fingers involuntarily found their way into his hair as I ran them through his black hair. Our lips left each other as he began kissing my neck so gently as "Carter" escaped my mouth as a half moan half whisper. Carter brought his eyes up to mine which had darkened in colour as he said "don't say my name like that or I'll take you right here in the hallway".

I swallowed hard by the look on his face he was serious, but he couldn't be. He could tell that I didn't know whether or not he was serious as he whispered into my ear "I've never been more serious". He brought his face far away enough so he could see my eyes. I was contemplating in my head whether he was serious, I cocked up my eyebrow as a smirk erupted onto his face. "Have it your way" he said quickly as he crashed his lips onto mine. This kiss was more forceful and more passionate than the last but I wasn't complaining. His hand touched my thigh and he slowly drifted his fingertips upwards to the top of my jeans as he slid his hands behind me, under my bum, hoisting my up between the wall and his amazingly toned body. His kiss left my mouth as they travelled from my jaw to neck making my body erupt into little spasms. "Carter someone will catch us" I whisper inside not really wanting it to stop as he replied sternly, "let them". These words seemed to turn me on even more as I began to rotate my hips that were pressed above his ever growing pleasure under his jeans. He brought his mouth back up to mine as he let out a groan of delight making my hands scratch his back ever so gently. "Shit Annabelle" he whispered against my lips as he began to run his hand down towards my top. I felt his large hand begin to run across my stomach as I heard footsteps echo against the corridor floor.
I jumped away from Carter using all I could to try and push him away but he barely moved. "Carter" I hissed as his eyes seemed to plead with me, he cocked his head to the side with his puppy dog eyes. "Please" I whimpered as he gave in and let me down. I adjusted my hair and clothes as I stepped out from behind the lockers. It was only a janitor so I beckoned for Carter to come out from hiding also. Carter ran his fingers through his hair but his face was plagued with a sad look, "what's wrong Carter?" I asked him feeling worried. He shook his head and went to walk past me but I gripped the top half of his arm and told him "no tell me". His head turned to me quickly as he clenched his jaw tightly and said, "why do we always have to hide what we are Annabelle?". The question took me aback, I opened my mouth and closed it again because I didn't know what to say but he stood there still waiting for an answer that I wasn't going to give. "That's what I thought" he said bluntly. I creased my eyebrows as I said back quickly, "what do you mean by that?". He let out a deep breath as he spoke bluntly and harshly, "you don't have an answer for me ever? You're always afraid of what your brother thinks but he's not the one in the relationship you are. You live in his shadow and you think everything needs to be approved by him and I just want you Annabelle, you and only you". With this he turned and left but all I had in my head was one single word. Relationship. We were in a relationship?
