Annabelle's POV:

I sat in my the living room fidgeting with my jeans. I hadn't really known what to wear because Carter was being very mysterious about where he was taking me so I had put on my light blue jeans and a black high neck top with 3/4 sleeves. I heard light tapping on the door as I stood up to get it. My Dad was still at work but had wished me good luck for my date with Carter even though he told me that he didn't think I needed it. Danny had bounced down the doors to beat me to it and opened the door briskly to a handsome Carter who was standing very abruptly at realising it had been Daniel who had opened the door.

Carter's eyes widened for a second looking at Daniel as his eyes fell on me and he relaxed instantly. A grin grew on his face as he looked me up and down before his stare was broken by Daniel's coughing. Carter and I both looked up at Danny who had an eyebrow raised whilst staring at Carter. "Alright bro?" Carter asked showing as much confidence as he could muster but I could tell deep down he was probably slightly nervous, as was I. Danny gave him a slight not without changing his facial expression, "do you have a slight cough?" Carter asked now teasing him. Daniel's eyes narrowed as he began laughing and pulled Carter into a bro hug. The boys were happier and it made me happier I made my way over to them as they pulled apart. Carter looked at me with a genuine smile which earned a very scarlet blush from my face. I walked next to him as I kept my eyes to the floor, genuinely curious why Carter still had this effect on me. Damn, I really, really like this kid don't I. "Have her home by 10 and no funny business Reins. I know you", Danny said pointing a finger into Carter's chest. Carter raised his hands in surrender and nodded as he took my hand and guided us to his car. He opened the door for me and as he did he whispered, "your brother should also know me well enough to know that I can't keep my hands off of you". This sent my skin into a warm frenzy and my face erupted into red flames as he let out a low chuckle and turned to face Daniel who was still at the door and waved at him with a big grin on his face.

He jumped into the car next to me and began driving off. I watched him as he drove. His black hair was messy like he had just woken up but perfect none the less, his jaw was sharp as the stubble along his chin highlighted as much, his green eyes were bright and beautiful but could be dark and dangerous and finally his pink lips that drew me in instantly were plump and alluring. "Like what you see?" the cocky idiot sitting next to me said, I looked over to see him looking at me with a massive goofy grin on his face. "Just watch the road Reins" I said as I turned to avoid him seeing me blush...yet again. We sat in a comfortable silence with the hand I let Carter slide onto my thigh sitting there peacefully until I asked, "where are we going? I don't even know if im dressed appropriately". I started fiddling with my jeans as Carter had been wearing, dark blue jeans, a smart jumper and some trainers. "It's a surprise", he started, "and don't worry baby you look beautiful" he finished whilst biting his lip and staring at me. If this kid made me blush one more time I think my body would overheat so whilst trying to calm myself down I said, "thank you" but I meant it more confidently and ended up coming out as a squeaking whisper which earned a laugh from Carter as he squeezed my thigh gently.

We finally pulled up to a large building with the words 'Larry's Ice Rink' in big, bold, white letters. "Ice Skating?!" I said a little too enthusiastically. Carter turned to me whilst rubbing his neck and said, "yeah I hope this is okay, I just thought you might like it and I was really unsure what to do so I thought this was-" I cut him off as I threw my lips onto his. He reciprocated immediately and put his hands around my waist pulling me closer as we pulled away and whispered breathlessly, "I love it so much". We pulled away from each other as we reached for the doors, "wait!" Carter called as he jumped out the car and ran around to my side. He opened the door for me as he reached out for my hand and helped me out, "if we're going to do this then we need to do this right" Carter said as he brought my hand to his lips and kissed it gently which received a very girly giggle from myself.

We walked inside and the atmosphere was amazing. I had only ever been skating once, I went as a little girl and it was both the best and worst experience of my life but this time I was too giddy to even think anything negative. Carter paid for the tickets and grabbed the skates as we put them on our feet and gave the clerk our shoes. Walking towards the rink was one of the trickiest things because the skates were made for the ice and not the floor so balance and gravity became my worst enemy for those few moments but Carter made it look as effortless as always. He reached the ice before I did and held out his hand for me which I grasped immediately. He smiled as he pulled me onto the ice, we went slowly at first but I could tell he was holding back for me. I wasn't completely useless but I needed time to get used to the ice. "Carter" I said looking up at his glowing green eyes and a winning smile, "go" I said politely. He furrowed his eyebrows at first with his face plagued with confusion. "Go and have fun you don't have to babysit me" I said clarifying my statement, his face relaxed as he shook his head and said, "are you sure?". I thought for a moment, I wanted to do this by myself and he needed his fun so I nodded and with a kiss on the cheek he left.

Hey Guys!!

Another long chapter but i hope you guys are enjoying them! I can't believe that this story is almost and i actually committed to finishing it. It's my first ever Wattpad story and im genuinely so proud.

Did you guys like the date? Have you gusy ever been ice skating, i based this off of my own experience but how was it for you guys? How would you guys like this story to end? I'd love to know.
