Annabelle's POV:

I woke up the next morning and I couldn't explain how happy I felt. I had gone to bed last night replaying every single detail and I couldn't put into words how happy he had made me that evening. Carter was everything and more that I wanted and more than I deserved but I loved that kid. I actually loved him. I hadn't seen Dad leave this morning so I hadn't spoken to him for a while but I was sure to talk to him later. Danny had left for work an hour ago and as I was sitting by myself I realised one thing. I wanted Carter with me right now. So I text him exactly that.

I went to have a shower as I didn't expect an immediate reply and I took my time and enjoyed the water. Once I had got dry and dressed he had text me back only a few minutes ago and his response had got my heart fluttering.

Love that kid.

I threw my hair up in a messy bun and went downstairs into the kitchen to make some food for when he gets here. I made some pancakes but whilst I was making some more there was a knock on the door. I quickly ran to the door and standing there was my handsome dark haired Carter. "Pancakes?" he asked after sniffing the air and smiling at me, I nodded and just like him I said, "you betcha". We walked to the kitchen as I finished up the pancakes with Carter just staring at me. "Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked blushing harshly. He got up from around the table and walked behind me as he gripped my waist and said, "because I could get used to seeing you cook me food". I pushed him away playfully.

We went about watching movies and cuddling all day. We were about 3 movies in when Carter squeezed me and said, "I was going to ask to come see you today even if you hadn't text me". I was fiddling with his fingers with mine as I looked up at him slightly, "oh yeah? Why's that?" I asked curious as to why he wanted to see me as well. I sat up straighter and I widened my eyes in shock, "Carter are you blushing?!" I half asked / half shouted. Carter's eyes narrowed as he released the arm that was rubbing the back of his neck. He looked like a deer in headlights but it was only for a moment. A massive smirk grew on his face as he grabbed me and placed me on his lap.

"Carter!" I called giggling as he started tickling my side violently. He sent me into a laughing frenzy as I begged for him to stop. He soon did but then leant into my ear and whispered, "don't worry I'll make you blush too". He didn't even give me time to register his words before his lips were all over my neck. I felt my body shudder as Carter's kisses rose from my neck to my lips and touched his lips to mine. At first the kiss was sweet and gentle, our lips were barely brushing each other but then it got deeper and deeper. Our lips fitted perfectly with each other and I could think of no other place to be. His tongue brushed my lips looking for me to open them and as his finger laced into my hair and gently tugged I let out a small gasp that provided him with his entry. He explored my mouth as I explored his, he tasted like mint and it was like a drug to me. One of his hands left my hair and descended to the small of my back and pushed me closer to him as if there was room between us - which there wasn't.

His kiss drew a small moan from me and I felt him kiss against the smile. Carter's hands began to roam all over my body whilst I kept my hands in his now unkempt hair. He placed his hands firmly on my thighs and hoisted me up from under my bum. He flipped us so I was sitting on the sofa and he was now on his knees in front of me but did not once break the kiss that had me entranced by him. Then he stopped. He looked me in my eyes while confusion plagued my face and said 5 words that made my heart stop.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Hey Guys!

So yeah my heart just literally stopped!!! I'm so glad Carter finally got around to asking Annabelle because it was LONG overdue!

What do we think Annabelle will say? Any new ideas for Carter's choice of anniversary destination? Who's everyone's favourite character?
