Carter's POV:

I woke up earlier than her. The girl who had successfully taken my heart and didn't even know it. She smelled sweetly of vanilla and having her hair and body brushed up against me was the best feeling. My hands were wrapped tightly around her waist and it felt natural, like they belonged there. The smiled crept up on my face as I felt her body shiver slightly as I tightened my hold on her. It was unnatural for me to be this happy but she had that effect on me. I felt her small body begin to turn within my arms and she met my eyes with a beautiful smile on her face and blushed cheeks that made my whole body tingle. "Hey" she breathed in a sleepy voice, I brought my lips to her forehead and kissed her softly, "I could stay this way for a long time Walters" I whispered into her ear. She snuggled deeper into my chest and I didn't want to move ever again.

We laid there unsure of how long we had been there but neither of us cared. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. This was how my Saturday's should be for the rest of my life. Wow. What was I saying? I knew what I was saying. Im going to marry this girl. Annabelle Reins. God that sounded perfect. She was perfect. I was completely whipped over this girl. Head over heels. Then we heard knocking on her door and her head shot up like a meerkat. "Annie?" Danny called from the other side of the door, shit. Annabelle shoved me off the bed so I landed on the floor with a thump as Danny came in and Annabelle threw the blanket over her exposed body.

"D-Danny, h-hi" she stuttered causing me to try and stifle a laugh. "Just thought I'd come in and tell you that Dad said he's taking us out for dinner and not Carter so he can leave now", Danny said as I heard his voice become more tense as he finished his sentence. I sat up from the other side of the bed and chuckled lowly as I saw Annabelle's blushed face cupped in her hands as Danny glared at me and left.

I stood up as Annabelle turned her face in embarrassment, I climbed onto the bed next to her as I whispered, "it isn't anything you haven't seen before babe" and this earned a playful slap and giggle from Annabelle that was totally worth it. I threw my jeans on and chucked my top over my head as I kissed the side of her head, "text you later?" I asked as she gave me a winning smile and nodded. She leant forward and gave me a kiss that I deepened earning a moan from her lips as I pulled away and whispered, "I wouldn't make that sound if you want me to go". She giggled and with that I left her in bed alone - unfortunately.

Driving home I had the largest smile on my face and it was all because of her, I needed our one year anniversary to be special.

To be memorable.

Hey Guys!!

I really try to replicate a boy's emotions to the best of my ability but not being one really causes a struggle so i hope that they have been okay. I have decided that this story will be 68 chapters long and no more so I hope you guys enjoy the countdown.
