I walked into the kitchen and saw some sandwiches, it's a good thing I was hungry. I sat down with Gerard and Lyn-Z, and we talked for a little bit.
"So Adie, tell us about yourself." She said with a bright smile. I returned it, brushing some hair from my face with my hand.
"Well, my name is Adeline Abernathy, I'm 16, my favorite color is black and my favorite musical artist is David Bowie." I chuckled after I said that like I had just stated the obvious, and they laughed in response.
Just then a phone buzzed and I saw Gerard reach into his pocket, he raised an eyebrow. "Hold on, It's Ray."
He exited the room, and it was me and Lyn-Z. I finished my sandwich so we talked about video games, she wanted to know more about me. In the middle of our conversation about Fallout, Gerard came back in with very positive energy, probably something band related.
"Why don't we watch a movie or something? We could watch the Stars Wars trilogy so we could go to bed afterwards." Gerard said, clapping his hands together. Lyn-Z and I nodded in agreement and settled down to watch Star Wars.
~ Time Skip ~
"Wow." I stared in amazement. We just watched the entire Star Wars trilogy in one sitting, and it flew by.
"Eh I watched it like five times with this guy." Lyn-Z laughed. I laughed too.
"Well I'm going to bed." Gerard got up from the couch and walked upstairs.
"Not without me your not!" Lyn-Z exclaimed and raced after him. Cute. I got off the couch and slowly walked upstairs, really tired. I realized I threw my phone on my bed and decided to check it.
" 10 messages from Kay "

I froze. Why would Kay do this? She usually patiently waits for me to respond. I opened up my phone to check them out.
" Adie? "
" Hello? "
" ? "
" I miss you :( "
" I want to be there with you... "
" Do you miss me? "
" Adie? "
" Please answer me. "
" I guess you don't care "
" Bye "
I couldn't believe what I was reading. Why is she acting like I don't care about her all of a sudden? I replied with:
"I'm sorry Kay, I was watching Star Wars the whole day and I didn't check my phone. I care about you Kay, you know that. Goodnight."
I shut off my phone and placed it on the dresser. I changed into my pajamas and got into bed, and I heard a knock on my door, I was too comfy to get up so I just yelled
"come in I'm too lazy!" Gerard and Lyn-Z came in the room and laughed at my comment.
"We just wanted to say goodnight." they smiled.
"Goodnight, now please leave because I'm about to pass out and that would be awkward." I laughed and they smiled and walked out of the room. And I fell asleep.
~
"Mommy!" I cried. There was no answer. I got up, I was able to move. I had two broken legs and I could walk! I looked around, the plane was smashed, dead bodies laying everywhere. I stared down at my hands, blood completely covering them."Daddy!" I called out. Still no answer. I broke down crying, dropping to my knees. I heard footsteps coming my way, a pilot. He held his hand out and I grabbed it. When I touched his hand and I was back on the plane. Red lights and alarms flashing, I looked around, I was the only one on the plane. Turning to my left, I looked out the window, the plane was hurdling towards the ground. I could see my parents at the bottom, waving and smiling at me. When I put my hand on the glass, the plan crashed.

My neck instantly snapped.
~
"Mom, dad!" I cried out, instantly shooting up from the bed. I started crying, I haven't had that nightmare in months, I thought I had gotten rid of it. Gerard and Lyn-Z came bursting into the room, the door practically making a dent in the wall.
"Adie, are you okay?!" Lyn-Z yelled pulling me into a tight embrace. Gerard raced to my other side.
"What happened?!?" Gerard asked with concern and fear. I started sobbing at this point, my eyes stinging from the tears.
" I h-had a nightmare and I d-died in the plane c-crash. " I sobbed, unable to form another sentence. Gerard placed his hand over his mouth.
Lyn-Z let go of me and rubbed my back.
"It's okay, we're here now." She told me.
She was right, they were here now. With me, and not just some money crazed orphanage staff woman pretending to be nice. When I had the nightmares, they would give me a cooled towel to put on my forehead. And that was that.
I nodded and they both hugged me before asking if I was okay again. I replied with a yes and they left my room, and after a few minutes, I drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal...
Ever since meeting his uncle, Arthur has pushed himself daily to achieve an arbitrary goal. He trained like nobody else did, longer than anybody else could. He neglected his personal relationships to pursue something he didn't even understand, in hindsight. When the time came for his class awakening ritual, he was ready. He was ready to receive a powerful starting class and to break free from his boring lifestyle. Well, you know what they say, "Be careful what you wish for, lest your wish be granted." Arthur was assigned the death knight class, which is just barely, technically, maybe legal. With it, he learns about what drove him to such simple minded ambition in the first place: his affinity. Now, he's faced with a dilemma: will he embrace it, or reject it? 'My class [Death Knight] is just barely legal' is a laid back story with occasional tension, that describes Arthur, a young man, exploring the world, the system and his own mental health as he pursues his ambitions. This story is the first serious fiction I ever wrote, so while criticism is definitely welcomed, keep it polite. I'm going to rewrite the first few chapters at some point, since they're not as good as my later ones, but I'm focusing on my current chapters first. I don't have time to do both yet, since I'm also in the middle of my exams. What to expect from this story: -Litrpg elements -A chaotic good aligned protagonist (that starts off as a neutral good protagonist) -(Hopefully) interesting characters. What not to expect from this story: -Grimdark elements -Harem -An enslaved protagonist. (I mention this due to the background of the mc's class) Release schedule: 1 chapter every other day, 2pm European time (14:00) Join the discord here: https://discord.gg/YHZFB4HMHD

Musings of a Hypocrite
Mortals are weird. They insisted in unity, as well as individualism. More often than not, they're shocked at truth and honesty, but not at falsehood and deceit. They asked questions with multiple answers, and provided answers that begged other questions. They made things to break, they destroyed things to study, they researched things to recreate. Humans, Elves, Beastmen. All of them. Within these contradictions, a miracle might manifest. But this tended to work with a trial and error methodology. Most mortals never got the happy ending. This diary is my journey alongside a few students of mine. In simple terms - they learn, they grow, they fight. They'll journey through centuries of conflict, from the physical to the educational. They'll experience the cruelty and benelovence of all living-kind. They'll experience the consequences of their choices and the blessings of their rewards. They will grow to become useful to me, or die trying like all the others. As for you? The god reading our lives like a book, sitting in your chair without a care in the world? I will show you, the farce that is known as 'God'.
