I opened my heavy eyes to the sound of my alarm beeping. I instantly realized I slept the through the entire day.
"Crap!" I shouted, leaping from my bed and racing to my wardrobe. I changed into a yellow jumper, black leggings, and combat boots. I quickly did my makeup as best as I could and rushed downstairs, almost tripping and falling on the last step. Ryan and Brendon were already having breakfast. They acknowledged my presence as I went to grab my backpack.
"I'll drive you." Ryan said, getting up from the chair.
" No it's okay, I'll walk today. I kinda need the exercise." I said, gesturing for him to sit back down. He reluctantly sat back down and I waved them goodbye before heading out the door. The only reason I chose to walk was because I thought I needed to loose a few pounds, I was getting a little on the heavier side. As I turned the corner, my heart started racing. Walking up the street, was the blonde bitch I somehow can't get away from, apparently named Cyndi Walter. I assured myself she was nothing to worry about, but a girl like that could ruin your life. I slowly started walking in her direction hoping she wouldn't notice. Sadly, my prayers didn't work.
"Oh, it's you." She said, stopping in her tracks. It sucked because there was no one around to witness what ever she was going to do next. She started walking closer to me, and I started to panic. Was she going to hit me? Was she going to scream at me? I had no idea. We were now face to face.
"You know, It's good to see you walking. Because, you know, you're kind of fat." I should have expected her to say that, I have been getting a little pudgy. I had the urge to say

"Well at least i'm not a stick", but that would earn me certain death. She looked me up and down.
"Those leggings really show off your fat rolls." Cyndi laughed, pointing to my legs. I honestly had no comebacks, so I just looked like an idiot. That's when she started kind of crossing the line.
"Like, I'm surprised you're hanging around with a smoking hot guy like Jesse. You're gross, ugly, and well, fat as hell." She said, crossing her arms. I decided to say something, and to be honest, I wish I didn't.
"You know." I said, mocking her voice, she quickly unfolded her arms, taken aback.
"You're really rude and I'm surprised people like you because, like, you're such a bitch." I remarked. Her face went red with anger. If I could take back what I just said, I would. She clenched her fist and swung at me, hitting me right in the face.
"You piece of shit!" She screamed, continuing to hit me all over my body. I quickly fell down and curled into a ball. She started kicking me on my side.
"You asked for it! You fucking asked for it!" Cyndi yelled in anger, her kicks getting stronger with each word. I rolled over, which created just enough space between my batted body and her evil heel. I quickly got up and ran for my life. I hurt like hell, but I managed to do it.
"You are going to fucking get it! Just wait for it smart ass!" She yelled from behind me. I didn't look back at all when I was running.
I now had a black eye, and really bad bruises all over my body. I quickly slipped in the school doors without a large group of people noticing the black and blue circle on my eye. I made my way up to the third floor and into my classroom. My teacher looked at me with concern, but she didn't say anything. I sat down at my desk when I noticed her walking up to me.

"Adeline, are you okay? What happened?" she questioned. She was obviously referring to my new face decoration. I quickly rubbed over my throbbing eye.
"Oh it was just an accident." I said, hoping she was convinced. She simply nodded and went back to her desk and started the lesson.
When it was time for lunch, I was nervous about confronting Jesse. I knew he would interrogate me about my eye. I anxiously walked into the cafeteria and sat down. Not long after that, I heard Jesse's voice from behind me.
"Adie! How have you - OH MY GOD!" He said, once he saw my black and blue pride and joy.
"Adie, what the hell happened to you?!" he frantically asked, sitting down next to me immediately.
"Jesse it's fine." I said, covering up my eye.
"No it's not, tell me what happened." he looked very concerned, so I told him everything . He grabbed my hand and started rubbing it.
"I could kill her if you want me to." He said, sounding a little serious.
"Don't." I smiled, "I won't be able to talk to you of you're in high security prison." I jokingly said.
"Why high security?"
"Well I know you'd kill her in some sick, twisted way." we both started laughing. He really makes every situation better.

Eleknar's Heir, The Infernal Prince (Demonic LitRPG)
A LitRPG and Epic Fantasy adventure: The son of a mafia boss finds himself abruptly plunged into an alternate world where he must find a way to survive the horrors of a realm called Oblivion, make pacts with demons, form unnatural friendships, and figure out what the hell is going on – all while dealing with the depressing reality of his past. An artificial intelligence has ascended into godhood and has thrown Trey’s home into Chaos, pulling millions of people into an enchanted new life... or, in Trey's case, a violent nightmare. As far as he can tell, he is locked into what the system prompts call a ‘Death Game.’ Here, artificial reality is manufactured for the enjoyment of a being called the All Spirit, and he has a very real chance of truly dying. Just how real is this place though? Is it merely a simulation, a realistic game of life and death… or is it something much more? Elves, dwarves, undead, and other races only thought to exist in fairy tales are now a reality. Black magics, pantheons of gods at odds with one another, predatory symbiotes, and an unholy calling, the significance of which he has yet to grasp, are all entangled with his fate. ============================================ ============================================ Some things to expect when reading this book series: - Brutal storyline where no character is safe and choices have real consequences. Heavy on action, survival, and adventure - An isekai. The main character struggles to find himself, repeatedly crossing the line between good and evil as other important characters influence his life - Harem (explicit), though this only starts about 180k words in. - Good amounts of crafting, town building, and guild building later on - Good amounts of fantasy-related LitRPG stats, rank ups, and evolutions. Heavy focus on demons and black magics - There will be many points of view, but there is only one primary/main character that takes up 90% of the POV - A long storyline. Currently (as of 7/26/2021) I have about 1500k words written, though much of it will have to be heavily edited and re-written. I also plan to go far beyond 1500k words if people like the story (A lot of it is also in the 'backstories' book that explores the guildmates, the link is below) - Chapters will have an average of about 4k-5k words, a little longer than most other books on RR, though there will be exceptions for more and less. I just didn't like posting chapters that didn't feel complete, and 2k words often felt like too little. - If you like super-heroic and goody-goody characters, this story is not for you. ***Updated once a week***
