Pixal controlled the car and drove Kai right next to a diesel truck with nindroids on a transport. Kai looked up and winced. The nindroids were shooting lasers at him and all Kai could do was duck. Pixal shifted gears and the car slowed down to get behind. Another gear shift and Kai was thrown back into his chair. The speed accelerated and sped up.

Pythor looked back at Kai still trailing them.

"Shoot the mountain!" Pythor commanded. A few of the cars behind started to shoot the cliffs of the mountain above. Debris fell in the way of the road. Kai yelled.

Pixal came in clutch with a plan. She fired her own set of missiles at the debris and cleared a path. The dew rocks that were launches in the air destroyed the nindroids in the air.

"Oh, heh. That was close!" Kai said looking back.

"I thought close was the objective." Pixal retorted.

The car drove up to the side of the truck but almost got rammed into the cliff side.

"I can't get past him. Get ready and hold on." Pixal said.

"To what?" Kai asked.

"To this."

Kai sunk down a bit and the handles of a bike popped up in front of him. The front part of the car lifted up and a third wheeled started to turn.

"What's happening?!" Kai asked.

"Woah--" as soon as he knew it, Kai was launched forwards and on the road.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHH!" He yelled waving his arms in the air.

The bike bombed into the back of the diesel truck and Kai grabbed onto it. The bike pulled back to the car as Kai tried not to die.

"Keep your sunglasses close, they're also a receiver so we can communicate." Pixal informed.

"Alright!" Kai said jumping to his feet while still on the car.

"Time to heat things up!"

Kai made his way to the top where some nindroids were waiting for him. As they fired Kai ducked behind the surface of the truck. He lit his hand up and smirked.

"You're fired!!" Kai yelled as he sent a flaming ball at the nindroids.

"And you're fired!!" Kai did it again.

The ninja smiled at his defeated enemies when he looked back at the truck. The purple cover that was on the containers started to burn off.

"Uh oh..." Kai said.

"Ninja-go!!" Kai flared up his spinjitzu and made his way to the drivers part.

"Uh, Pixal...?" Kai started. He looked at the symbols on the metal tank.

"I'm sitting on a tanker of jet fuel?" He continued.

"And I think I just lit the match."

"Jet fuel?" Garmadon repeated from Borg tower.

"He needs to get off that tanker before it explodes!"

"Pixal, get him out of there!" Wu insisted.

"Kai, there's a series of one lane tunnels up ahead." Pixal started.

"We must time it right to get you off of there."

Kai saw more nindroids climbing to his level. They shot and Kai jumped back to dodge. Suddenly, Kai tripped and fell between the two tanks.

Pixal sped up the car but in doing so, cut open a little hole for the jet fuel to pour out of.

"Hurry! Jump now!" Pixal said. Kai looked to his right. The car was waiting for him.

Nindroids grabbed Kai's feet and the tunnel approached. Pixal had to draw back. Thankfully, some nindroids are stupid and got hit off by the top of the tunnel. Kai was left fighting min-droid on the top of the tank.

"Kai! Now is no time to fight!" Pixal cried over the radio. The ninja saw the car beside him and punched min-droid off of him.

All vehicles exited the tunnels and Pixal screeched to a stop behind the truck that blocked her path.

"Getting kinda hot up here!" Kai yelled pushing min-droid back.

"Where are you?!"

"Tied up at the moment!" Pixal exclaimed then got the car moving again. The nindroids shot at Pixal and her driving pushed one car against the mountain.

Another tunnel can up and Pixal crashed the opposing car into the mountain side before entering.

Kai had just about enough of this tini droid. He lay on his back and pushed min-droid up against the tunnel ceiling, creating sparks.

"Ha! How do you like that, sparky?!" Kai exclaimed.

One spark flew down and hit the trail of fuel being left behind.

"Oops." Kai looked back. Mindroid got slammed away by a stop light but, fell onto the prototype. The droid shot the front part of the car, making it catch on little flames and halting to a stop.

"Pixal! I gotta go! Like, now!!" Kai shouted watching the flames reach closer to the tanker of fuel.

"I can't get to you!" Pixal cried.

"There's no time!" But she tried anyways by using the bike.

Kai ran as fast as he could to get to the front of the truck. The flames hut the tank and the explosion started.

"Kai!!" Zane cried from behind the screen. The explosion faded and one truck of field remained.

"Kai! Can you hear me?!" Pixal shouted.

"Loud and clear!" Kai smirked and raised his shades. The fire ninja had escaped death by attacking himself onto the bottom of the last truck.

"Well, maybe not so clear at the back of this truck!"

"Haha! We lost him!" Pythor exclaimed triumphantly.

"We might have lost one pay load, but we still have through other!" Pythor announced into a communicator.

"Excellent! Bring it to the launch site!" A menacing voice responded.

"Listen up!" Kai grabbed his shades.

"The Overlord's alive!" He announced over the radio to Borg tower.

"What?" Wu asked.

"Do you know where they're heading?" He inquired.

The truck slowed.

"Wait! They're stopping! This might be it!" Kai whispered loudly.

"I have to he quiet so they don't find my perfect hiding spot--"

Kai turned his head.

"You!" Pythor yelled.

"Huh? Me?"

"Gather everyone." Wu said.

"We have to find out where they're going before it's too late."

"Ah! Greatest. Movie. Ever!!" Jay exclaimed walking out of the theater.

"Yeah, it was pretty good!" Nya agreed.

"You said you'd pick between us after the date." Cole reminded.

"So? Who will it be?"

"...Right! Eh heh... Uh..." Nya stopped.

"Yeah, this has been going on long enough! Just decade already!" Jay said.

"Uh... My decision is..." Nya started slowly.

Jay and Cole started at each other in anticipation.

"Jole!" Nya exclaimed and ran up to a small droid at the door.

"Jole?!" The boys exclaimed at the same time.

"Yeah! He's the best parts of you put together!" Nya said Golding the droid in the air.

"Part Jay, part Cole! Jole!" She exclaimed. Both boys had their mouths wide open.

"But, my name is robo-usher 3000." The droid said.

"Like all boys, you can be reprogrammed." Nya said.

Then, a flash in the sky and Cole and Jay's symbols were projected in the clouds.

"Hey, they need us back at head quarters!" Cole remarked.

The three along with Nya's new droid arrived at the 100th floor of Borg tower, where everyone had already regrouped (with the absence of Kai.)

"We got here was fast as we could!" Nya said.

"But, my name is robo-usher 3000!" The droid said again. Everyone stared at the droid confused. Nya sighed and let it go back to it's occupation.

"The Overlord is back. And he has Kai." Zane informed.

"The Overlord?" The new arrivals said in unison.

"We know they plan to launch project Arcturus tonight, but we need to figure out what it is in order to save him." Wu said.

"Think, think! The answer must be right in front of us."

"The Overlord's dyre wish is to become the golden master." Lloyd said.

"Maybe that has something to do with it."

"Good, Lloyd." Wu said.

"But, what since does all this make? What is project Arcturus?" He asked

"I've run every combination of these clues through my database to see how they're connected. But there is not coralation." Pixal informed by a computer.

"It's in the sky." Morro said by the window. Everyone turned their attention to him.

"Arcturus is a constellation, is it not?" Morro asked.

"Yes?" Nya said.

"And Kai said the were transporting jet fuel." Morro continued.

"A rocket?" Jay said.

"That's the only thing that I could think of to use jet fuel for. Except, jets, of course." The lightning ninja said.

"We have that, we just need to connect to dots." Cole said.

"Pixal, maybe there's a reason it's not in your database!" Zane said.

"But, everything in Ninjago history has been recorded inside me!" Pixal pointed to her chest.

"Not everything." Zane said.

"Do you remember when we followed Garmadon back in time?" Zane asked the ninja. The boys nodded except for Lloyd.

"Uhhhh... We did?" Lloyd asked.

"You don't remember Lloyd, because when we returned to the present, it had been altered to what we had done in the past!" Zane explained.

"I remember, because I was there." Garmadon spoke up.

"You used the golden weapons time destroy my mega weapon!" He said recalling the events.

"When they collided, they were shot into--"

"Space." Wu finished.

"Since Lloyd gave away his power, the Overlord's going after the only thing that can turn him into the golden master! The golden weapons!" Nya said.

"Is anyone gonna explain to me what the mega weapon is?" Lloyd asked.

"That's irrelevant." Morro said looking into the sky through the parted clouds.

"Quick! Where did the serpentine study the stars?" Garmadon asked.

Zane rushed to a computer and started to type. He smiled as the results came up.

"The ancient city of Ouroboros." Zane said.

"We must go there at once!" Garmadon said determined.

"How do you I now nindroids will be there?" Wu asked his brother.

"Faith."

"Mmm! Mmm! MMM!!" Kai said in muffled screams. He was chained up to dangle just underneath what was a large thruster engine.

"Hm. Hope you like barbeques, because we're about to have one!" Pythor exclaimed slithering up to Kai.

"MMMMMM!" Kai tried to yell.

"One barbequed ninja, well done please!" Pythor shouted in triumph.

The ninja grabbed their vehicles and sped to the city of Ouroboros. Pixal and Nya had collaborated on a jet for Morro to use so he wasn't just with his glider. It was a narrow and quaint jet, fit with Morro's colours of sage and silver, marked with his symbol and tailored to his liking.

"Prepare lunch! Oh, sorry, I mean launch!" Pythor said menacingly as he entered the command deck with the overtaken Cyrus Borg.

The ninja entered and stopped at the center od the ancient city, one that held many memories.

"How was that for your first jet?" Jay asked.

"Shut it, Jay, and focus." Morro said jumping out of his cockpit.

"I don't get it. Where are they?" Cole asked looking at an empty center.

"He said they would be here!" Lloyd said.

"Ah, well your dad was wrong! We should have never listened to him!" Jay shouted. The ground started to shake as the ninja came to the center.

"I sense you are mistaken." Zane said.

The ground beneath the five ninja split in four and started to fall slowly.

"Everyone, run!!" Cole shouted.

But, they couldn't make it out in time. Instead, they all fell down below the ground and into a chamber? It was a long fall but Morro was able to slow everyone down just before they hit the ground.

Jay looked up.

"Arcturus." He read.

"Ha! A rocket! Just like I said." Jay exclaimed.

"Ah, it's Kai!" Loud shouted.

"Lloyd, quiet! We need try and stay unknown that were here." Morro said standing up.

"But, look!" Lloyd pointed down. The ninia had fallen onto a catwalk and saw kai dangling under a thruster.

"We need to save him!"

"No, we need that launch key to stop the launch command!" Zane pointed to the control room.

"If the Overlord gets the golden weapons, hell be too powerful!" Zane exclaimed and lead everyone to the room.

Pythor looked up and saw the ninja running to get the key.

"STOP THEM!" He shouted the order. Immediately, nindoids fired at the ninja and blew up the catwalk. Everyone but Lloyd fell down, as the green ninja held on to the remaining path.

"So much for stealth." Morro said taking out his staff. The nindroids ran at the ninja. As they were preoccupied, Lloyd jumped to the control room and just barely made it.

Kai finally did something and broke one of his chains. Lloyd was about to take the key when Cyrus Borg came down from the wall like a spider. Creepy. He knocked Lloyd away and Pythor entered.

Kai flared up his fist and shot fire at the nindoids attacking his friends. Zane froze some of the fallen ones in place. Jay overcharged some of them with his lightning.

"Retreat!" Cryptor yelled. The nindroids followed Cryptor up a ramp.

Morro did his wind cutter move to try and stop them.

"Shoot!" Morro said as he just missed.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going?!" Cole yelled and chased after the nindroids. Cryptor lead them all into the rocket and closed the entrance.

"Ehh. It won't budge!" Cole yelled.

"Everyone! I need your help!" Lloyd's cry echoed. The ninja looked up and saw Lloyd being dangle off the edge of the control room by Borg.

"Oh, little boy. Needing help. Shouldn't have given up all that power, hm?" Pythor turned the key.

T-minus 30

"Uhh oh..." Lloyd looked down.

"AAAAAAHH!" He yelled as he was dropped. The ninja got kai down completely, and him, Zane and Jay caught Lloyd's fall.

"I need to get back up there!" Lloyd said.

"Forget that, we need to get out of here!" Cole shouted.

"But what about the golden weapons?" Lloyd asked.

"Ah, there's more oressing problems. Like an entire rocket ship PRESSING ON US!!" Jay yelled.

"We need to do everything in our power to make sure the don't reach those weapons!" Lloyd ran up to and entrance he saw.

"Are you nuts?!" Cole shouted.

"Ninja don't belong in space!"

"I'm with Cole! This is even beyond me!" Jay added. Lloyd climbed into the opening. Zane followed.

"We have to try!" Lloyd said.

"You said nothing was ever gonna separate us again, well, I'm going!" Lloyd gave and intense stare.

Morro walked beside Lloyd.

"You too?" Jay asked.

"What are we supposed to do? Wait for them to come back with it? If this is the way to stop it, this is the way we stop it!" Morro said. Kai climbed in too.

"AWWW WHY ARE ALL THE SMART PEOPLE GOING ALONG WITH THIS?!" Jay screamed.

"Are you with me? Or not?" Lloyd asked.

The countdown reached 0 and the ship took off. Nya just arrived with the others on the team to see it go.

"They're too late." She said.

"I'm reading Zane's signal aboard that rocket ship." Pixal informed.

"Along with 5 other life forms."

"Oh, by the grace of the first spinjitzu master..." Wu said.

"You wanted them to take risks! To see grow far they'd go!' Garmadon said enraged.

"Is this what you had in mind?! How far?! How far must they go?!"

Wu looked up at the rocket entering the sky.

"Come back safe to us, ninja. Come back safe."
