《Lilac's Lies》33

Roman was clearly stunned into silence, judging by the way his mouth opened, but no sound came out.
I ran my hand along his chest until my fingers landed on the bare skin of his neck. His eyes were turning darker by the second, and even though he moved his hands and placed them on my waist, he still didn't say anything.
"You can't keep lying," he muttered, his words barely above a whisper.
"I know," I said, but at the same time, I knew I wouldn't be able to stop. I could never stop lying, unless the secrets all came out on their own. And if those secrets came out on their own, well, I'd be likely in jail, anyways.
"How can I trust you?" Roman asked me, his eyes weren't even bothering to flicker back up to my eyes now, they remained on my lips.
"You can't," I told him. I knew I couldn't stop lying completely, but I could be honest about some things. And honestly, he couldn't trust me, and I think he knew that too.
My hand wrapped around his neck, my fingers curling around the back of it. I inched my face closer to him, slowly, until our lips were so close that they were almost touching.
"You can trust me," Roman surprised me by saying, and I wondered why he felt the need to. I never felt I couldn't. Though, I wondered what he meant by it. What could I trust him with? My body? My feelings? The truth?
"I'll treat you how you should be treated," Roman continued, and when he spoke, our lips touched. Just barely, enough that his lips tickled mine, but not enough that they connected. "I'll show you what that looks like, to be cherished."
I stared into his blue eyes, absorbing his words directly into my chest, which was swelling now. With lust, and with hope.
His hands were moving, slowly inching up my until they were laid flat against my back. He applied pressure, as if he was pushing me further towards him. The problem was I didn't have anywhere else to go, I was already completely pressed against him.
"Did you mean what you said?" I asked him, feeling my voice become what could only be described as breathless. "The girl of your dreams thing."
Roman's mouth changed, a smile coming to the lips that I could barely see because we were so close together. "I don't know how you could doubt it. You've been the girl of my dreams, you are the girl of my dreams, and you'll forever be the girl of my dreams."
"Then kiss me," I breathed, daring him.

And he took the dare, his lips pressed against mine, just like they had the other day. They were different this time though. They moved gently last time, slowly at first, before he strengthened the kiss. This time, I felt the desperation behind his actions immediately.
One of his hands moved to the back of my neck, pushing our mouths even closer together as they danced. Completely entwined we were, our lips moving as one coordinated movement. His hand buried itself in my hair, grabbing a fist full as he tugged the strands, gently forcing my head to tilt backwards. His lips moved down to my throat, placing messy kisses along my exposed skin. I closed my eyes as I took in the feeling, the feeling of shock his lips were leaving and the feeling of need that was growing inside me.
I felt both of his hands leave my body, for split second before I felt them just below my ass, kneading against my thighs. I didn't have a second to appreciate that feeling before he swept my legs out from under me, effortlessly wrapping them around his waist. His lips immediately caught mine again, resuming our broken kiss and I felt his legs begin to move under me. Roman didn't even seem to feel my weight as he effortlessly carried me, and though my eyes were closed as we kissed, I didn't need to see to know where he was taking me.
My suspicions were right, it seems, as I was gently placed on a bed. I barely glanced around his room, seeing the same minimalist furniture that was displayed around the rest of his apartment, before he kneeled on the bed in front of me, between my open knees. He placed his hand on my face, his thumb gently stroking my cheek.
"How are you feeling? Is this okay?" Roman asked me, his voice taking a softness I have never quite heard from him before.
"It's better than okay," I told him, and to show him just how okay it was, I grabbed the hem of his sweater that I was still wearing, pulling it over my head. His eyes widened when it was removed, they scanned over the revealing dress that Jesse bought me. Though, they didn't look with appreciation as I was expecting.
"I don't like this dress," Roman muttered, his finger reaching out and tracing the revealing neckline. I shivered at his touch, swearing that it was leaving goosebumps as it traced over the swell of my breast. "It's purple, you hate purple."
"I don't like it either," I agreed, a grin forming on my lips, "What should we do about it?"

I didn't wait for him to answer, instead I reached around my back, tugging the zipper down. The front of my dress bowed, falling forwards without the constraint of the zipper. Roman's eyes looked down again, no doubt staring at the lacy bra I had just revealed. His hand traced my collarbone, and it was then that I saw the appreciation I was looking for. Though, appreciation might have been an understatement, because Roman's eyes were so dark now that his blue eyes were no longer bright.
"You were sent from heaven," he told me, his hand gently grabbed my chin, and he pulled me into him again. He pushed a kiss onto my lips, before breaking away again. "I'm so fucking sure of it. You're everything."
I reached my hands out this time, gently tugging on his shirt, hinting that I wanted him to take him off. He didn't hesitate, one of his hands pinching the fabric behind his neck and ripping it off in one swift motion. My eyes were the ones that dropped downwards now, floating over the muscles in his stomach. I reached my hand out quickly, tracing the ridges like I had wanted to do since the first time I saw him shirtless.
I didn't get to trace them for as long as I liked, however, before Roman used both hands to push against my shoulders. I followed his command instantly, laying back on the bed. My body sunk into the soft mattress, and I had to roll my lips together to prevent a squeal leaving my lips.
I had to prevent that, because one of Roman's outstretched fingers was tracing down my body. It went down my neck first, then between my breasts. His fingers hooked into the dress that was still hanging from my body. I straightened my arms as he pulled it, allowed the straps the slip off my arms. He pulled his finger down my stomach, dragging the dress as he went. Once his finger reached the top of my panties, I lifted my hips so that the dress glided off me, bending my legs out of it as he rid it from my body completely.
I was displayed now, laying in just my bra and underwear. My eyes were still focused on the ceiling, waiting for Roman's lips to come back to mine. I was disappointed, however, when a couple of seconds had passed and I hadn't felt his touch again.
I propped myself up on my elbows, raising my head to find him. He was still kneeling where he had been, but his eyes were moving over every inch of me.
"Give me a second, Lilac," Roman told me, once he noticed me looking at him, "I need time to appreciate this. You're a work of art, and like a work of art, you need to be fully taken in."
A soft giggle left my lips, and I playfully rolled my eyes. "You've had enough time."
Roman shook his head, his eyes coming to look back to mine for just a second before returning to my body. "I don't think you realize how long I've waited for this, for you. It's like a dream, and if I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning and find out that none of this was real... well, I'm going to take my time."
I couldn't help but laugh at him, but not in a way that I thought his words were funny. I laughed because it's the only way I could express how happy his words made me feel. Finally, when he seemed to think he'd had enough time, he lowered himself onto of me, pushing me back against the mattress.
While his lips found their place on my neck once again, his fingers reached into my panties. Like he was an expert, he knew exactly where to go with them. It didn't take many of his perfectly placed touches before I was seeing stars in my eyes, biting down on my bottom lip as if to find an output for the energy that was rolling through me.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Roman asked me, once I had regained my breath and my body had stopped buzzing. Though I appreciated the gesture, it wasn't needed. I was completely sure, and as a response, I let my fingers travel to his waistband.
"I'm sure, Roman."
He moved his face away from mine, staring at me in a way that I could feel in my stomach before he rolled away, reaching into his nightstand. I shimmied of my panties, tossing them on the floor. I heard the sounds of the foil wrapper crinkle as he opened it, and a moment later he was back on top of me. My legs spread as I reached into his hair, tugging at the strands, pulling him closer as if I was telling him how impatient I was becoming. I was beginning to ache from the feeling of need I felt for him.
One of his hands went down to my hips as he pushed into me, the feeling causing my back rise from the mattress. Roman placed his hand on my chest in response, slowly reaching deeper within me.
"You're perfect, Lilac," Roman told me, his voice as low as I've ever heard it. "Don't ever forget how perfect you are."
