I had never really been attracted to boys at all, I had made up a few crushes in the past but I always made sure they were on unattainable people. Like celebrities or friends know one else knew. It was only earlier this year that I had really started noticing my attraction to girls, getting my first crush on my straight best friend. For the first few months I tried to play it off in my head as just being curious, but recently I knew that I definitely wasn't straight, so I tried to tell myself I was Bisexual because it would be less odd. I soon realized that I really wasn't attracted to guys as anything but friends. Once I had finally come to terms with it myself I decided to come out to my best friend. I had tried many times but I could never get the words out so I decided to bake a rainbow cupcake and put a note inside. She ended up swallowing the note and not noticing any thing. A couple of weeks later we were sitting on her roof during a sleepover and I told her there was a note in the cupcake and she guess it and gave me a hug. She has asked me a few questions but nothing invasive. Recently I got a lesbian pen pal from New Mexico and she is helping me to talk about it and I am going to come out to my other friends this weekend.
