My coming out story starts out very simple, in a car.

I was scared. I was planning this day like it was my wedding. Just the day before me and my boyfriend (now ex) had just gotten together. I was so proud of myself. Until I thought about my parents. What would they say?

We were driving home from my babysitters (I was 13 at the time, I'm now 15). We were halfway home when I finally spoke.

"Mom?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you care about my sexuality..?" I had asked her, and she could tell fear was in my voice. She unfortunately had misinterpreted it.

"Bisexual? Honey I wouldn't care if you were out there with a man! I will love you no matter what. In fact, I heard that your dad had once kissed a guy during a drunk truth or dare game. It doesn't matter! Family will not shame you no matter what," She glanced over at me in the passenger seat. My heart fluttered at the words she said.

"Well because I was talking to (I'm not going to say his name) and I finally told him I had liked him for a while, and now we're dating!" I was smiling when she gasped happily.

"Wonderful! We should go see him soon, I'd love to take pictures!"

A few years had passed and I thought it was time to finally come out to my friends and family. (The ones that didn't know)

I had gone on my Facebook, and I typed, "I just want to say, I'm gay." And I had posted it. I got lots of love and wonderful comments! I was very happy.

Then me and my boyfriend broke up. I was upset, but I got over it as I was soon finding out I was bisexual.
