Allah (swt) said to Shaytan, "You won't be able to deceive my sincere and faithful Servants."

Shaytan himself has admitted that he isn't able to deceive them.

Certainly those who have faith in Allah and trust him at the time of hardships, Shaytan has no power over them.

If a sick person remains patient and have trust in Allah at times of hardships they'll be rewarded greatly. When someone is sick they aren't going to get rewarded just for being sick. It's patient and trust in Allah that will result in them getting rewarded.

Tricks of Shaytan

× "You're still young, Have fun!"

× "Life is long, you can experience anything you want so just enjoy!"

× "When you're angry, don't be calm as patience is for cowards!"

× "Everyone are doing these things, don't be strict and make your life exciting!"

× "Oh, You're very sinful! Allah will not forgive you, so continue sinning!"

Don't be fooled by these things! The above sentences can happen a lot. To make one become heedless and forgetful towards their goals , faith, and hereafter, etc.

The two weapons of Shaytan are Anger and Lust.

Shaytan is a Jinn who's made of fire. Before he got excluded from Heaven, He used to worship Allah (swt) a lot. Thus he became known as Azazel.

We shouldn't underestimate Shaytan's powers. He has abilities such as being invisible to humans, making sinful/filthy things seem beautiful in human eyes, trapping humans with Insinuating Whispers (waswaas), causing humans to sometimes forget things, etc.

Shaytan was excluded from Heaven and became an outcast. He tries his best to deceive humans with his Insinuating Whispers and take them to hell with himself. He uses many different kinds of tools such as deception, wickedness, secrecy and falsehood in order to deceive humans and other Jinns to help him with his plans against God and Mankind.

Therefore we must have strong faith in Allah and refer to the teachings of Qur'an, Prophet Muhammad (saw) & Ahlulbayt (as) and don't let Shaytan be able to easily trick and deceives us.

When they asked Shaytan to Prostrate (Sujud), it meant to accept the Wilaya of Prophet Adam (as).

Wilaya is the position of proximity to Allah that, according to some other people, is exclusive to the Prophet (as) and Infallible Imams (as).

They didn't mean nauzubillah (From Arabic نعوذ بالله‎ ("We take refuge with the help of Allah Almighty"), come and prostrate for Adam and say the zikr said in prostration for him. Because prostration (sujud/Sajadah) is only done for Allah (swt) except for Allah doing sajdah for anything else is Haram and a big sin.

No Arrogance!

One truly must know all glory belongs to Allah (swt), appreciate all the teachings that have reached us and been taught to us from holy Quran, our Prophets (as) Masters and Leaders, 12 Imams (as). And follow them with a humble heart. Really, what do we have from ourselves.

No one should be arrogant and think, they're ahead of others or things. Just have faith in Allah (swt) with a humble heart and put your trust in Allah (swt).

It's been narrated that Shaytan will be burned in the 4th stage of Hell!

But! There are some people who will burn in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stage of Hell which is higher punishment.

Like see...How bad are they!How evil.

There is another part mentioned, a man was committing a sin and when he was finished with his sin, he said, 'I Curse Shaytan.' And shaytan replied back to him, 'Curse your family and your entire ancestors, I was thinking for 2000 years, and couldn't come up with the sin that you just did.

This is dangerous!

Sometimes we watch scary Movies that makes us feel uneasy for a while and especially at nights. This can affect us to the point of not being able to do our night prayers as we're afraid to be the only one awake and praying at night since the images of that horror movie or anything else that we did still haunts us. This is one of Shaytan's traps as he makes us feel afraid for no reason. We must be careful in these situations and pray to Allah to help us. And we shouldn't watch horror movies like that in the first place.

✦⋆· Prophet (saw) narrated, "Moses (as) was once sitting down somewhere when Shaytan approached him ... Moses asked him, 'So inform me about the sin thar if the son of Adam (as) were to commit, it would give you mastery over him.' He replied, 'When he feels proud of himself [for a particular action], and continues to perform that action, deeming his sin insignificant."

✦⋆· Imam Ali (as) said, "I praise Allah and seek His aid against the acts that led to Shaytan's banishment and his eviction, and [I seek] His protection from his snares and his deceitful ways."

● "Sitting in the company of people who are driven by their base desires is the key to obliviousness of one's faith and is the very seat of Shaytan's presence."

● "Increase in your supplication and you will be secure from Shaytan's force."

● "Be on your guard against the enemy who covertly penetrates into your hearts and secretly whispers into your ears."

● "O Kumayl! Verily Shaytan does not threaten them in his own name, rather he threatens them in Allah's name in order to cause them to disobey Him, and thus he entangles them in difficulties."

● "Shaytan takes charge of him [the servant] and glamorizes the sin to him in order that he commit it, and makes him indulge false hopes of forgiveness in order that he delay it."

● "There are three types of temptation: the love of women, which Shaytan uses as his sword; drinking wine, which Shaytan uses as his snare; and love of the dinar and the dirham [symbols of wealth], which Shaytan uses as his arrow."

✦⋆· Imam Zayn al-Abidin (as) said in one of his supplications, "Were it not for the fact that Shaytan misleads them from Your obedience, no disobeyer would have ever disobeyed You, and were it not for the fact that he portrays falsehood to them in the likeness of truth, no strayer would have ever strayed from Your path."

✦⋆· Imam Baqir (as): "Guard yourself against Shaytan with true dread."

✦⋆· Imam Sadiq (as): "Iblis lays out his traps in the Abode of Delusion, intending to ensnare none but our friends [i.e. lovers of the Ahlulbayt]."

● Shaytan addresses his troops saying, "Sow jealousy and dissention between them, for verily these are tantamount to polytheism in the sight of Allah."

● "Shaytan's strongest forces are [mobilized through] women and anger."

● "Shaytan said, 'There are five types of people against whom I have no stratagem, whilst I have the rest of people firmly in my grasp: he who clings fast to Allah with a true intention and relies solely on Him in all his affairs, he who is in constant and abundant glorification of Allah day and night, he who pleases for his brother in faith whatever he pleases for himself, he who does not feel anxious about an affliction when it befalls him, and he who is satisfied with whatever Allah has allotted to him and does not worry about his sustenance."

✦⋆· Imam Kazim (as) was once asked who's one's archenemy is that one must fight, to which he replied, "It is he who is closest to you and yet harbours the most enmity towards you ... and he who provokes all your enemies against you, and he is Shaytan."

When Prophet Adam (as) repented & Allah (swt) accepted it, Shaytan wailed so loud that Angels in the heaven and on earth heard him and they all cursed him!

When Prophet Yusuf (as) ran away from Zulaikha, Shaytan cried out loud and Angels cursed him!

《3.》

During the event of Ghadeer khumm, when Prophet (saw) reportedly announced that "whomsoever to I am leader, Ali (as) is also their leader." Shaytan cried out of sadness and said,

"What am I going to do from now on!? What is the solution!?"

He then gathered his children and said to them, "Do your best and put doubt in people's hearts. Make some of them

deny his Imamat (Leadership) and his position!"

On the day of Ashura, he worked so hard and made Umar ibn Sa'ad attack and martyr Imam Hussain (as) & his followers. Then all Shayateen spread throughout the earth & sang out of joy. That's when Shaytan said, "O how I deceived humans and achieved my goal!

But when Shaytan found out about the position of Imam Hussain (as), the rank of his followers & visitors of his Shrine. He regretted everything he had done and yelled loudly and all Angels cursed him!

He then said, "It's the opposite of what I had planned, now more people are going to Paradise!"

When Prophet Muhammad (saw) was chosen as a Messenger of Allah (swt) and began guiding people to the right path and saving them from Hell & showing them the way to Paradise, Shaytan cried and screamed.

When Surah Al-Fatiha got revealed to Prophet Muhammad (saw), Shaytan screamed and cried, saying "This Surah will help children of Adam & their repentance will get accepted with this Surah."

Imam Sadiq (as) said, "When a human prostrates (Sujud) for Allah (swt) and makes it long, Shaytan screams loudly out of sadness and goes to a corner and starts crying & saying, "Shame on me! this servant of Allah prostrates for him and obeys him while I disobeyed him and didn't prostrate before Adam!"

The Believers visiting each other makes Shaytan so upset that he hits his face to the point of injuring his hands & face.

Giving Charity:

Prophet (saw) asked Shaytan, "Why do you try to prevent people from giving charity?"

He replied, "If they put a saw on my head & cut my head like a tree, it's easier for me to handle than people giving charity."

Prophet (saw) asked, "Why do you get this upset?!"

He replied, "Giving charity has 6 benefits: It Increases sustenance, cures patients, prevents misfortunes from happening, those who give charity will cross the bridge of Siraat with the speed of lightning, they'll enter Paradise without going through calculation and there is no punishment for them.

Prophet Muhammad (saw) said, "May Allah increase your punishment!"
