I've always been a supporter of the LGBT+ community but it wasn't until late-ish last year(2016) in my early teens that I started asking myself if I was part of it.

I had started doing harmless research on more of the sexualities and gender identities that exist and at first identified with pansexual.

I stuck with that for a couple of weeks and told one of my very good friends who was accepting, but it didn't feel completely right. I did some more researching and decided on grey ace but I also knew that I could only develop sexual feelings for someone if I was in a romantic relationship with them so grey ace became demi grey ace. Then I started to think about romantic attraction and told myself polyromantic.

After finding my sexuality and romantic attraction, I started on gender. I am a birth female but don't feel completely connected to that so I identify as demi girl and I'm a mix of female and agender. You could call me androgyne or bigender as well but I believe I fit in demi girl. The boys at my school laugh when I do stereotyped masculine things that I like, like sport and gaming.

In terms of "coming out"(I hate that phrase) I am not out at the moment. I know my parents and most of my friends would accept me but I'm still nervous and I feel like it isn't really that important especially because I generally( though not always) am happy being called by my birth name and pronouns although I would like it if I was called by they pronouns and a similar, more gender neutral version of my birth name.

So, that's my story. I just want to say to anyone questioning like I was a couple of months ago(and may again), you don't have to rush it, just be who you want to be and to anyone who knows themselves, you are valid and awesome.
