Don't own Naruto, only my twisted up characters... we all know that they are truly messed up.

Chapter 51 -
I think this chapter hates me u_u... That is all.
Sensei note: And yes, that is this chapter's title... I'm running out of ideas...
-----------------
"Uugh." Nala groaned as she slowly woke up, the back of her neck throbbing, and she had no recollection as to why. Or why she was lying on the ground, covered in dirt, in her normal tiny form, in the middle of the night, or extremly early in the morning, seeing as the full moon now beginning it's descend though the sky.
'What happened..?' She asked to no one in particular as she slowly stood up and shook her foggy head, trying to see if it would help, but all it did was make the back of her neck throb more. 'All I can remember is that Rin and I went to go and gather some fire wood... and then... nothi- WHERE'S RIN!?' Nala looked around while her heart was having a mini heart attack, realizing Rin wasn't in her immediate line of sight. Even though she called her Kitty-chan and pulled her tail occasional, she cared for the young girl. She only calm down a little when she caught Rin's scent, and found her a few meters away, passed out against a tree trunk. It looked like she had been throw against it, knocking her out, and the unfamiliar sent that lingered on Rin's cloak and the different scent on her fur told her she was right.
'So we were attacked. But by a group of people don't know." She thought as she gently rubbed against Rin, trying to wake her up, before coming to a halt. 'Wait.... It we were attack, and woke up several hours later, then there's no way Harmony would have not noticed!' Without a second thought she felt the buzz of chakra run though her veins, making her grow to her largest size and bite down on the back of Rin's cloak, flinging her onto her back. When Nala was sure that she wasn't going to fall off any time soon her took off in the direction where they had came, where she last saw her partner, hoping for anything but the worst.

What greeted her was their 'camp' for the night deserted, their bags and scrolls lying on the ground where Harmony had left them. She gentily slipped Rin off, who was now beginning to wake and walked over to where Harmony's stuff was, before suddenly stopping, recognizing the scent that lingered around where Harmony should have been. It was the only scent Nala thought smelt worse than a skunk. The scent of a Sparrow who had a death wish but refused to die.
She felt her lips curl up, showing her fangs, releasing a low growl, before walking around the camp a little, finding the two scents she found and two more unknown. Just like the two that Nala had found on Rin and her, these two, Kotori's, and Harmony's where slightly stale and where all mixed together, Kotori's with Harmony's more so. What was even worse was that even though the scents where a few hours old, Nala could still tell where they went after they had been here. They went to the same direction that the three had came from, the Hidden Leaf Village.
"Kitty-chan... What's going on? Where's onee-chan?" Rin asked as Nala was stalking around their 'camp' her nose close the ground and a low growl coming out of her throat. Rin didn’t have a clue what was going on, but one thing was clear, her older sister wasn't here, and it scared her. She quickly walked to Nala, holding her cloak close around her and rubbed one of her eyes tiredly. Nala stopped pacing a rubbed her head against Rin's side.
'Don't worry. We'll find her. Now grab all of our stuff and hop on. We have to go back.' Nala told her. Rin nodded her head without complaint and packed all of Harmony's stuff into her bag before looping her arms though the straps, saying nothing about the weight before walking back to Nala. 'Ready?'
Rin nodded her head again and slip onto Nala back, clenching her fur tightly in her hands, but even the sight pain that it caused, it didn't register in Nala's mind, her only thoughts where how she was going to rip the people who attacked them to shreds and save Harmony from the damn sparrow.
~~~~~ A few hours ago~~~~
After Sasuke had knocked Sakura out and placed her on the bench he couldn't help but pull out the kunia's he had found on his table with a note, explaining that Harmony had left for training. As he ran his fingers over the Uchiha symbol that hanging off the end he also couldn't help but think about what she had said in her note.
' I'm going to be training outside the village for a while, and I'm going to miss you dearly, after all, we are the misfit squad 7... '
What a joke that was. She knew she wouldn't get any stronger if she stayed in the village anymore, so she left. Just like he was right now. He put the kunias away when he reached the wall and then ran up the side, greeted by the sight of Kidumaru, Jiroubou, Sakon, Tayuya, and two more people. A guy that had short brown hair that was kind of spiked and was wearing a brown shirt and simple jeans and a green jacket that had fur on the hood and a hidden Sound forehead protector on his forehead and someone else who was a little shorter than him, but was covered in a deep green cloak that almost looked black and had the baggy hood up, blocking their face rom his sight. They both stood slightly off to the side, but the boy was looking at him with a smirk and had one arm wrapped around the middle of the cloaked person, who had their head angled away from them all. Something about the boy was familiar, and he had to guess by the way he was holding the other that 'they' was a 'she'.
"We've been waiting for you... Sasuke-sama." Sakon told him when Sasuke turned his attention to the original four with a glare.
"What are you doing here?"
"When we left our village, it was decided for you to be our new leader... Please forgive our rude welcome." Sakon said, looking a little mad that Sasuke was their 'leader' now.
"I don't care about that. Let's get out of here. But first, you two. Who are you." Sasuke said, asking the two that stood to the side. The boy's smirk widened.
"Kotori Maiagaru. It's nice to finally meet you, Sasuke." Sasuke's glare deepened when 'Kotori' said his name. As if reading his mind, he carried on. "Frankly, I'm a little sad that I haven't gotten the chance to meet you sooner, but you're fight during the chunin exam was very... Electrifying. Don't you agree, Harmony-chan?" When Kotori said that the cloak person finally turned, her eyes almost glowing as she glared at him, fury simmering in her amber orbs.
Shock would have gone through Sasuke's body if it wasn't for the fact that he had gotten rid of all most all of his emotions but hatred. The only time he had seen her angry was the one time during the Land of waves and then when she fought with Kakashi before the third part of the chunin exam. And both times her eyes seemed to hold an eerie light in them. But one thing he did noticed was different now was that she was taller now. That and she had a gag covering her mouth so she couldn't talk and nasty bruise on the right side of her face, like she had gotten punched and when the wind blew Sasuke saw that each of her wrist had a seal on them, as if trying them together in front of her, restricting her. She wasn't here willingly, she was Kotori's prisoner.
"Humph. Let's go." He said as he walked past them and stood in the middle of the sound four, no longer interested in why harmony was here. If she was weak enough to be captured she wasn't worth his time. "It now begins."
"Oi. Freak shows. Do you think we are finally far enough t from that stupid village now? Kotori asked them after a few hours of running, and for a majority of the time he had to carry Harmony because she had refused to run... either that or could not move anything faster than a slow walk.
"Well, we could have gotten farther than this if that damn bitch that you just had to grab could at least run! I mean, is she slow just physically, or mentally too?!" Tayuya snapped at him as they all stopped and dropped down from the trees to flat ground. Kotori glared at her a threatening look.
"You should watch that sharp tongue of yours, Hōn. We both know what will happen if you piss me off, even if I don't have that idiotic curse mark. And don't forget, it wasn't only me that wanted to take Harmony-chan along for the ride. Orochimaru-sama still wants to study her, so you are taking her with you. And the only reason she can't move fast is because Būingu's poison is still in her blood. It should wear off in a little bit." He turned and wrapped an arm possessively around her waist, making her give him such a cold glare that it reviled Sasuke's even. Her hood was now down because of the run, so everyone could really see her in the early morning light. Sasuke was right, she did look taller, but also her hair was longer, and she even looked older.
"Not that it will do much with those pretty little seals around her wrist." As he said that he looked at her with a smile, like he was telling her how much he loved her. There's was really no way to describe it but plain creepy, and everyone thinking that he was not mentally stable...
"Will you be leaving soon, Kotori-sama?" Sakon asked, getting Kotori's attention away from the fire-y redhead. He simply nodded.
"Yeah Futago-za. I think we are far enough and if everyone one is ready I will go on a head and alert Kabuto-san and Orochimaru-sama after it is started." He said, and then his smile turned cold and turned to Tayuya and Jiroubou. "Resurā, Kumo. You two make sure that Harmony-chan doesn't get hurt, or I'll burn you two to a crisp."
After he said that a 'tick' mark showed on Kidumaru's forehead, but he too didn't say anything, while Jirobou just glared. When Kotori saw that the two were not going to say anything he turned his ice-cold glare and smile to the other two.
"Futago-za, Hōn, don't think that it doesn't apply to you two as well. Both packages will be delivered. And don't think for a second that Orochimaru-sama will stop me if they are not."
"Why you! -" Tayuya growled at him, but was cut off by Sakon, who bowed he's heads a little.
"Of course, Kotori... Sama." He said, a little strained on the honorific, also displeased with what he was called. "We will start right away."
"What is it?" Sasuke asked him in a very Sasuke-like way.
"Well, we've got an important order from Orochimaru-sama. The last and final one.."
"I'm asking what the hell that is?!"
"You..." He began, his blue painted lips stretching into a devil-like smile. "Must 'die' once."
-----------Harmony's POV---------
"You should watch that sharp tongue of yours, Hōn. We both know what will happen if you piss me off, even if I don't have that idiotic curse mark. And don't forget, it wasn't only me that wanted to take Harmony-chan along for the ride. Orochimaru-sama still wants to study her, so you are taking her with you. And the only reason she can't move fast is because Būingu's poison is still in her blood. It should wear off in a little bit." Kotori told ' Hōn' as he wrapped one arm around my waist, making me once again want to shiver in repulsion, but that stupid poison had made my body even not be able to do that! I felt as if I was being held underwater with weights tied to me, but I also felt like there was fire running though my veins so every time I did move slightly I felt like I was being burnt to the core. I slowly turned my head painfully and gave him my coldest glare possible as I tried to not pass out from the sudden spike of pain when he touched me. Also, my head felt really foggy, like I was seeing things though a haze, and it was very difficult for me to keep my balance, so I was all ways swaying slightly, even when I was just standing.
A chilly early morning breeze passed by us, making my hair fly with it before setting back down to my shoulders. For a few hours now since my hood had been put down I could feel Sasuke's calculating glare on me, trying to figure out why I now looked the way I did. But I knew him, and the fact that I was now Katori's prisoner made me weak, and therefore not worth his time. And because Kotori and I stood a little off from the rest I could only see the side of his cold, really-needed-to-be-punched face.
'Bastard. You damn traitor. How dare you turn your back on our Village!' I cursed him yet again when Kotori had his attention had gone off of me and to one of the four, the one that he called 'Futago-za', and looked as if he had two heads. I was hoping that Suteki would comment on my thoughts, either agree with me or say something about 'How she wants to spill his blood' or something, but my mind was absent of all other voices but my own, and it scared me a little. Ever since I had been ambushed she hasn't said anything. It was like she was no longer there, or something was blocking her... Even though the thought that she may be gone scared me more than these people around me I refused to let anything but my anger show, so I often cursed them in my mind as a way to vent, but also to check to see if Suteki would reply or not.
"Resurā, Kumo. You two make sure that Harmony-chan doesn't get hurt, or I'll burn you two to a crisp." He said to the dark-skinned boy with a few too many limbs and the 'larger; orange haired boy. He then turned to the other two "Futago-za, Hōn, don't think that it doesn't apply to you two as well. Both packages will be delivered. And don't think for a second that Orochimaru-sama will stop me if they are not."
'The moment I can move again I am going to kill all of you!! You should never underestimate a shinobi of the leaf and a pissed off kunochi!!' I wanted to scream at him. How dare he call me a 'package'!!
"Why you! -" Hōn growled at him, but was cut off by Futago-za.
"Of course, Kotori... Sama." He said, a little strained on the honorific. "We will start right away."
"What is it?" Sasuke asked him in a very Sasuke-like way.
"Well, we've got an important order from Orochimaru-sama. The last and final one.."
"I'm asking what the hell that is?!"
"You..." Futago-za began. "Must 'die' once."
"You're tell me to... Die, once?" Sasuke asked as Futago-za dug around in his pockets.
'He's going for a weapon!! They're seriously going to kill him after we just ran for hours on end?!' I moved my arms slightly, and bit down on my gag, at try and see if the seal on my wrist that where binding them would lessen, but I would only granted with severe pain in my shoulders when I moved them, but because I had bit down on the stupid gag, I kept my cries of pain down as I struggled. And as I did my vision when from haze-y to double, and my head begin to spin. I only stopped when I saw that he had pulled out a small jar half-filled with small, dark-colours pills. When I settled down I notices that the jar was wrapped in the same purple rope that the four wore around there waist. I don't know who I noticed all of that though, seeing as I was now just trying to get my head to stop spinning like a merry-go-round on steroids.
'Weirdoes. Tch. My head bloody hurts!!'
"Seishigan. You have to eat this."
"Seishingan? The hell is that?" Sasuke asked, irritated by what was going on.
"Your current curse mark is only Level 1. That pill will forcefully increase the curse's level to Level 2." Hōn told him, almost like she was making fun of him or though he was stupid.
"However, the Level 2 seal will dramatically increase the contamination speed... If we don't so anything, you will die. In other words, in order to control the Level 2 power, your body needs some time to get adjusted to the Level 2 curse. With the Level 2 curse, you will probably possess the same level of strength as us." Kotori snorted at that under his breath and muttered 'but you're still weaklings' and gave me a arrogant smirk. I wanted to kick him in the shin, but I couldn't, so I tuned him out and kept listening to Futago-za. I took a few deep breaths though my nose when he talked, my vision starting to return to its haze-y way. It really sucked. I was so use to having such good eye sight! But at least my hearing wasn't being affected, so I could still rely on my ears in case my eyes miss something.
"When the seal is awakened to Level 2, there will be only a few minutes... Until you 'die'."
"What'll happen after I die?" Sasuke asked, he's ever-bored tone back. Futago-za began walking closer to him, holding the small jar out in the middle of the palm of his hand.
"Don't worry. That's what we're here for. Our barrier juts will reduce the side effects of the curse. It'll soften the effect of death to a temporary coma." He said as he placed the vial in Sasuke's hand.
"Your barrier skills... How reliable are they?"
"Hey, Sasuke-sama. We four are usually the elite guards of Oroichmaru-sama. See, so our strongest skills are creating seals and barriers." Kumo boasted. "We specialize in seals and barrier jutsus. That girl over there is a small example of what we can do." My ears picked up when Kumo began talking about the seals, hoping to find out how it works so I can break out of it. I lowered my head to make my hair cover my face so none of the others could see the calculated look in my eyes. "Those seals are draining all of her chakra as we speak, making it impossible for her to try to attack, as well as making it hard her to move, along with Kotori-sama's summoning's parallelize poison running though her veins. But if we really needed to, that seal also allows us control her body in any way we want, along with a few other things. Heh, there's no way she's getting away."
