"Good evening, gentlemen. How can I help you?" A waitress asks as Dallon and Brendon walk into the restaurant.
"We have a reservation under the name Weekes," Dallon says and he wraps an arm around Brendon's waist, as he sees how the waitress smiles at him.
She immediately starts blushing and just looks at the guestlist.
"I have a reservation for a table for 2. Is that right?" "Yeah, it is." "Alright. You can walk with me, I'll bring you to your table." "Thanks."
Dallon squeezes Brendon's side softly, making the shorter man jump a little.
When they get to their table, Dallon helps Brendon sit down before he sits down on the other side of the table.
They both order something to drink before Dallon leans closer to Brendon and holds his hands.
"I just wanna say thank you for being so patient with me, this afternoon. I let my emotions get the best of me, which I don't usually do." "No, it was okay, babe. I get why you were emotional. And there's nothing wrong with that."
Dallon just raises his eyebrows and he looks a little skeptical.
"I just don't like showing my emotions like that... It makes me feel kinda stupid." "Hey, crying doesn't make you stupid, Dall. I cry a lot and I'm not stupid, right?" "No, but it just makes me feel kinda weak."
Brendon just leans a little closer and kisses Dallon softly.
"It doesn't make you weak. Please don't think you are." "Thank you, love." "Of course."
The waitress comes back with their drinks and Brendon gives her a friendly smile.
The way she looks back makes jealousy course through Dallon's veins and he knows he shouldn't be so affected by this, but he hates it that this woman is flirting with his boyfriend, right in front of him.

He just holds Brendon's hands a little tighter and grits his teeth.
"What was that about all of a sudden?" Brendon asks, as soon as the waitress walks away and Dallon shrugs.
"She was flirting with you, Bren." "Oh." "I don't like it when people flirt with you because you're all mine."
Brendon blushes a little and looks at Dallon with a slightly mischievous look on his face.
"I'm all yours, daddy," he whispers and Dallon can't help but smirk a little.
"Yeah, you are. All mine, hm?" "Yeah, I am. I wish I was wearing one of your shirts, right now. They make me feel even more like I'm yours." "Aww, baby. That's cute."
Brendon blushes even more and Dallon smiles.
"You are the cutest." "Thank you..."
Brendon bites his lip and Dallon's look darkens a little before he pulls Brendon's lip out from between his teeth with his thumb.
"That distracts me, baby..." "I know, sorry."
Brendon sits back a little and just takes a sip of his wine.
"I love you." "I love you too. I really do."
Dallon also takes a sip of his wine and he looks at the menu, reading through all the choices.
"I haven't had Thai food in so long... I didn't even realize." "Well, now we're here! You can get all the Thai food you want." "Yeah, I can."
Brendon smiles at how happy Dallon seems with a little food.

After dinner, Dallon and Brendon just walk through the city for a while, until they get to the water.
Dallon just looks over at the water and the lights and he smiles.
"You know, I think my brother just doesn't understand that I am happy now and that that's all that matters. And I suppose that might be selfish of him, but I do not blame him. Where we grew up, homosexuality was a bad thing," he says in a soft voice and Brendon looks at him.

"It must've been hard to grow up gay, then..."
Dallon nods.
"It was. I was 15 when I realized I was gay, when I kissed a girl. Well, she kissed me... And I didn't feel anything. But then, while playing truth or date I had to kiss my best friend and I did feel something. And for years I thought I was broken, so I just started working on my company, so I didn't have time to think about those feelings."
Brendon frowns and nods a little.
"And then I saw you... And I knew I was fucked... I saw you and I just fell in love immediately. You looked so beautiful."
Brendon can't help but blush, but Dallon can't see it because it's too dark.
"And when you said you would go out for dinner with me, I swear that my heart was gonna jump out of my chest."
Brendon smiles at the memory.
"I just don't get how my brother wouldn't be happy for me... Just because I love a man. It's just weird..."
Dallon looks at Brendon know, who just leans closer and kisses Dallon.
"Your brother is just being dumb and close-minded. Just let him talk, okay?" "Yeah. I will. It's not like I'm just gonna stop loving you. You're amazing."
Brendon kisses Dallon again.
"And so are you."
