Later that night, Brendon goes to make dinner and Dallon sits down in the kitchen, just looking at his boyfriend.

"So, what are we eating tonight, babe?" He asks and Brendon turns towards him.

"I have lemon garlic salmon and stuffed potatoes. And on the side, I have a simple salad." "That sounds amazing."

Brendon smiles.

"I bought a subscription to one of those dinner box things, so I can practice my cooking, so I think there will be a lot of fancy meals, the upcoming weeks." "Well, it smells amazing, so I think you're doing a great job. And I can't wait to see all the other things you're gonna make." "Thanks, babe." "Of course."

They both sit in silence for a while, until Brendon looks up at Dallon again.

"Hey, babe?" "Yeah?" "I know it's a bit late because my birthday is in 3 days, but I don't want bagels anymore..." "Then what do you want?" "I don't know, croissants or something would be nice. But I accidentally asked my mom for bagels too."

Dallon smiles and nods, immediately having an idea.

"Alright, babe. I'll find something." "Thanks."

Dallon sets the table and grabs two wine glasses and a bottle of wine.

"I think this will really bring out the taste of the salmon," he says, as Brendon looks at the bottle and he smiles.

"Alright, babe. You know more about wine than I do." "It's not too hard, once you know how each wine tastes." "Ahh, you're secretly an alcoholic," Brendon jokes and Dallon just rolls his eyes.

"Of course."

Brendon puts some food on both of their plates before he sits down on his chair.

"Well, dinner's ready," he says and Dallon sits down too.

He pours two glasses of wine and hands one to Brendon.

"It looks really good, babe," he says, as he looks at the food.

"Thanks, I really tried my best."

Brendon waits for Dallon to take a bite and smiles widely as he sees the surprised look on Dallon's face.

"How does it taste?" "That's really good. You have to make this again in a few weeks when there are a few of my business associates coming over for dinner," Dallon says, with a smile on his face and Brendon blushes.

"It's that good?" "Yes. It's amazing."

Brendon takes a bite too and raises his eyebrows.

"I made that!" He exclaims and Dallon can't help but laugh a little.

"Yeah, you did." "This is so good! I can't wait to learn more recipes and cook for you."

Dallon smiles again and holds Brendon's hand.

"I think you just found a new hobby," he says and Brendon nods.

"Yeah, I love cooking already!" "that's great."

"You know what, I wanna take you out for a movie," Dallon says after dinner and Brendon smiles at him.

"Why?" "I don't know, I just feel like taking you on a little date." "Aww..."

Brendon blushes and Dallon grabs his phone, looking up movies that were currently in the movie theatres.

"Okay, so either horror or romantic comedy," he says and he looks up at Brendon.

"What do you think I'm gonna choose?" Brendon asks and Dallon smiles.

"Hm... I think the horror movie." "You know me so well," Brendon says and he pretends to wipe away a tear.

Dallon smiles and pulls him onto his lap, wrapping his arms around Brendon's waist.

"So, what about that rom-com, then?" "Sure, why not?"

Dallon kisses Brendon's temple and Brendon blushes a little.

"What's gotten into you, all of a sudden?" "I don't know. I'm just really appreciating the fact that I have such an amazing boyfriend."

Brendon wraps his arms around Dallon's neck and kisses all over Dallon's face, making the taller man smile.

"That's what I do to you, not the other way around," he says and Brendon giggles.

"I'm gonna get dressed for that date, now. I'll be back soon, babe." "Of course, love."

Brendon gets up and walks to the bedroom, while Dallon just looks at him, with a smile on his face.

When Brendon comes back, he's wearing one of Dallon's button-ups, loosely tucked into his pants and the top 2 buttons unbuttoned.

"You look amazing, babe." "Thanks."

Brendon grabs his phone, keys, and wallet and Dallon gets up from the couch.

"Let's go see a rom-com," he says and Brendon smiles.

"We don't have to go if you don't want to." "No, I wanna go, love."

Brendon kisses Dallon's cheek before they both walk to the elevator, to go to the garage.
