《His Precious Mate.》10. Sweater.

POV Alexander.
I woke up to soft music playing. I recognized the song as Me Rehúso by Danny Ocean, Mateo likes that song. The other side of the bed was empty, automatically my eyes searched for my mate.
I visibly relaxed when I spotted her dancing a bit. "Me rehúso a darte un último beso así que guárdalo. Para que la próxima vez te lo de haciéndolo. Haciéndotelo así, así, así Así como te gusta baby." She sang to herself.
I sneakily stood up from the bed and approached her as she put on her glasses. "Sin mirar atrás, sin buscar a nadie más." She mumbled.
"Sólo quiero estar contigo, uh-oh." I sang while hugging her from behind. She stiffened but relaxed when she realised it was just me.
"I didn't know that you were up already." She smiled while turning around.
"I woke up because of the music." I kept my hands on her waist.
"I'm so sorry! I thought, if I don't put the volume to high it wouldn't bother you. But you're a werewolf of course, an Alpha even." She rushed through her words.
"It's okay. I don't mind." I assured. "Otherwise I would've missed your show. I'd love to wake up to that every morning." Then I noticed what she was wearing.
"I'm sorry, I got cold and Gabriel told me to grab something of yours." She said, mentioning to my sweatshirt.
"Again, it's fine." I chuckled. "Mi casa es tu casa."
She replied fluently.
"Anytime." I smiled.
"You should get dressed, school starts in forty minutes." She informed.
"Alright, you just go get some breakfast."

I had a free period, so I went to my locker to switch my books. "Hey you!" Someone suddenly yelled at me.
"Yeah?" I whispered as I turned to face the two she wolves. I recognized them as Anna and Dana.
"Why do you have that scent around you?" Dana asked.
"What scent?" I asked.

"The scent of an Alpha." Anna replied, she stepped closer and sniffed me. "It's in the sweater and it's Alexander's scent."
"Take it off." Dana ordered.
"I- I can't." I shook my head, I only had a bra underneath.
"As his Luna, I demand you take it off!" She yelled and started pulling the shirt. Eventually she took it off for me and I quickly ran to the locker room, trying to cover myself.
I sat in the corner, breathing heavily. Great, two more bullies. Suddenly the door opened and a masculine shadow hovered me.
"Dayanara?" A deep voice asked. I cowered away, pulling my knees up to my chest. "It's okay." The shadow stepped closer. "It's just me."
A hoodie was held out to me and then I saw the guy's face, Mateo. I accepted the hoodie and he looked away as I put it on.
"Thank you." I mumbled. He helped me up and kept his arm over my shoulder as we walked. It was comforting but also a little weird. No one but Alexander has been gentle with me since my aunt passed away.
Mateo took my outside, sitting us down on a bench. "Dayanara, what happened?" He asked softly.
"There- There were these two girls." I stuttered. "She caught a scent on me, an Alpha's scent."
"Alexander's scent." Mateo concluded.
"His Luna forced it off me and then I ran." I sniffled as tears streamed down my face.
"Luna? Xander doesn't have a Luna." He said confused.
"She demanded me to take it off, as his Luna." I whimpered.
"Oh, preciosa." He mumbled as he pulled me in his arms. I sobbed into his shoulder while he was stroking my hair.
I felt a rush of anxiety come over me as I listened to my Spanish teacher. I was only there for extra credit.
What the hell? I thought as I suddenly felt sad and panicked.
'Those aren't your emotions, they're Daya's. You knuckle head.' Angelo groaned.

I stood up and went to find her but the teacher stopped me. "Going somewhere, mister Kingston?"
"The bathroom?" I replied.
"Nope, just ten more minutes." He shook his head, I sat back down with a scowl on my face.
'One of you find Daya.' I ordered Gabe and Theo through the mind link.
'I'm behind you.' Gabriel replied. 'We're in the same class.'
'I have her.' Theo answered. 'We're outside on the bench.'
'Don't move.' I demanded. 'I'll be there soon.'
The second the bell rung, I ran out of the classroom with Gabe hot on my heels. I threw open the doors and spotted them immediately. "Dayanara!" I called out while walking towards them.
She didn't even budge, she stayed in Mateo's embrace instead. He whispered something to her and they stood up.
"Why aren't you wearing my hoodie?" I questioned. "More importantly, why are you so sad and panicked?"
"Dana and Anna." Mateo stated, a low growl rumbled in the back of his throat. He's mad that they hurt his Luna.
"Are you okay, tesoro?" I asked, pulling her closer by the shoulders.
"I'm okay, Mateo helped me out." She nodded. I looked at him for a second and he just nodded.
"Do you want to go home?" I asked.
"No, I want to stay." She shook her head. I gave Gabe and Theo a look, they understood and walked off.
"Tesoro, tell me what happened?" I asked, putting my hands around her waist as I hugged her.
"This girl forced your sweater off me." She answered as she hesitantly wrapped her arms around my shoulders, leaning her head on my chest. "She said that she is your Luna."
I felt my body tense with rage. "Stay calm, Alexander." She said. "I'm fine, they didn't hurt me physically."
I was still fuming and my body started to shake. Angelo was fighting to come out. Daya pulled back a bit and looked me in the eyes. "Alexander, find your sanity." She whisper yelled.
I felt my eyes turning black, she's the only thing that could calm me. Without thinking, I sneaked my hands under Theo's hoodie. She took a sharp intake of breath and her heartbeat accelerated. After a few seconds she relaxed, knowing I wasn't going to harm her.
Unconsciously, I stroked her lower back with my fingers and her sides with my thumbs. I pulled her close and buried my face in her neck. She ran her hand through my hair as the other was placed on the nape of my neck.
"It's okay." She mumbled, leaning her head on my shoulder. But all I noticed was that her lips brushed my throat. It was making me lose control in a different way. I took one last whiff of her scent before pulling back.
"I'm good, Angelo calmed down." Because of his mate, I wanted to add. "Come on, lunch break is almost over." I said and we walked towards the cafeteria together.
"You go sit with Theo and Gabe." I told her. She nodded and walked to their table.
I stalked over to where Dana was sitting. "Yeah he gave it to me." I heard her giggle and her 'friends' awed. I rolled my eyes and slammed my hand down on the table.
"Give me the sweatshirt." I growled.
"What? But you gave it to me last night, remember?" She played innocent.
"No, I don't recall because I was at home, sleeping. And not with you." I stated. "Now give it to me."
"I don't want to." She shook her head. I grabbed both of her wrists and pulled her up.
"I am your Alpha! And I'm telling you to give me my goddamn sweater!" I growled, my face centimeters from hers.
She whimpered and quickly took it off, she had a shirt underneath, before handing it to me. I snatched it from her hands and went to my own table.
