《Persona X》Stage 2: Chisai University

Ikki wakes up from bed, takes a shower, brushes his teeth and puts on his school uniform.
After getting dressed for school, Ikki made his way downstairs where he assumed he would find Mana, but what he found instead was a sticky note on the fridge that said...
"Had to wake up early to go to work. Help yourself to the fridge and get to school. - Mana."
Ikki: Help myself to the fridge? Okay. Don't mind if I do.
He opens the fridge to see it nearly as barren as a dessert. The only things he could find were a few cans of beer and a box of curry with the "Leblanc" logo on it.
Ikki: Man, this is sad.
With little option, he tries the curry, which was still edible and also delicious.
After eating breakfast, he grabbed his backpack and headed for school. It was a 30-40 minute walk.
Continuing his way to school, he ultimately arrives at Chisai University.
But before he could enter the school grounds, some guy bumped into him, causing the two of them to fall into the ground.
The guy seemed as old as Ikki, and had the word "Trouble" written all over him.
Ikki: Oh. Sorry.
Guy: Hey, watch where you're going, asshole!
Ikki: Excuse me? You were the one that bumped into me.
Guy: Argh! I ain't got time for this!
The guy starts picking up his belongings. Ikki then when he looked closely, he noticed a a bunch of very... mature games. Ikki was able to recognize most of them, he also sees a notebook with the name "Suoh" in it. Then he decided to leave.
Suoh: Hey! Aren't you gonna help!?
Ikki: I gotta get to class.
Suoh: Damn it! Why you-
The guy quickly grabs his stuff and leaves in a hurry.
Ikki: (Man, I didn't think that guy was into that stuff. What a weird place.)
Ikki enters the school, while he was walking, he was checking on his phone, and bumps into a gloomy-looking girl.
Ikki: ....
???: Hey, watch where you're going.
Ikki: I didn't see you.
???: You didn't see me? Even though I was walking right in front of you? How about you get your eyes checked?
Ikki: What about you? Didn't you see I was in front of you?
???: I'm in a hurry.
Ikki: So am I.
???: Hey! Aren't you even gonna apologize?
Ikki: Whatever. Sorry.
The girl continues walking as if nothing happened.
Ikki: ...-_-... (Off to a not-very-good start...)
While continuing walking at school, he entered his new classroom.
Then he was called by his homeroom teacher Misaki Fukuhara.
Misaki: Class, this is our new transfer student. Now, would you like to introduce yourself?
Ikki writes his name on the chalkboard.
Ikki: I'm Ikki Inuzuka. Nice to meet you all.
Observing his classmates subtly, he notices the guy from before was also in the same class.
Ikki/Suoh: (Oh, great...)
Misaki: Now, where should you sit...?
Then a red-haired girl spoke up.
Girl: Fukuhara-san! There's a free sit over here!
Misaki: All right. So how about you sit in the far right corner next to Asaka?
Ikki: Sure.
He began walking to his seat. Then the girl named Asaka spoke up to him.
Asaka: You know, you didn't had to write your name on the chalkboard. Who does that these days?
Ikki: Sorry. I thought it was normal to do that.
After taking a seat, he took out his notebook and pen. He waited for the teacher to begin today's lecture. Then Suoh suddenly receives a phone call from an unknown number.
Suoh: (I don't recognize this number. Whatever. I can't answer this right now.)
Suoh hangs up, but then the ringtone came back louder, reaching Fukuhara's ears.
Fukuhara: What's that sound?
She notices Suoh on his phone.
Fukuhara: Terashima-kun! Are you on your phone right now?
Suoh: I-I can explain.
The ringtone can be heard again.
Fukuhara: Oh. You're getting a phone call? Shouldn't you answer that?
Suoh: It's fine. It was nothing important.
Fukuhara: If you says so. Just stop distracting the class, okay?
Suoh: I'm truly sorry.
The ringtones stopped, but Suoh's phone began glitching.
Suoh: (The hell? I just bought this phone, so why is it malfuctioning?)
Class continued on, then Asaka whispers something to Suoh.
Asaka: You shouldn't get distracted. We're in college, the teachers won't care if you fall behind.
That got him very confused.
Suoh: I-I'll keep that in mind.
Asaka: Also, you should get that phone of yours checked.
Suoh: I totally will.
Then after taking a closer look, Ikki notices what was going on.
Ikki: .....
Suoh: (Damn it... First that new guy and now this? Is my day cursed or something?)
Then, another girl barges into class while holding an Ipad.
Girl: Sorry I'm late!
Fukuhara: Huh? Oh that's right. Class, there's another transfer student joining us today.
Ikki: (Huh? Another student.)
Male Student: Man, she sure is cute.
Male Student: Think she's single?
For some reason, the student felt suspiciously familiar.
The student fixes her glasses as she introduced herself.
Agatha: My name is Agatha. Nice to meet you all.
Fem Student: Agatha? Is that western?
Ikki: (Wait... Agatha?)
Fukuhara: All right, let's see... Oh, you can seat next to Inuzuka-kun.
Agatha: Oh? That seat will be perfect.
Agatha walks up to her seat and whispers something Ikki.
Agatha: Who would've thought we've ended in the same class? Fate is an interesting thing, don't you think?
Ikki: ....
Later, the class ended and everyone began to leave. Ikki then gets called out by Fukuhara.
Fukuhara: Inuzuka-kun, may I speak with you for a moment before you go?
Ikki walks up to Misaki and Asaka.
Fukuhara: Inuzuka-kun, this is Airi Asaka, our school's student body president.
Airi bows down.
Ikki: You're the school president?
Airi: Didn't see that one coming, didn't you?
Ikki: It's a pleasure to meet you.
Airi: Likewise. I know it must be hard being a new student, but I promise you'll be alright.
Fukuhara: So, Asaka-kun, would you be so kind to show him around school?
Airi: It will be my pleasure!
Fukuhara: Now, I'm supposed to give you my number in case you need my help with anything.

Ikki: Okay.
Fukuhara then rips a piece of paper and writes her number in it. Mid-way she realized she made a mistake and scribbles it. Then she wrote her actual number. Then she hands it over to Ikki.
Fukuhara: Just whatever you do, please don't get any weird ideas.
Ikki: What are you talking about?
Fukuhara: You know exactly what I mean. Kids these days can be quite daring.
Ikki: Oh. Don't worry, then. I will only use it for emergencies.
Fukuhara: That better be the case. Or else suspension will be just the beginning.
Ikki: Sure.
Airi: Now, should we get going?
Ikki: Lead the way.
Airi: Then follow me if you please.
The two left the room. Fukuhara the looks at Agatha.
Fukuhara: Are you sure you don't want to join them?
Agatha: Oh. It's okay, I'm good... (Besides... I think it's best I keep my distance a little for now.)
Airi then started showing him around school. She was quite detailed in her explanations, whenever Ikki asked her a question, she would answer and be as clear and specific as possible.
However, when Airi tried to start a conversation with Ikki, it was a completely different story.
Airi: I heard you just moved to Yokohama. What do you think of the city so far?
Ikki: Not much.
Airi: Why did you switched schools?
Ikki: It was on a whim.
Airi: Are you interested in any after-school activities?
Ikki: I don't care.
After half an hour of walking, she was done showing around.
Airi: All right, we're done here. If you have any questions you can always ask the Student Council or the Principal's office for guidance, and if you get lost find a map.
Ikki: Sure.
Airi: Just one more thing.
Ikki: What?
Airi: There's been a lot of crimes happening recently. 99.5% of them are cyber crimes. I recommend you being careful with your private information.
Ikki: I will.
Airi: Now, may I ask you a question?
Ikki: Sure. What is it?
There was a straight look on Airi's face.
Airi: Do you by any chance....
???: Hey, you.
They looked to see the punk guy from earlier walking up to them.
Airi: What do you want, Terashima-kun?
Ikki: Terashima?
Airi: This is Suoh Terashima. As you may have noticed he's in the same class as us.
Suoh puts his shoulder around Ikki.
Ikki: Dude, personal space.
Suoh: So, mind if I talk to Inuzuka in private for a moment?
Ikki: Personal space.
Airi: We're done for the day, see you around.
She wanders off. Then Suoh's tone changed.
Suoh: Alright, ya coming with me.
Ikki: Sure, but can you show some personal space?
Suoh leads Ikki outside and to a storage shed. Making it seem like it was just a friendly walk to not raise any suspicion. When they entered the shed, Suoh grabs Ikki by the uniform and glares at him.
Ikki: Is this some kind of mugging?
Suoh: Speak up! How much did you see?
Ikki then recalls the R-rated video-games in Suoh's backpack that he found earlier.
Ikki: I saw enough.
Suoh: What's that supposed to mean?
Ikki frees himself from Suoh's grasp and leans against the wall.
Ikki: So those are the kinds of games you're into.
Suoh: I-I-I am not!
Ikki: I'm a professional when it comes to games. I know what I saw.
Suoh: Nani!?
Ikki: Slippery Girls 2. It's an erotic game about a boy who gets transferred to an all-girl school due to certain circumstances, he ends up creating his own harem even.
Suoh was stunned to hear that.
Suoh: W-W-What the what...!?
Ikki: Yup. The first game was great, it even got an anime last year.
Suoh: I'm sure someone just accidentally placed it here! There's no way that thing is mine!
Ikki: Then why did you freak out when I saw it and ask me how much did you see rather than trying to clear the misunderstanding?
Suoh: I don't know, the words just came out of my mouth. Look, I didn't bought this game, okay? I'm telling you, I'm being set up!
Ikki: Are you sure it's not yours? I really don't care if you were the one who bought it.
Suoh finally gave in.
Suoh: Fine, I admit it! I was saving up to buy the famous Persona game. But then I realized that I had spare money and just couldn't resist! Please don't tell anyone!
Ikki: Don't worry. I won't.
Suoh: I'm serious. If anyone finds out, my life is over!
Ikki: It's fine. Your life shouldn't end just because your into games like those.
Suoh: You promise not to tell anyone?
Ikki: It's a promise from one fellow man of culture to another.
Suoh: Thank you! Thank you so much! You're a life savio- Wait a minute, how come you know so much about these games?
Ikki: Well... like I said, I'm a man of culture, let's leave it at that.
Then suddenly, Suoh's phone began glitching again.
Ikki: What's up with your phone?
Suoh: I don't know. It's been going up ever since earlier in class.
Then, he receives a call from the mysterious phone number.
Suoh: This guy again?
Ikki: What's wrong?
Suoh: This is the same guy that tried to call me during class. I don't even recognize this number.
Ikki: Any idea on who it could be?
Suoh: No idea. Someone definitely had the wrong number.
Ikki: Well, then I guess all you can do is answer to see who it is.
Suoh answers the call, then his phone starts glitching even more. Then a female figure appeared on Suoh's glitching phone.
A.I: Hello, hello~!
Suoh: Huh!?
Ikki: .....

As the continent in its entirety is submitted to the absolute rule of an undead stories arise of inhuman creatures that led his majesty's armies to terrifying success. While the demon lord grasps the entire world in his hand, generals and comrades eleven of his most loyal and trusted serve as the extension of his will and power. Common world knows these beings only by their position's names. Fingers. Goblins goblins goblins... I hate those pesky creatures. Not smart enough to talk, but intelligent enough to kill. Well. In this world of madness where blood spills left and right fantasy creatures run rampart alongside crazed devotees of long dead gods all meanwhile the frickin Demon Lord is slowly gaining power in order to take over the world precisely without causing its immediate collapse, our little Gob will have quite a chance to find true strength and maybe even understand why humans often do stupid things for this weird word that starts with the letter "L". Who knows, maybe he will even get a better name than Gob in the process... The story is posted daily in short chapters (from 900 to 2000 words per chapter) The story is NOT an Isekai. It's a high fantasy story with isekai element's at best (Majin lord is a Majin after all). I spent some time to create a custom, magic system I hope to properly explore together with you my dear reader. So what are you doing? Go read those early chapters! The story is said to only get better after you drink it... I mean read it. Seriously. After 15 chapters you won't stop. I just feel like pointing something out. This is the story of a man that by chance of perhaps destiny thrives to become a magician capable of protecting the human race from the threat of the demon race. I do this for fun and to improve my writing, so feedback and constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. This story is also being posted on webnovel.com under the username Avner.
