《Persona 6: Fanmade redone!》Chapter 9: Prince Isas

Suki and Kimi stumbled into the hospital lobby where they found Jumin, sitting alone in a chair with his head down, tears in his eyes.
Suki sighed sorrowfully. "Oh Jumin..."
Kimi sighed and looked down the hallways, seeing many people being wheeled into the hospital, either in writhing pain or completely unconscious. It was horrid. The two girls walked over to Jumin and sat beside him. Suki gently began rubbing his back. He flinched in surprise and looked up.
"Sorry Jumin-Kun..." Suki said, removing her hand from his back.
Jumin shook his head slightly. "I-it's fine, Suki-San....I-I don't mind..." He whispered.
"How is he? Did they say anything?" Kimi asked.
Jumin sighed and shook his head. "N-N-no...they don't even know what's wrong with him...they don't want me in there at all...n-not even his family...his grandmother and sister came, but the doctor stopped them at the start of the hallway....told him he was so critical....h-h-he...."
Jumin began to choking on his tears again. Suki began to caress his back again as Kimi held his hand.
"What about his parents-"
"HIS PARENTS DON'T GIVE A SHIT!" Jumin suddenly snapped.
A nurse shushed him and he sat back down, his face flushed.
"I-I just...I..." He began choking on his own words. He stood back up, putting his hood up and shoved his hands in his pockets.
"W-where are you going?" Suki asked.
"H-home...I just...can't here right now..."
"B-but what about...you know?..."
Jumin stayed silent and just simply walked away. Kimi sighed and looked down, clutching her fists in anger.
"We have to do something, Suk. We can't just let Isas die!" Kimi exclaimed.
Suki held her hand. "We won't. And we won't let Jumin fall victim either...we can save them both."
She gave Kimi a reassuring smile. Kimi smiled back at her.
"Now, let's get going. We cannot waste time on this. Let's stake out that palace we saw and make a game plan from there."
Kimi nodded. "Alright! Let's go!"
The girls left the hospital, but Kimi stopped Suki.
"Wait, what do we tell Jumin? He deserves to know, doesn't he?" Kimi said.
Suki nodded. "He does...but we cannot tell him now...at least...not until we see what we're dealing with."
Kimi nodded in agreement. "Right. Not a word until we figure this out. Got it."

And the agreement would have been just between the two, if were not for Jumin, listening from behind the corner of the building the entire time.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suki and Kimi had just arrived at the waterfall, preparing to head in. Kimi had brought some very questionable weapons for them to use-actually, there weren't even weapons! It was a kitchen knife and a large piece of ply wood with rusty nails sticking out.
Suki took the kitchen knife instead of the blunt and possibly very dangerous "weapon", which Kimi decided to take.
"Alright, we ready?" Kimi asked.
Suki nodded, but seemed a bit uneasy.
"Something wrong?"
"I feel like...someone else is here with us..."
Just as she finished her sentence, they head someone moving around from behind the trees. They stood defensively, back to back with each other, ready to face whatever or whoever was behind the tree lining.
The being became closer and closer with every step, until finally it stepped out and the girls were already in attack mode when the being started screaming.
"NO!NO!NO! I SURRENDER! I SURRENDER!"
The girls stopped and realized it was Jumin.
"JUMIN?! What are you doing here?!" Kimi asked, a bit angered.
Jumin stood up and dusted himself off. "I followed you. You know something about Isas, don't you?"
The girls exchanged a look, both wondering what to tell him.
"How...how did you-"
"I heard you guys outside of the hospital....you were planning on keeping something from me..."
Kimi looked away as Suki looked down, ashamed.
"Jumin...we...we just wanted to help you...to protect Isas..." Suki mumbled.
"He's my best friend. I deserve to be able to protect Isas too. Please....what the hell is going on? And if it involves saving Isas, let me help...."
Suki looked up at him, staring straight into his sad, pitiful, almost teary eyes.
She sighed, not being able to handle the gulit in her gut any longer.
"Come with us then." She said bluntly.
Kimi turned her head towards her in surprise. "S-Suki!"
"He's right, Kimi. He deserves to know."
Jumin looked at the both of them, confused. "Know what...?"
They exchanged another look before Suki took Jumin be the hand and led him to the waterfall.
In Jumin's mind, two things were happening: one half was him preparing himself mentally for what was to come, and the other was going Error! Error! Error! Mostly because a cute girl almost as tall as him was holding his hand.
The trio were now standing at the edge of the falls. Suki looked up at Jumin, caressing his knuckles. "Okay Jumin...what you are about to experience is a bit..."different", I should say, but please try to keep composer..."
"O-okay..."
Suki nodded as she hesitantly leading him onto the water, fearing he would fall through.
But by some miracle, he didn't. He was walking on water just like them. His grey eyes widened in surprise and a bit of fear.
"W-what the-?!"
"Just follow us." Kimi said.
Jumin nodded as the trio ran head on into the waterfall and into the other world.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The girls landed safely on their feet while Jumin fell flat on his face.
"Ow..." He groaned.
He stood up and what he saw just a few feet ahead of him made his jaw drop.
"Woah..."
Just a few isles in front of him was a humongous castle of white and gold with many turents, all of it was heavily guarded with prison bars.
"Can't believe it got this big since yesterday..." Kimi breathed in disbelief.
Suki nodded. "It may be getting worse as we speak. Maybe this is its way of spreading..."
"What the hell is going on?! Where are we?! What is this?!" Jumin asked, annoyed and confused.
Suki looked over at Jumin and took out a small green notebook with all sorts of writings on it.
"We came here yesterday and found this, but wasn't as big as it is now. We saw someone that looked like Isas...but wasn't him. It couldn't have been him. So, I did investigating of my own. I came up with a few theories and came up with a somewhat plausible answer..." Suki explained.
"And that answer would be?"
Suki flipped through the notebook and read her findings. "Well, I believe he has a certain sickness. Everyone has
She pointed over to the castle in the distance. Jumin stared for a bit before understanding what she was trying to say.
"So..we get rid of the castle, we get rid of his sickness?"
Suki nodded.
Jumin gave her a look of determination. "Then let's do it. Let's go in there and save him!"
"Hold up, Jumin. We can't just barge in there without a plan!" Kimi exclaimed.
Jumin nodded and stepped forward a bit, examining the building with single finger on his chin. He pointed to the entrance.
"The gate's open there...I think there's another opening on the right and left....you two can go from there, I can go in from the front."
"What if there's something waiting for you in there? What if it hurts you?!"
"That's why you two are coming in from the sides. Now, do you wanna just sit here and do nothing or do you wanna go in and make the first move?"
Kimi let out a low growl, but agreed.
"Alright, let's go."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jumin opened the doors to the grand castle and walked in. The room was draped in red velvet curtains, pillars of gold, and two grand stair cases on the left and right.
That's where the girls are gonna come in...
"Well, what do we have here? An intruder?" A disembodied voice broke in.
Jumin looked up and saw...Isas. But it wasn't Isas. It was someone completely different.
The being that resembled Isas was wearing a small lopsided crown with a coffe brown cape with gold embellishments and fine suit of the same color, having a sinister grin on his face and burning yellow eyes.
"Isas...?"
The other Isas laughed.
Jumin growled. "Where's Isas? I know a part of him is here somewhere...he has to be."
"What? Why?!"
The other Isas sighed.
Jumin's eyes widened in surprise and shock. Friend? Anything less? Was Isas trying to say that...their friendship, he himself, didn't deserve to be in anything but less? Was this really what Isas thought?
Jumin carefully glanced from both sides, carefully watching as the girls crept behind him.
The other Isas chuckled.
They were all taken aback. Their position was given away! The only logical think to do was advance. They both jumped but the other Isas swift stepped out of the way and they fell down the stairs leading up to him, falling in front of Jumin.
Jumin knelt down and picked them up. "Are you okay?!"
Suki nodded. "W-we're fine."
"Yeah...easy for you to say."
The other Isas chuckled, snapping his fingers. Within an instant, a heavily armored guard appeared next to him.
Jumin stood his ground. "NO! I'M NOT LEAVING WITHOUT ISAS!"
And without another word, Shadow Isas snapped his fingers, the guard swang his heavy scythe in the air, bringing down a large chandelier. Suki and Kimi quickly dashed out of the way, but sadly, Jumin did not.
"JUMIN! NOOOO!"
The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?
