March 12th, 20XX
Isas paced the student council room nervously as he waited for the others to arrive. They already responded to the text he sent late last night that they would be there.
Oh, it was so nerve racking!
"Isas, why are you like that? I feel distress coming off of you." Yasahiro stated, amusing himself with his swinging feet in his long pants.
"I-it is just...you are somewhat of a secret. I would hate to phrase it like that but it was the only words I could find-"
Yasahiro smiled. "It's okay! I don't mind! I like being special!"
"You...do?"
"I think!"
Isas lightly chuckled. He then heard Kimi's voice a few feet away. He waited until they were close enough as to where he slid opened the doors and pulled them inside.
"Woah! Dude! Easy!" Jumin exclaimed.
"Isas, what the hell?!" Kimi shouted.
"I-I apologize. But it is urgent." Isas explained.
"That's me! I'm urgent!" Yasahiro exclaimed happily.
They all stared at him, puzzled.
"W-who's this?" Suki asked.
"I'm Yasahiro! I'm a shadow and I'm really happy to see you!"
Isas smiled nervously as the others gave him a questioning stare.
"This is a joke...right?" Kimi asked.
Isas sighed, shaking his head.
Suki's eyes widened. "Y-you mean he is actually a shadow?!"
"And he...has a persona..."
"WHAT?!" The trio shouted in unison.
Yasahiro threw out his hand to reveal a bracelet decorated in citrine gems.
"But-if he's-what?!" Jumin asked.
"I know! I do not completely how this concept works but-" Isas sighed, "Please...may we keep him? He's powerful and quite kind to let him be thrown out into the barren world!"
"Are you gonna feed him?" Suki asked.
"Yes."
"Are you going to take good care of him?"
"Yes!"
Suki nodded. "Alright, you can keep him!"
Isas smiled as Yasahiro squealed happily.
"Yay! New friends!" He exclaimed cheerfully.

"Yes, wonderful. Yasahiro, these are my dearest friends, Suki, Kimi, and Jumin!"
Yasahiro got up from the chair and walked really close to the trio. He first went to Jumin.
"You're Isas' best friend?"
Jumin nodded.
Yasahiro smiled. "You're so adorable! Isas must love you very much!"
Jumin was a bit taken aback, but smiled.
And then, he realized something.
Holy shit...he's so much shorter than I am!!!!!
Yasahiro then went to Kimi and observed her.
"You have Isas' eyes! Except so much lighter!"
"U-uh...yeah. I-I do..."
Does he get excited over every small thing?
Finally, he moved on to Suki, whom he was the most enthralled with.
"You...you are special...and I LOVE IT!" He squealed.
Suki smiled warmly. "Thank you!"
Yasahiro lit up and turned to face Isas. "Look! I did something good!"
Isas chuckled. "Yes you did, Yasahiro. Yes you did."
"I'm so happy!"
The others laughed.
"Okay, I think I can get used to him...but the question is what we're gonna do with him?" Kimi asked.
"Given that my parents are never around, he will stay with me. I was hoping we could all go to the shopping district and pick out clothes for him. Our first team bonding moment, I suppose."
"Sure! That sounds fun!" Suki exclaimed happily.
"Yeah, I've got nothing going on. " Jumin added.
"Then it's settled! We'll meet up after school with our new friend, Yasahiro!"
"Yay!" Yasahiro cheered, scooping them all into a tight group hug.
I'm already making friends! This is the best day ever!

After School
Iwate Shopping District
"A-Ah!" Yasahiro cried.
"My apologies! I did not mean to do that!" Isas exclaimed.
"Ugh! I thought you said this was gonna be fun and it ain't!" Kimi groaned from outside the changing room.
They had been in the store for at least an hour trying to help Yasahiro change into the outfits he had picked out himself-quote "like a big boy"- given that he was still in pain from his wounds, and it was taking a while trying to help him into the clothes.

"I-Isas..t-this hurts...!" Yasahiro cried.
"Okay! Okay, we'll stop." Jumin sighed, letting go.
"I-is this supposed to hurt really bad?" Yasahiro asked.
"Not usually. I-it only hurts because of your injuries." Isas explained.
"Are you guys done?! We wanna see Yasahiro!" Kimi shouted, losing her patience.
"Okay! Okay! Yasa-San, go show them you're clothes."
"O-okay!"
Yasahiro stepped out in a shirt with a pattern of stars and slightly loose jeans.
"You look cute!" Suki exclaimed.
"Seriously?! You guys spent 30 damn minutes trying to fit him into-"
Before Kimi could finished, Suki smacked a hand over her mouth, giving Yasahiro a thumbs up and smiling nervously.
Yasahiro lit up and gave her two thumbs back. The other boys chuckled at Yasahiro's cuteness.
But Yasahiro soon stopped as he felt extremely lightheaded and fell to his knees. Isas fell beside him.
"Yasahiro. Are you alright?" Isas asked with great concern.
Yasahiro groaned, gripping the sides of his head in pain. He could feel his head, pounding like a heart beat. He began crying.
He then shakily pointed up a straight ahead. The others looked up. Standing at the other side of the store and by a clothing rack, was the girl with the blue hair and the circle framed glasses. She seemed to be paying no attention to the group. She probably hadn't acknowledged their presence as she walked by.
Isas tilted his head. "You mean ?"
"Who?" Kimi asked.
Jumin pointed to her. "We went to elementary school together. I met her in the fifth grade. She doesn't really talk much...."
"S-sick." Yasahiro sputtered.
"?!"
The group was a bit surprised as to what he said. Was he talking about himself? Or Anzu?
"She...has somethin...somethin inside...she's sick..." Yasahiro explained.
The group exchanged a look with each other before looking back at Yasahiro.
"Are you absolutely sure about this....?" Isas asked.
Yasahiro nodded. "Yes..."
Isas nodded, believing his words. He turned his gaze to Anzu. She seemed fine, just simply searching through the clothes rack. But not even a millisecond later, her nose began to bleed.
Again? Really?
"Damnit..." Anzu muttered. She pulled her sleeve higher to cover her nose a stop the bleeding and quickly walked to the nearest bathroom.
Isas' eyes widened as he looked back down at Yasahiro.
How did he-?!
"Th-That doesn't prove anything!" Kimi exclaimed, obviously freaked out, "How can we REALLY be sure?"
"We go and check it for ourselves." Suki replied.
"What?!"
"Kimi, this is obviously going to happen to more than one person. The Toxic Isles have proven that. I have obviously proven that. You have done it before, so there should be no harm." Isas said.
Kimi growled before reluctantly agreeing. "Fine! But I'm telling you, this ain't what's happening here."
"I-Isas...? I feel sick..." Yasahiro whined before reaching for the waste basket in the dressing room and vomiting in it.
"Let's go a little later."
"Yeah..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A little while after Yasahiro was feeling better, the Quaran-Team traveled into the Toxic Isles, traveling deeper into the wasteland.
Yasahiro was clinging to Isas in fear and a bit of pain as they searched the deeper depths.
Kimi groaned. "See?! I told you guys, there's nothing here!"
"We can not leave this place until we have checked all areas accessible to us."
"But we've been at this for an hour! Just admit it! There's-!"
Yasahiro suddenly began to squirm, his eyes glowing yellow. He let go of Isas and ran, jumping onto another isle.
"Let's go!" Suki commanded.
They ran after him. Yasahiro kept running, occasionally looking back to see if they were following him.
Finally, he stopped, his eyes returning to green as he fell to his knees.
"Yasahiro!" Isas shouted, running towards him.
But he stopped dead in his tracks, along with the others. They all stared in awe and fear at what they were faced with.
