I wake up feeling drowsy and tired. I found myself in a blue room, like a hospital room. I am lying down on a bed and there was a desk in front of me. On the table, I see a long pointy man and to his left a woman in a blue uniform. She was holding a clipboard with some papers clipped on it. Her hair is white and long, that reaches until her waist. Some of her hair covering her eyes. The long pointy nosed man clasped his hands.

"Welcome to Velvet Room, a place that exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. I am Igor, servant of Philemon and master of the Velvet Room." Igor gestured.

"And to my right is Annabelle, my assistant and resident of the Velvet Room." She then bowed.

"We shall guide you through your journey. Are there any questions?" Igor asked. I kept silent. I didn't know what to say or ask. I looked at both of them, my expression was not confuse but calm. Like it was normal, like I already knew it was inside me. I looked around me. It is a hospital room.

"The Velvet Room is only opened to those who have signed a contract." Igor said. Contract.... Why can't I remember, when did I.... I then looked around.

"Are you curious why is this place replicated the image of a hospital room?" Annabelle asked. I nodded.

"It is because it reflects the guest invited to this room." Igor said. A reflection...

"It reflects what future the guest would have." Igor then continued. Future.... So this is what I get.

"It could be called as rehabilitation, in a sense." He clasped his hands back.

"Well then, I should not keep you here longer. Next time, you shall come here to your own accord." He then hand me over a key.

"This is the key to the Velvet Room. You would be able come here on your own free will. Now then, it is time to say goodbye." My memory began to fade.

"Till we meet again......"

"Huh?" I woke up to what seems like an eternity. I sat up, stretched and checked the time. It was 7:50 a.m.

"Huh, what was I..." I remembered that I was in the Velvet Room. That long nosed person, Igor and Annabelle are residents in the Velvet Room and they will help me? I still don't quite understand. For now, I went and took a bath and prepared for school. The school attire was really nice.

The school uniform was different from what I used to. I wore a gakkuran uniform, if I remember. Its my first time wearing a blazer. I put it on and had my green cat eared jacket underneath the blazer. I checked my bags and went out of my room. Aunt Tae was cooking breakfast.

"Hey, you want breakfast?" She asked.

"You can cook? The 'Plague' can cook??" I asked, and insulted her. She glared at me, I backed off and apologized.

"Anyway, here you go." My notification rang, she had sent me the location of the school I'm going.

"It's called Seikawa High (Fan-made) . Its a pretty good place and brand new." She said. I checked the distance from here. Its a ten minutes walk from here. I ate breakfast like usual.

"I'll be the judge of that..." I said. I went to the door and wore my school shoes.

"I'm going." I said. I went out and headed for the school. My aunt didn't have any time to say goodbye.

"Haaa.... As dead as ever. He still holds on to that jacket,huh?" She said, leaning on the walls.

While I was walking, I saw some students who had the same uniform as me. Some were walking and reading, others talking to friends that haven't meet for a long time and the rest just walking to school with a bored expression. I checked my phone, it was 8:15. I was almost there. Once I reached it, I looked towards the school. It was big with the gate opened up and students going into the school. Leafs were blowing in the sky, and a cool breeze cold be felt. A teacher was outside of the entrance, keeping watch. I went inside and headed towards the shoe locker. I changed my shoes and headed towards the faculty office. I was a bit lost at first but I managed to get there by asking some people. I accidentally bumped into somebody. I fell down.

"My bad.." I said. Scratching my nape.

"Nah, its my fault." He helped me to get up.

"Haven't see you around here? You're new?What your name?" He said.

"Ryu Himuro." I bowed a little.

"My name is Kaidou Sonezaki. Nice to meet you." He wanted to shake hands. We shook hands and broke off. He went past me and said...

"I'll see you again!" He ran off towards his other friends.

"Yeah..." I just replied. Suddenly someone else walked towards me. A girl.

"You better be careful. That guy is the number one thief in this school." She said. She had a pony tail that was shirted to the right side of her head. Her hair colour was yellow, like a gyaru. I didn't mind it.

"I see..." I checked my pockets and everything else. Nothing got stolen.

"Huh, that's weird. I guess he usually don't steal from the new kids. Anyway, my name is Rei Yamauchi." She walked towards the stairs.

"Yours?" She asked. A bit impatient.

"Ryu Himuro." I replied.

"I see... See ya!" She waved at me. I then walked into the faculty office I went to the teacher I'm suppose to meet. She looked like my aunt in a sense. She wore a black office skirt and a white blouse. I guess teachers have different taste.

"You must be the new student. I'm Iko Toyama. Call me Miss Toyama. I teach mathematics." She said. She then took a file with a lot of documents inside. It must be a documents about me.

"Let's see... Accused drug addict... Parents had to divorce. I'm sorry does this bother you?" She asked. For some reason she looks normal with this. She isn't like the other teachers, who treats me differently from the rest.

"Nah its alright." I said. I was quite used to it already.

"And before that sign this, today is the second day of school just so you know." She said. I signed the paper that what seems to be something like a contract or something.

"This here is for you if you do any trouble. You'll get expelled immediately if you cause any nuisance. Anyway, follow me to your class." The bell rang. I followed Miss Toyama towards the stairs, going up and taking a left. I could see the big field on the left from the windows. We then arrived. The class number is class 2-3. She walked in and I followed suit.

"Good Morning class. Today I would introduce a new student here. His name is Ryu Himuro." She said. I looked around the class. I see two familiar faces, Kaidou Sonezaki and Rei Yamauchi. They were sitting near to each other, Kaidou was sitting behind her while she was sitting at the second row and in the middle of the classroom. There was an empty seat beside Kaidou. Kaidou was waving at me while Rei was looking somewhere else.

"My name is Ryu Himuro, its a pleasure to meet you all." I introduced myself. I then heard all the other classmates murmuring.

"Well then, you can sit over there next to Kaidou." She pointed. I went to the desk and sat at it.

"Oh, hey! Who would have thought we would be in the same usually." Kaidou whispered to me. I looked to Rei.

"Hey." She said.

"Oh you two familiar with each other?" He asked.

"Yeah, right after you bumped into him. I actually though you would steal from him." She scoffed.

"Hey, I don't steal from the new kids. Well, not immediately." He chuckled.

"Huh, that's reassuring. Anyway, you didn't come yesterday." She asked.

"Yeah, yesterday was the welcoming ceremony. You missed it, why?" Kaidou was also curious.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I didn't know." I gave an uptight response.

"Wow, that's dumb. I thought you were like a delinquent kinda of guy, but turns out you're just a normal guy. With some interesting background." He said. I was a bit surprised to know he knew about my background.

"How did you-"

"Ears and eyes everywhere. I know everybody in this school from the bookworms to the those who gossip." He looked proud.

"He's lying. He saw your document sheets on Miss Toyama's desk, right after you both left." She said.

"... Yep. I just did that, I'm not very close to most of the people here." He looked a bit down.

"Huh, is it because you thieve?" I asked.

"Eh, that's part of the reason." His shoulders went up.

"Ahem, class is starting." Miss Toyama said. We then began first period which was science. My first day of school was normal, nothing major happening. I got to know some others, and well walked around the school. The school was big with three main buildings each with 3 floors. The first had classes such for the students from first years to third years. The second building consist of the faculty office and mostly where all of the other faculties are. The third building has two floors, which is actually abandoned. The assembly hall is next to the the first building. A big field is on the right of the second building. Where all of the sports club have their training. It seems like its the Football club and the Baseball club. The bell rang. It was time to go back.

"Looks like I should head back." I said to myself. I went to my class and took my bag, pushed in my chair and went out. I met with Kaidou and Rei on the way to the shoe locker.

"Hey, Ryu!" Kaidou waved at me.

"Ah, hey." I said. I was still stiff.

"Hey." Rei said.

"You're going back? Let's go somewhere." He was excited.

"Sorry, but I got to go. I have to be back immediately today. Sorry." I said. I changed into my shoes and went about. Rei did the same.

"Well, I got to go. I can't make my friends wait." She said, she ran towards her friends who was waving to her.

"That's the school's gyaru. She really moves on pace." Kaidou said.

"Anyway, there was some rumor she was in a pornography video, before she came to this school." Kaidou said.

"She didn't go to this school as a first year?" I was a bit curious.

"No, she transferred here midway of our first year here. She was really weird but she adapted quickly." He said. His face became a bit relaxed.

"Plus I steal from her a lot, she's loaded just so you know." He had a wide smile on his face. He then ran off saying bye to me. I then went back to my house, entered.

"How's school?" My aunt asked. She was in the living room, watching TV.

"Good. I'm a bit tired. Did you have to sign something?" I asked.

"Huh? No, your mom did." She said.

"Oh,okay. Its nothing." I said. I went up to my room and lay down on my bed. I loosen my tie up.

"Hahhh... This is tiring." I said. I then closed my eyes.

"I wonder what's going to happen tomorrow...."
