《The Spark of Balance: The Realm of Mianite (Book 1)》Chapter 16- The end...

Claire's POV:
The past few days have been full of absolute nonsense.
First, Nade betrayed them and decided to switch teams, ever since then he had been going back and fourth. One moment he was totally loyal to Tom, the next he calls them friends and wanted to join them.
Truth be told, she didn't trust him one bit, than and they were kinda getting really annoyed and his two-faced behavior so he better start watching his back from now on.
If Nade wasnt problematic enough, the Modesteps had joined the battle. As predicted, they were on Tom's side, and for some odd reason Josh Modestep absolutely hated Jordan and insisted that she was problem that needed to be taken care of. Out of all the people here, he may be the one that wanted to kill her the most, not even Tom hated her as much.
That meant that now they were outnumbered and out gunned since Tom and his team had some really powerful weapons.
The past few days have been all about avoiding them, stocking up on stuff and hiding it, but most importantly, it had been about staying alive. If they died, they'd get their stuff taken away forever.
This world was really neat, it lets them come back from the dead, and she appreciated that. The one thing it had failed to do was figure out a way to let them come back to life with their stuff. Anything that wasn't part of oneself or their clothes didn't come back with them, it stayed right were the person died for anyone to take.
Because of that, they had lost a lot of good stuff, and they had also stolen some valuable things as well.
Weapons were good and all, but in this war, potions was where its was at. If you didn't have potions you might as well surrender.
Jordan considered herself a woman of science, always had, the idea of things such as potions didn't scientifically make since to her.
If there wasn't a war, she would be analyzing the molecules of that stuff, but sadly that wasn't the case.
Making them wasn't hard, its just mixing ingredients together, how it all turned into super strength and invisibility was beyond her.
For the last few days Jordan set her curiosity aside and just focused on making as many potions as she possibly could. Tucker has stocked them up on weapons, mostly iron swords and some bows. Sonja had taken care of the food situation so they didn't starve to death and to have enough energy to actually stand a fighting chance in the war.

They had all been staying at Sonja's place for the most part since it was the furthest away from the main area. It was a nice place on top of a hill, it was also very big and in the midst of getting decorated but it felt like home.
Jordan kinda missed her home, she literally just built it a few weeks ago and its wasn't even finished. She was sure Tom and "his bitches", as Tucker calls them, had probably looted the place.
Unfortunately for them, there was barely anything there!
Lastly, there had been no sign of the gods as of yet. That's why today they were gonna go to the nether and the end.
They were going to the nether to get some more supplies for potions, they were also going to the end to build a temple for Ianite.
Hopefully it would help them communicate with their gods.
Jordan had never been to the end or the nether for that matter! She wondered what its like, how the portals work, and if they were truly as dangerous as everyone makes them seem.
Regardless of how they functioned, they need to be very careful though, there had been no word from anyone on the other side of the war for a while, they could be waiting to kill them anytime now. From what she heard, if you die in another dimension you probably wont ever see your stuff again and you will be easy bait for all the mobs.
If they didn't need anymore danger already, that was another thing to look after.
"Jordan, got your stuff? We should leave soon so we dont come back late at night. I dont feel like walking out in the dark with four wild hunters out for us ya know" said Tucker.
"Yeah, we have to take our good stuff if we want to survive the end and nether. I certainly dont want them to kill us when we have this kind of load" said Sonja shortly after her boyfriend had spoken
Those past couple of days she had really been able to get to know them better. The war had been kind of like a bonding experience, She loved spending time with them and being able to call them friends. Although it had been great and all, she had been feeling like the third wheel.
They were dating after all.
It wasn't too bad since they weren't one of those couples that make out all the time, but she did feel as though she was intruding at times.
"I got my stuff ready, we should leave before they find out. By the way guys... do you think we will run into Dianite in the nether? I mean that is his realm." Jordan asked

That had been one of her concerns since she found out they were going, Dianite was not the person she wanted to see anytime soon.
"Doubt it, the nether is open to whoever dares to go through. He isn't gonna scare the hell out of us and demand we leave if that's what you're referring to" Tucker said.
" I know your a bit jumpy being that this is your first time going there but I promise that everything will be alright, we're just gonna get supplies quickly and then get the hell out of there. Easy." Sonja said as she gripped her sword tightly.
" Whatever, you guys are right. It's not that bad after all, let just try to get out of there as fast as we can. Who knows what they will do to the portal if they find out we are there. I just hope this is all worth it and we get Ianite's help." She replied
Her face must have shown her worry because Tucker came over and hugged her tight.
" No luck finding him in your dreams I see. Don't worry, he's a god, you'll see him soon enough. Then you can go spread balance to the world together while kicking Dianite's ass"said Tucker
Then just as she broke the hug and were about to head out a message came up on the world communicator creating looks of disgust in all three of them.
Josh Modestep.
"Sparkles you are gonna suffer the worst death ever, it's gonna send you begging for scraps for what you have done!!!"
Woah someone was in a bad mood.
While her and Sonja had surpised looks, Tucker looked like he was a bomb about to explode so she decided to speak before Tucker got a chance to rant.
" What did I ever do to you!? I've barely even spoken to you since I got here. What's your deal!" She asked
" You aided Tucker by bringing him a lava bucket that killed one from our side a few days ago. Did you really think there would be no punishment, or did you think your non existent god was gonna save you little flower? " he screamed
"Woah there! I didn't kill anyone though. And how many times have you guys tried and sometimes achieved to kill us? Stop being so salty about it." Jordan said, Gary this time
Josh's behavior was out of line, there was no reason for him to be upset.
"We will come for you, and you will pay, we are gonna send you right back to the beginning. You will have nothing left." He screamed.
"What's wrong with you mate? Leave her alone, she didn't do anything to you. Stop trying to pick a fight like that and man up." Said Tom.
Tom....
He hadn't talked to them in ages and this is what he said after turning on them and starting this civil war!
What kind of joke was this?
"Tom! What on Mianite's name are you doing!?"asked Jordan
"Sorry guys, he's a little out of control. I'll make sure he stays in line." Tom said quickly
Finally Sonja spoke up. " Tom, we haven't heard your voice in weeks, you have just been killing us like crazy. What's your deal? Can we maybe end this war? We miss you"
"Screw you guys. I'm still fighting against you, but it will be on my terms" he said
Before she could reply, Jordan heard a noise behind her that stopped her on her tracks, it was very subtle that the others didn't notice.
Someone could be outside of Sonja's house, waiting to ambush them...
Before Jordan had a chance to take action a sword came out from behind her, she barely had enough time to dodge it. That would have been a one hit kill and her killer would have gotten all her good stuff.
Expecting Josh to be there, She got out her bow and shot without hesitation. Before the arrow reached the target Jordan saw a hit of green from where she was standing.
It wasn't Josh it was Tom.
Jericho screamed out orders at them but she was too distracted to hear so she just made a run for the door like he and Sonja were doing. Jordan followed Tucker to a cave not knowing were they were going , they ran for what seemed like hours, until they finally reached a portal.
An end portal.
Without time to hesitate they jumped in, it was dark and cold at first, then when Jordan opened her eyes She was in a completely new land that looked like nothing she had ever seen.
She could see scary wendigo like creatures in the distance, floating islands, and lots of sand all over the place, gray sand. As she marveled at the land, Tucker and Sonja cornered up the entrance with some stone they had in hand so that Tom and his britches couldn't follow them in.
Finally, Jordan was in the realm of her god.
The end.

I Am Not A Humanity's Traitor (Isekai LitRPG)
Ren is a reincarnated person. His new world had the same name as his old one, Earth. But that was the extent of the resemblances. Ren has a skill as well, or at least he was told he did, but he had no inkling of how to use it. He was disheartened at first but his goal wasn't the path to power, all he wanted from this world was to continue the peaceful life, but the world didn't even provide him with that. A luminous pillar descended upon him and one of his classmates. Goddess Helastia, one of the most revered goddess, called them to herself, probably not a good news. However, there, he finds that a group of heroes has been summoned from his past world to confront the Devils that will be rising soon. But contrary to his assumption of being a hero himself, she referred to him as a reincarnated imposter. She labeled both of them as Humanity's Traitors and sends them into a dungeon where they were supposed to live. That is, with their masters and comrades, the Devils and their minions. The monsters in the dungeon were not likely to accept them as allies, instead, they were out to devour the delicacies that appeared in their home. Only despair awaited them. ---------------------------------------------------------- This novel is inspired from Neets's parallel world syndrome, Abnormal state skill and bunch of other jp novels, this is also my first time writing a web novel.
