《The Spark of Balance: The Realm of Mianite (Book 1)》Ch53- Jordan?

Tom POV-
Aside from Dianite's late night visit, all was well in the world that morning.
Time to mess that up.
When there was too much peace Tom took pride in creating chaos and who better to bother on this lovely day than his best friend.
As Tom finished breakfast and began to make his way over to Jordan's home he couldn't help but think about last night.
Dianite had been very peculiar about the information he wanted and most of it was on Jordan, then he just stormed off. Though that wasn't uncommon, it was odd.
Tom had heard Tucker say something about Dianite going soft at the temple when he hung out with him last night, he said that Dianite had saved Jordan.
Now that was hard to believe.
Still, when he FINALLY arrived at the temple it looked like his god had a lot on his mind.
Dianite just told him what to do but kept staring at the prayer room with a non evil smile on his face, never paying attention to his followers attempts at his tasks. Not only that, but in the middle of a talk he suddenly vanished when Jordan was asking about Diamonds in the world communicator.
Not two seconds later, Jordan claimed she had one.
Tom wasn't stupid, well he was sometimes but not when it came to this stuff. His god had clarely given her the pick and helped her out of the prayer room. Question was, why? Why all the questions about her late at night?
Even though Tom had spent many years being his champion and in his direct presence, he had read about him when he was a boy. Both of those experiences make it impossible to think that Dianite would be so nice to her.
Sure he wants her to join the team, secretly Tom did too, but going as far as that just didn't sound like all the stuff he had read about. Diante was still the man who sunk eight continents, created the first monsters in the overworld, the man who influenced many in the world to do what he wanted.

If he was being so nice perhaps it was because of Tom. Maybe because he knew that she meant a lot to him, he wanted to keep her safe.
Speaking of his Sparkles, he had made it to her house. Now, what would he do....
After much diabolical thinking he decided he would crack a few eggs on her face to wake her up, nothing too fancy.
Tom made his way to the front door expecting to have to force his way in, but the door had been blasted open. There were burn marks on the door...
"Jordan! Please don't tell me Dianite finally decided to try to burn your house down!" To yelled, but the only response was the echos of his own voice.
He checked every room in the house for any sign of his best friend, even the roof. As he made his way downstairs for a second inspection he found a new room by her storage room.
It was like a basement of a basement, of course only Jordan would have that. It wasn't even finished, there was dirt all over the place and things were still left on the floor. There were tools and bits of leftover food...for two?
Right, Dianite did mention something about them being here together. He may have imagined that though, Champwan didn't hang out with anyone and he wouldn't dare flirt with her.
When Tom reached to pick up a piece of bread he saw a slight outline of a laying body in the dirt, actually...two. The closer he looked the more he found, a few signs of struggle and a bit of blood.
Maybe they were training? Jordan was always down for improving her skills.
"Jordan?" He said using the world communicator. At lest that way if she was just out getting supplies he could get an answer from her but there was no response

After two minutes Tom screamed her name once more, unfortunately he woke up a few people.
"Tom! Me and Sonja are trying to sleep here!" Said Tucker
"Hey me too! I need plenty of rest to function properly Thomas" screamed the priest
Tom didn't feel like dealing with their morning salt so he said nothing else and decided to go out looking for her. There were only a few places Jordan would actually go to so it wouldn't be too hard to find her.
Jordan was a big girl, she could take care of herself. There was no way something happened to her.
On his way to the farm something fell from the sky right in front of him. It should have given Tom a heart attack but he was just focused on finding Jordan to cars about his god's games
"Thomas, what are yo doing?" He said
"Shit Diante is here! Sonja common were going into hiding again" Tucker declared from back in his home
"My lord" Tom replied, not using the world communicator
"Must I repeat myself?" Diante said
Tom loved his god, he would do anything for him, but that didn't mean his god wasn't scary.
"Just off to find Jordan, see what she wants me to bring for movie night" Tom replied
"Is she not home?" He asked
"Um no, she must be out for supples, she's been building her vault so..."
Diante closed his eyes and then looked confused
"She's not outside anywhere"
"Then she must be at Champwan's, they must have stayed the night there or something" Tom said, grossed out by the thought of that being a thing
"Perhaps, I'm not allowed to see inside his home. Very well Tom, just remember you owe me information. I expect it by tomorrow morning" and with that he vanished
Though he hated going to Champwan's, maybe he knew what was up. Besides, he needed to have a serious talk with the guy about other topics aside from Jordan's disappearance...
Also, he was close to the god's, maybe he knew stuff about Ianite. Tom rembered how he would rant about a man fitting Ianite's description when Tom had just arrived at the island.
He would say that he was one of the people his dad worked with, it want until today that Tom registered that. His dad only worked with gods, so he must have been talking about a god.
That little flea had secrets, if he didn't say anything of use, Tom may just have to read his diary in that case.
Someone as lonely as Champwan was bound to have one.

Rise of an Undead in a Fantasy World
Have you ever wondered what would happen if an undead being that doesn't know what it is like to be alive got free will? What would that undead creature do? How would they think? How would they view the world around them? Would they see life as futile and conquer the world, making it a lifeless danger zone to all living beings? Well, none of that matters, because that's not happening. Our main character is your average gamer from the modern world, yada yada yada... gets transported to a fantasy world through obscure means, blah blah blah... you know how this works. What separates him from the masses, however, are his views on ethics, and world politics. ... Oh, and the fact that he doesn't need to breathe. Message From Author! Accept?: Yes No This is only my second novel, so keep that in mind. I will try to keep the quality of the story to an acceptable level. This means something that I, myself would read. The quantity, however, may put some people off. Adding onto the whole "villainous lead" thing, I will make sure to have the character develop into that perfect little villain over time, instead of starting him out as a bloodthirsty murder-hobo. Of course, there will still be a lot of murdering and he may be a hobo for some of it, but it will mostly not be out of malice in the very early chapters. Last but not least, I have decided there will not be a defined release schedule for this, as I have lost interest in forcing myself to upload x amount of times a week. I will upload whenever I get a good idea, and take my time. That is, if I even feel like writing in the first place. Instead of taking breaks from this novel to do my own thing, I will take breaks from my daily life to post on here. Also, I'm lazy. Thanks for reading, and if you're alright with everything above, feel free to give it a read, and without further ado, have a good one! - Your Author P.S.: I will have little to no romance in the story, as I can't bring myself to writing it, so you don't have to worry about harems.
