Dianite POV-
"What do you mean you've never celebrated one?" Jordan asked him, her expression completely perplexed
Dianite settled her next to him on his throne, one arm around her shoulders.
"We did when I was younger for my first two birthdays, then things changed" he said, stroking a stand of her hair out of the way
Dianite had gone to fetch Jordan a few minutes ago, she actually seemed excited when he arrived. They decided to go say hi to Dargon first, for a human, she was very comfortable around him, so much that she didn't leave his side for the few minutes they were there.
Then he took her around for a quick tour, last place being his throne area that they were in now.
Being there reminded him of the time they were in the prayer room underneath not too long ago. It was the place he kissed her for the first time, it was the day he realized something odd was going on with him.
Dinaite would have never though he would sit in his throne with her in his arms short after. Yet there they were..
"In that case, I'll plan a birthday party for you" she said
"You're gonna need a big cake to hold enough candles to signify my age dear one"
"We'll go by centuries then, one candle will signify a century. How many candles will in need in that case?" She joked
It always surprised him how comfortable Jordan was around him, taking now for instance, she leaned her head on his shoulder and let her legs fall freely next to his. Jordan even played with his other hand, trailing the lines on his palm peacefully.
Strangely enough, he felt just as relaxed, even with all his servants around. Initially, he would have never shown his affection in front of them as it could be a sign of weakness. Now he wanted everyone to see her next to him, have them all bow before her.
Even with all of them running around like lost rats, it felt as though it was just the two of them, with the freedom to be together for as long as they wished. If anything, he could smell their shock, maybe even their fear for the darkness Jordan must posses to be by his side.
"Too many to count. Anyways, how do like the throne?" Dianite asked

She looked around it for a few seconds, inspecting it, then she found his eyes and smiled
"Ive never sat in a throne before, it feels like a giant chair. Kind of like when I was a little girl and would sit on my mom's work chair" she said "But I like it"
"Good" he said as he leaned in to kiss her
Dianite couldn't help it sometimes, she could be absolutely irresistible sometimes, specially when he saw that glimmer in her eyes. She didn't seem to mind the kiss and continued to kiss him back, grabbing on to his neck, getting closer and closer.
They must have kissed endlessly for minutes, as time went by he could hear the beating of her heart louder, feel the warm touch of her skin running trough his hair and grabbing on to his horns.
He went ahead and pulled her closer so she was on top of him grabbing on to her back, placing his hands underneath her vibrant red cape.
They took one second breaks every now and then to let her catch her breath, in those moments they just smiled and locked their eyes together then went back to kissing.
He smoothed out her shoulder length hair as he began to kiss her more intensively, to his surprise, Jordan managed to adjust to his change instantly and began doing the same.
After a few more minutes of what he could now consider blissful kissing, Jordan stopped and laid her forehead against his.
"I feel bad making out with you in front of your people, I don't want to disturb them" she said
" Im sure they are enjoying the show" he joked
When he looked over her shoulder he could see that everyone was still working but glancing every now and them. He shot them all a deadly stare and they ran out of the throne room like spiders.
"No one is here anymore" Dianite added
Jordan turned around searching for any signs of life but found none, then she turned back to face him.
"Never in a million years did I think id be here doing this, but it feels normal" she said in a whisper
Dianite couldn't help but laugh at her comment.
"Do you think my friends will understand?" She asked
It was an easy question to answer. No.
The Mianitees would think she was crazy, but Thomas would think more than that.

It had become apparent to him that Tom had feelings for Jordan since long ago, knowing how he can react sometimes, he would probably throw a fit.
In a way it felt great to know that she had chosen him over Tom.
"Isnt that why this is a secret for now?" He said to answer her question
"I don't understand how they cant see what I see. Even if they never can, just know that I will always see the good in you" she said before giving him quick kiss which he gladly excepted
"Just know that when they judge your evil doings, I will be there to stand by you lady Jordan" he said
He kissed her once again, fearing that it was all a dream and she wasn't really there. Feeling her soft lips against his was his confirmation that it was all real, for the first time in many years he wasn't alone.
"I have some paperwork to go over at my office chambers, want to come keep me company?" Dianite asked her
When she nodded he took her hand and teleported them there.
It was a big office, had millions of books and scrolls along with a giant desk in the far end of the room in front of the large window facing the front of his castle. The desk was accompanied with a chair just as big as his throne and many papers that needed his attention.
War was a very intricate process, there were many strategies to go over and thousands of supplies and soldiers to keep track of. It was a stressful process to sit down and get stuff done, but not that night.
Jordan sat next to him in his chair, while he looked over the paperwork, she went ahead and took a nap cradled in his arms.
Her breathing was short and sweet, as she slept she seemed in a state of absolute tranquility that was hard to dismiss. He had expected her to look through his papers and ask what he was up to, but she didn't even glanced at them, instead she played with his tie and fell asleep shortly after.
Jordan was a woman full of surprises.
Two stacks of papers finished on record time later was when Jordan woke. He had tried to finish quickly to get to spend more time with her, she must have sensed it because she woke up just in time.
When she first woke and glanced around she seemed confused, it wasn't until she saw him that her smile returned to her face. That couldn't make him any happier, no one ever smiled because of him but her.
She leaned forward and kissed his cheek.
"Done?" She asked
"Yes. Sleep well?" He asked in return
"Yeah" she answered
"Then, where were we?" He said as he leaned in to stroke her cheek
Jordan was the first to initiate yet another long period of kissing, everything was great until he heard the door close.
By then both of them broke the kiss and tuned to face the door, finding the priest standing idly by
He had probably been there for a few seconds, and he saw them intimately kissing each other.
When Jordan realized that she bolted away from his arms and out of the chair, frantically bushing her hair with her hands and pulling down her shirt.
He just stayed seated on his chair staring at the priest, curious as to why he had come to visit. It was something the priest rarely did.
"Priest, um....hi" Jordan said, still busying herself with her hair.
Dianite wanted to laugh at how flustered she was, it was very human of her to do.
"Hello Jordan, I must say I didn't expect you to be here so late, or at any time to be honest" the priest said
"Why are you here Declan? It better be of importance" Dianite said coldly
"Its of little importance now compared to what I just witnessed. Would you care to explain?" He said just as coldly
One of the many things he hated about the priest if that he thought himself at the level of the gods. He mostly showed no fear towards him, much like now.
Dinaite wasn't sure what to say, when he looked over at Jordan she just frowned and sat down in a couch nearby
"First you have to promise not to say anything" Jordan said
The priest seemed almost amused, he glanced between the both of them before his eyes feel on him.
Dianite just stared coldly into the priest's eyes and went to sit next to Jordan, wrapping his arms around her protectively
Declan took a good look at them both and massaged his temples before letting out a big sigh.
"Im listening" said the Priest
