Claire POV-

She didn't understand why he seemed so serious until she realized what that must have looked like.

Dianite though that Tom had a crush on her, it was only because he didn't understand the concept of friendship well enough to know that they were just very close friends.

Still, it wasn't good, Dia had the tendency to kill and ask questions later.

"Thank you my lord" Tom said in a defensive way for some reason

"Why are you here Dia...nite?" Jordan corrected herself last second

"Just paying a visit to my champion and future champion" the god said

"Still never gonna happen" Jordan added

Jordan finally took a few steps away from Tom to try and ease the tension.

"What's wrong my lord, I cant dance with Jordan? Why? Because it will make me seem weak? Because that's not something a Dianitee would do?"Tom asked

"I was just wondering why Jordan didn't dance with others, maybe others closer to her" Dia said

"Because there is nothing closer than out friendship, and dancing is kinda our thing, because we actually get along enough to do such things" Tom snapped back

Before further confusing arguments could arise the next song rand loudly across the room and it couldn't have been better timing or a better song.

In contrast to the current arguing, it was the song Rude by Magic. That sent her laughing like crazy.

Apparently Tom knew the song as well because he began singing it to her which made her laugh even more, next thing she knew, they were both singing and laughing uncontrollably forgetting about the previous drama.

That was until Champwan came in puzzled by the scenario he was experiencing.

Instead of asking questions he just smiled.

"Jordan, I see you're having fun. I swear, the music from your world puzzles me at times. Dianite, Tom, good to see you"

"Is everything ok?" She asked while running over to him

He wasn't injured or in panic, which was good. Jordan was afraid that Nvidia had made his appearance but by the looks of him that wasn't it.

"I came to congratulate you on today's purge, that triple kill was unbelievable"

"CAN WE NOT TALK ABOUT THAT!" Tom screamed from the living room

"Still salty Tom? Thats what you get for trying to sneak in! Cant believe you and Tucker teamed up against me! With the Modesteps none the less!" Jordan joked

"It was all the strength pot! We weren't ready!!!!" Tom said in defense

Jordan invited Champwan to the living room where Tom was sitting on the couch and Dianite was still standing where he had been before. Champwan just sat down on the couch across from Tom's and nodded in acknowledgement.

"Dia? Are you ok?" Jordan privately messaged the god

"Of course, but why were you dancing with Tom?" He asked

"I've been teaching him how to dance lately, don't tell me that it makes him less of a Dianitee because its just us spending time together" she said

"You mean you dance with him often?"

"Well, yeah. Why?"

"Nothing."

"Is this about you thinking he likes me, well he does, as a friend"she said before Tom interrupted her thoughts

"Its like I said, you caught us off guard"

"Maybe your team is weakening Dianite, I took three of them on with ease" she joked, at which Chamwan tried to hide his smile

"Seriously, Jordan could kill us all at this point" said Tucker as he came in with Sonja wrapped around his arm.

"Hey sweetie!" Sonja said while greeting Jordan with a hug and then taking seat next to Tom

"Woah! Why is Dianite here!" Tucker said "Jordan! Dianite is in your house!"

"He came to talk to Tom, its no big deal" Jordan tried to calm down Tucker before he attacked.

"Right..ok. is he gonna stay?" Tucker asked coldly

"For what?" Dianite asked as the wizards walked in along with the priest

"Its movie night. We have one after every purge to calm down people's saltiness" Jordan replied "Since my charging problem is no longer an issue I got my phone to work, luckily I own a small projector case for it so I can display movies on the wall for all of us to see"

"None of us understand how that works or what it means, we just go along with it" the priest commented

Dianite just looked at everyone like they were sewer rats and teleported out but not before sending her a message.

"See you later my love" rand through her head

"Well, lets get this going! I chose this time!" Tom screamed as everyone argued over who got to chose.

Tom was right, as she looked around her living room with everyone there she realized that she wasn't alone. She had more family than she had hoped for.
