《Mianite: Unitended》Unfortunate

I picked up my other watch, "Hope!". I could tell in her voice she was hurt and/or in trouble. I didn't like either of those options. "Hope", I repeated. "Are you ok".
She started sniffing and coughing like she was crying. "No, I got hurt I don't know where I am", she started crying louder and I couldn't understand her.
"Ok calm down", I talked standing up and grabbing my shoes.
"I-I c-can't", she stammered. "The needle it got in my-my arm and the-the thing".
"Woow, a needle. Hope calm down, where are you"
"I think I'm behind my base, the one with the sheet metal, to the west for you", she informed me.
"Ok, I'm going out right now"
"Jordan, before you hang up"
"Yes"
"Can you bring my stuffed animal and bandages"
"Yes", I said and hung up the watch.
I ran over east where Hope told me to go. I heard some wolf's to the right and started running faster. I found Hope a while after I went through the cornfield and stopped at her base to get bandages. I didn't knows why she needed them all a heard was needles and thought I should hurry it up.
She had made a fire so she was easy to find her.
When I got over to her I couldn't believe what happened. Her right shoulder was completely cut open. I started to ask her what happened but she interrupted me.
"Give me the bandage", she said in a hurry. She started wrapping the bandages on her arm while looking up at the cliffside. She stood up holding her shoulder.
"What happened", I asked.
She looked at her shoulder and then back at the cliffside again.
"HOPE", I screamed to get her attention.
She jolted out of whatever she was thinking of and looked at my backpack.
"Did you bring knuffle bunny", she asked me.
"What is that"
"My bunny! My stuffed bunny!!!", She yelled.
I threw her my backpack.
She got the stuffed animal out of the backpack and started hugging it.

As she walked beside me. I was growing more and mor confused. Not that wasn't normal for me here.
Hope started to shuffle her feet back to the optics, and I followed. We walked back to through the woods in eerie silence. I didn't say anything to her and she didn't say anything to me.
The night was actually pretty peaceful. The stars slipped out from the tops of the jungle trees perfectly. Everything looked like a painting. Forced to be perfectly imperfect.
Well everything was peaceful until I started hearing voices and saw torch light.
Hope grabbed my hand and pulled my arm over to the right. I was whipped off my feet to be placed under a rock that was perched on a log. Just enough room where we could hide.
I heard some voices that sounded mad and tired. It sounded like the Modsteps.
I could see four shadows. The two modsteps, a skinny man with something in his and a bigger man with broad shoulders and a constant smile.
Hope tensed and I could tell Hope was scared.
I nudged her shoulder and signaled to the side. We moved to the side away from the torch light.
It was so dark I couldn't see anything. My body collapsed into itself and a signal of fear echoed in my brain as I hit cold rock under me after falling.
I stared up into the little light coming from the stars and the outside world from the hole that I had fell into. I saw an indent of Hope's head.
Hope was looking over it. "God do you trip on everything", she whispered slightly laughing.
I stood up on my soar back and walked around in the humid air. Whoever I was, it was definitely underground because everything was cold and damp. It felt like my house basement after spring flooding.
I squinted in the darkness trying to find something. I continued to feel stone under my feet. I also could make out an outline of a sign.

The ground was reassuring under my feet as I rolled my feet over to this sign. I squinted my eyes again, making out exactly what the sign said.
I flipped the switch on top of the sign. Lanterns sequenced on either each post. With a bright clicking noise the lanterns let out a warm glow lighting up what I now know is a mine shaft.
I looked over to the right and saw a metallic ladder that reflected off the yellow light. It was at the other side of this really long hallway, but I could make it and if I could make it Hope could make it.
"Hey Hope", I whispered ,"it's safe I see another way out".
She slid down the side of the mine entry and we walked towards the ladder.
I looked over to her adjusting the white bandages that had dirt on them now, " How's it feel".
She shrugged.
"I think there was this old thing my mom used and she got it from her garden, I think it was-" I got cut off by loud Shrieking.
It didn't sound human. Not animalistic. It sounded like a piccolo playing a bad g.
Hope looked over to the area where the glow of the glass lamps stopped. Under the stone hallway that we were walking on. A damp and dark trench dug on either side of us.
"There's something in there", she whispered.
I stepped in front of her, a tinge of protectiveness echoing in me. I didn't want Hope to get hurt anymore.
I glared forward into the dark trench. I was almost ready to fight the trench itself, even though I probably couldn't make a dent in whatever was lurking there.
Whatever it was lunged at us.
We both moved to the side as the creature pounced through our group.
It overshot and landed over the mine bridge we were walking on.
I went to inspect the deep dark trench.
Whatever the creature was, it must have fell and died.
The creature was covered in ash and flame. The ash slowly fell of its body showing charred bones. Then there was another loud shrieking noise.
The entrance way was full of the things. White fangs hanging from there mouth. They were a lot taller then any human being could be. Again there whole bodies were ash with slight sights of flames down there arms.
"RUN", I heard a voice scream. It wasn't mine or Hope's. It was female. Some airy melodic voice that almost made the mode feel calming.
The mode was definitely not calming.
I glanced back over my shoulder. A young woman with brown hair and glowing green eyes had two sterling metal knives in each of her hands.
I grabbed hopes hand and started running. Monsters chased after us with screaming a shrieking.
Small glimpses of blood, ash, and fire flashed through my eyes as I continued to run for my life.
As my breath quickened so did my pulse and my feet.
Hope is a lot faster than I am so she was in the lead before long.
A knife swished over my head and hit a monster that had its fangs over my head, about ready to bight its maw down and kill me.
We got to the other girl and started climbing up the ladder.
When we were all up she shut the trapdoor and looked it with a key. The monster hit on it making there shrieking sounds.
The girl had dark red lipstick on. Her nails were painted black and had French tips on them. She had a orange Swetshirt on and black jeans or leggings. I'm not sure I can never tell them apart. She had normal sneakers on orange socks. It's quite obvious what her favorite color is.
"Come on", she said. "That trapdoor isn't going to hold them for long we need to get to the main gate".

The Wolf Saga, Wolf that Devours Empires
The Empire of Human is about to enter a turbulent era. A World Power has fallen. But mere hours after dying, he is reborn as a half-human, half-elf boy named Wolf. The story follows this odd boy as he grows up, his relationship with his father and those around him, his lack of common sense from being raised in the wilderness, and his desire for revenge. Witness Wolf's journey as he aspires to climb to the peak of the world to unravel its mysteries, and as he tries to figure out why it’s wrong to decapitate a street thug when the man tries to mug you. “I mean, the man literally said ‘Money or life,’ so what’s the big deal?” Releases Mon/Wen/Fri. (GMT-ish) Trigger warning. The Wolf Saga may not be suited for you if any of the following disturbs you: - The story will have fighting and killing. The gore will not be explicit, but there will be descriptions such as "head burst like a melon", "instantly turned to cinders", "blood splashed/fountained" etc. Most of the violence will be performed by the protagonist, some of it before he reaches his teens. If such scenes bother you, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have sexual content. It's there for a reason. Once again, these scenes will not be explicit. Genitals will be mentioned sometimes, but never described in detail. Nude bodies will be described in passing, without too many specific details. If you're afraid of nipples, you should probably give Wolf a pass. - The story will have a decent amount of cursing. If you haven't given up by now, this is unlikely to bother you. Still, I believe I should forewarn you that a number of curse words will be making appearance from time to time. - The story will have no small amount of loss for the main character. If you enjoy novels in which everything is fine, the protagonist makes it at the last moment and saves the day... This is not such a story. Life happens. As a reader, I'm annoyed with heroes making it in the nick of time, so for the sake of fairness I used dice on a number of occasions, making do with the result. Sometimes it was anticlimactic, sometimes it was tragic and it led to the story you see before you. Dedication: This story is written for Tired Mom and Wolf, whose arrival the rest of the pack is eagerly awaiting. Thanks: I would like to thank Tired Mom for her proofreading and encouragement over the years. I would like to thank you, Dear Reader, for taking the time to read this big pile of words.
