《Mianite: Unitended》Unlike

I couldn't tell who the girl was, but she sounded familiar. I could remember her voice, but it was like I knew here years ago and for a very short period.
She was pretty too. One of those faces with strong features and a skinny nose. Fair skin and bright eyes. Something that made her look like an adult.
The whole time we were walking down the mines she wouldn't speak. I wasn't getting another glimpse at her voice for awhile.
The thing is about these mines, is that they were long, so they had to be stretching out under all of Mianite. They also looked new, time hadn't caught up with them is some way.
I had never heard of mines. I knew there was wells, but mines was against me. I should have known about these mines too. I lived with priest pretty much my whole life so far and that guy knew everything about Mianite.
We reached a metal gate that was welded against the stone cave beside it. Everything looked really sturdy and ready for battle. It almost looks paranoid.
The girl looked back at me and smiled. "This will make you happy Hope".
I took a closer look at her face and then realized who it was ,"Sonja!" I gasped out of surprised.
The iron gates opened and out came Tucker.
I had no idea who any of them were at the time but Hope was really happy to see them.
I guess it was true what she said 'she knows everyone and everyone knows her'.
The guy walked out of the iron gate, picked her up, and hugged her.
The girl which she called Sonja was standing there smiling holding the holster with the throwing knives in it.
The man was hugging her really tightly spinning her around. Sonja came over and stood by me. She had a really thin and long nose which reminded me of Natalie way to much.

"Your killing me", Hope struggled to get out of the hug. I almost got worried, but a noticed that she was laughing.
Tucker put her down and cleared his throat. "Alright we have other matters to get to, come on", he signaled us to enter the gate.
The man had brown pants and a short sleeve grey shirt on with two swords at his side. I slowly started to notice that everyone had a weapon on them.
The gate lead to another tunnel and then into a room that looked like a huge basement with old wood flooring. The room had a open fire stove in it and a big table in the middle.
I walked to the left and was startled by a brown and white horses chained to a fence attached to the wall.
Sonja sat down at the table and started rubbing some mud off her shoe.
Hope sat down by her silently. She seemed like she was trying to not be mad about something.
I sat down by Hope terrified. I had saw Sonja take out a couple of those things with throwing knives. She was very good at it.
Tucker came down and sat by me. I didn't know what to do and wanted to move so much.
"So", Tucker said ," when did Hope find you and lead you into the daunting and horrifyingly screwed up world of Mianite".
"Um I don't actually know how long it was", I was stammering trying to think up of something. I was never to good with confrontation.
"Around three days ago", Hope cut in saving my skin.
Sonja nodded her head. She looked tired and so did the other man.
He leant out his hand to me ,"Tucker".
I shook his hand ,"Jordan".
"Sonja", Sonja said putting her throwing knives on the table.

"And we all know me", Hope butted into the conversation.
"Hope can you go take the horses outside the adults are talking", Tucker said. I had almost forgot through all the time that I knew Hope that she was only a little kid. Probably around eight or nine.
"But, where do I take them-"
"Now please", Tucker said like he was in a hurry.
Hope jumped out of her seat. Took the horses reins and walked out of the door slamming them shut.
"Now I'm going to be honest with you", Tucker said sternly. He didn't sound friendly like Tom or Hope anymore. He sounded like Hex, stern and worried. "Do you know who Mianite is".
"The God of the people who went into hiding", I said choosing my words carefully.
"That's us ", Tucker had a cold and sad look on his face, " And I regret everyday that I backed down".
I nodded my head and started to understand why he was acting this way. He didn't seem like a bad guy. This is just a really bad place.
He stood up strait. "Those things were Dianites guards. He sicked em' on you because you were called to us from Mianite".
I pointed at myself like a confused teenager ," Me".
"Yes", Sonja took the throwing knives off her hip and put them on the table, " Your supposed to make something like that watch. I'm guessing you made that since the optics aren't that advanced yet".
"You and Hope together are supposed to think up of some idea, it doesn't need to be exactly like the watch Sonja".
I couldn't think up how I could be so important or why the gods cared about me. Why was I so special. What did I even go through to land myself here instead of death rogue.
"How's that thing work anyway", Sonja asked. Her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I turned on the watch and spoke ,"Hope"
"What!" she yelled sounding aggravated.
"Could you ask her to come in she needs to hear some of this", Tucker said.
I nodded my head ," Oh Hope can you-"
"Yea, yea I heard you", Hope interrupted me and turned off her watch.
"We need to all work as a team. This is about more than Mianite and Dianites stupid fights. I feel like this is more. The whole reason any of us are here", Tucker glared at me not angry but nervous ," I need to know your on our side".
I really didn't know what to say. What was I supposed to say. "Whatever Hope thinks, I'm not much of a adult in these situations".
Sonja laughs to herself ," you might as well say yes I know she will-"
Hope ran into the room out of breath, " Hex, Blood, blaming mianites, noooowww!!!"

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)

Sweet Minds
"No one can see it, some can feel it, and only the few can use it. We belong to the few." Marith Merryfield felt anything but merry that morning. She found herself waiting for a delayed train on a deserted platform, in the freezing cold of the Dutch autumn. Just when the strangeness is making her consider turning around and going back home an empty train rolls into the station. For reasons unclear to this day she decides to get onboard. An unlikely, and quite impossible, train accident is about to hurtle her into a world she had always suspected existed. It was a dark and absurd place she had rejected and suppressed when she was young. Now she would need that dormant part of herself to survive. After a brief hospitalization she must choose between two continents and finds herself reluctantly boarding a plane to Oregon to be reunited with her shadows. She returns to the town she grew up in, which is where her father still lives and her childhood memories linger. By the end of the week the mysterious train accident turns out to be the least of her problems. Her life was never supposed to become this serious this fast. Through an improbable and unfortunate series of events she is soon introduced to a motley crew of characters that appear to be carrying the same struggles through life. They possess a familiar sense of inadequacy and insecurity. Marith realizes that for the first time in her life she has found herself a tribe, or, as they prefer to call it, a Chain. She is introduced to a world of Prophets, Runners and Mages led by an Oracle and a Watchmaker. Over the course of several weeks Marith learns that, together with her Chain, she is expected to save this fabric of reality, by fighting a mysterious and immortal creature and his aggressive pet. In order to have a chance at overcoming this force of nature she has to revisit the darkest and most desolate corners of her mind. ***** The total word count of the first 12 chapters amounts to about 85.000 words. The total word count of the first 30 chapters will amount to about 225.000 words. My chapters range, roughly, from 5.000 to 10.000 words. I post with irregular intervals, on random days and at different times. I hope you will enjoy the story! English is not my first language and I am very much open to constructive criticism. Disclaimer: I regularly use impressionistic or abstract language on purpuse, when I think it might benefit the story.

Summoning Our Country - NHS Kai
CONTENT WARNING: Japanese ultranationalism, language, gore depictions, obscene scenery Off to the Orient lay a massive ocean that separated the bellies of the great continents of Eurasia and the Americas. In between the global juggernauts that were the United States of America and the People's Republic of China was a state home to 120 million people and the world's third largest economy. But things often don't go as hoped. The nation of Japan suddenly wakes up to the heavens above them having been rewritten in what seemed like divine premonition. A familiar, yet otherwise alien world awaited them beyond the shores that had kept them safe. As the vices of globalization threatened to wreck havoc and condemn the Japanese state into obscurity, it was up to newly elected Prime Minister Takamori Hideaki and his administration to face this challenge of epic proportions. Paying homage to みのろう's Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan, NHS) as a fan-made work, this story will also follow Japan, but explores a completely different world. Now helmed by a named Prime Minister, Japan will wade the murky waters of the new world as it struggles to come to terms with its issues. Also available on Wattpad, Scribble Hub, and Fanfiction.net
