《Mianite: Unitended》Untrained

Sonja grabbed the throwing knives before I could pick them up again. Tom slowly put his hands down that he was using as a shield. "Jesus, man". Tom crossed his arms.
I sat down at the table. "What is it". Tom opened his mouth. I put my hand up. "And don't waste my time".
Tom looked up," Fine, sassy". He sat down in front of me sitting on the chair the wrong way which was bothering me more. "So, I suspect you know about the Dianite hangout.
"You mean that place that serves one type of anything, alcohol", Sonja said firmly putting the knives on the counter.
Tom pointed at her, "Yes, fine establishment. My favourite".
"I think I heard the modsteps talking about it, I think they bet there", Hope added in.
Tom made a drum roll on the desk, "Yes, you got it. That is the place, and tonight there is a banquet". He leaned back on his chair. He started picking some skin off his hand. "Did you know that there are fancy Dianities. Really strange hobbies". He was pointing to the ceiling. "And I believe, they are useing dwarves as waiters". His finger moved to Hope.
She sighed, "Really".
I laughed a little to myself. "Tom, we already know about the Dianite pub, and there's no way we can get in".
"Aha", Tom jumped off the table. "But that's where your faulted silly, silly, Mianites have it wrong".
Sonja crossed her arms, "Excuse m-".
"Shh", Tom interrupted her. "You think just because there not a safe alternative, there's no alternative".
"You are not putting anyone of us in any danger", I snapped.
"Can I fucking finished!" Tom yelled at him getting everyone's attention. "Now here's the plan".
I thought when the moment came when I was to help with a Ianite mission I would be happy.

Nope.
I was to go to the pub with all the Dianite weirdos. I'm glad they got wiped out during the flu. There excuse as using dwarves as waiters and waitresses were that they were short and out of the way. Though, then you look at the outfits that they make the waiters and waitresses wear and then you realize the dwarves look like children. You can't blame me for being terrified even though at the time people would say I was fearless.
Tom had the stolen the whole outfit and everything for the plan. He had a plan before he even knew about the banquet.
The dress was as short as above me knees which worsened my suspicion. The top had spaghetti straps and the canvas of it was black with a red handkerchief poking out of the middle top of the dress going around to the bow around the waist. I looked like what the flight attendants are going to look like if we don't win this war.
I stuck the Mary Jane's on and hid my watch behind my hair that I was keeping up in pigtails as if my life depended on it. It actually did. They also stuck red ribbon in my hair last minute trying to hide my highlights.
"Ok", Jordan says as we walked to the outskirts to the pub.
He hadn't said anything while Tom and Tucker talked over the plan, but he didn't want me to go through with it. "Easy idea, get the keys to the Dianite pub office. Get the keys to the Modsteps betting locker, and get there plans. Then it's strait out".
I nodded my head yes. I wasn't really paying attention though.
"Strait out", he said it with emphasises.
"Ok", I whined turning my watch on and hiding it in my hair.

We gave each other a little high five and I headed into the building.
I was not ready.
The room had a big glass chandler in the middle of it. Marble floors and buffet tables at each side. There was a bunch of regal women in flowing black and red dresses and men in suits and tuxes. There was no tables, just the two buffet tables. The room was huge but it wasn't hard to tell a indifference over the white. I am really surprised they used white. They really are strange Dianities.
I started heading towards the hallway. It was the only thing that wasn't drenched in white. Just dark with one yellow swinging light.
I got to the front of the hallway.
A man in came in front of me. He was 4 times the size of me. Tall and skinny with sheer white hair and a great complexion. His eyebrows had a strange arch to them. He was definitely a dianite.
"Hello dwarve", his voice was deep and terrifying. I guess my disguise was working.
I firmly planted my feet on the glowing marble floor. "Hello". I tried to keep my normally annoying high pitch voice deep.
"What are doing, toying around by the offices". His voice got extremely smoother, like butter. Disgusting, spoiled butter. He was grossing me out.
"I needed more meals, your kind is really hungry". I crossed my arms trying to make me seem older than I was.
"Well that would be at the buffet tables". He had a huge smirk on his face. My arms fell down. He eyed me down and I got more nervous. Maybe if he knew I was actually eight. "Let me walk you there". He held out his hand.
I nodded my head no.
He looked at me like a teacher looks at a kid who just said a bad word. "What?"
I nodded my head no again. Closing my eyes hoping it would all go away. I just need to get into the office and I can go out the window. It was so easy.
He eyed me down again, but this time with a scowl on his face. "Fine". He whipped around and walked off. Pris.
I got into the office with the keys they give to the staff. I looked around and found the Modsteps locker box. Where were all the keys. The owner is permitted to have a spare. I went through the brown desk cabinet. There was a bunch of papers and old documents and-.
-The picture of the lightning strike. The purple one. It was black and white. There was no colored cameras in Mianite.
I picked it up. How did they get it. I looked on the back. The words 'hiding the heart' was written in black ink. What does it mean. I put the picture in my dress and went to open the other cabinet. Bingo. I unlocked there cabinet and went their the files.
It had big words in it that I couldn't read at the time so I didn't snoop. I grabbed the chair behind the desk and propped it up against the wall, and used it to climb out the window. Mission accomplished. And I still had the picture.

Heavenly Flame
Every prince born in the Tian Dynasty goes through a ritual to recover memories from their previous lives. With these memories, they receive amazing cultivation techniques and martial skills that make them stand above all other men and able to rule the world from the Heavenly Court. When Tian Yan wakes up from the ritual, he realizes something is wrong and he does not seem to possess any of the advantages he was expecting. Will he be able to compete in the backstabbing, scheming, and politicking that is required to succeed his father and inherit the Imperial throne? Or even survive? After all, they stand above all other men and that means the biggest threat to a prince is the other princes. Heavenly Flame is a Xianxia story with a heavy focus on drama, relationships, and romance. It will have a lot of recognizable things from the genre but I will also try to subvert elements that I do not like about it. Scheduled chapters will be released Tuesdays at 11:00 CET and Thursdays at 19:00 CET. I might still release additional chapters depending on my other workload but these will be marked as such.
