《Marooned With You》Survival guide

"There is another plane crash here?" You muttered.
From the looks of it, the crash seems recent... you reckon that it happened just a few years ago. No trace of the pilots or passengers are found, maybe they're lucky enough to be rescued.
You sighed and pouted. You wish you had their luck.
But if you truly knew their fates, you would be glad that you're with Mayanka now.
Mayanka browsed around as if he's shopping in a supermarket. Instead of a shopping cart, he uses his basket to collect the items he wanted to bring home.
"(Y/n)."
"Yeah?" You scurried towards him.
Mayanka handed you a novel book, it's thick and in decent condition despite being slightly muddy and dusty.
Your eyes gleamed at the front cover.
"How to survive in the wild for dumbasses... Damn, just what I need." You took it from Mayanka and gave him a wholehearted thank you.
The male does not know how to read English. So he assumed that you're grateful to have something to entertain yourself with. If Mayanka knew it was a survival guide, he would have used it as fire fodder.
To him, you don't need to know how to survive on your own. You have him to tell you what to do, you have him to provide for you, you have him to protect and shelter you.
You immediately flipped it open and sat down on a ripped seat, you paid no mind to the sponge spilling out of the fabric.
Mayanka had a small content smile seeing you occupied and not restless for once. He turned around and continued searching the overhead compartments for something he could use.
Hmm, he should find you some clothes. Your existing ones are showing wear and tear already, there is bound to be some decent clothing for you here.
Looks like he's out of luck in the flight cabin. He's going to check the luggage compartment.
"Damn, didn't know starting a fire is this hard—" you jolted up from your seat when you heard an alarmingly loud slam. Whatever hit the plane wreck was enough to make it shake.

You stepped out to see Mayanka doing what you thought was impossible.
Your jaw dropped seeing him ripping rusty metal apart with his bare, muscular hands, trying to get to the luggage compartment.
He successfully tore the metal away from it's steel hinges. You can't imagine the amount of force needed to do that. The door is more than twice his size!
Mayanka hurled it to the ground.
CRASH!
He panted and wiped the sweat off his brow. The man trained his eyes on you as you trained your eyes on the broken door.
Mayanka turned around only to have his mood soured at the sight of a locked, metal cage. His blood boiled upon knowing that another layer of annoyance exists.
He lets out an enraged shout as he constricted his fingers around the rusty lockpad, in one sudden and swift pull, the shackle shattered into numerous pieces.
Mayanka grunted in displeasure upon seeing the cuts on his hands. They're bleeding profusely.
The golden eyed man shook it off before calmly sauntering into the compartment.
You would have found the display sexy if it wasn't for his initial abuse. Now it's just plain scary. You know what he's capable of, Mayanka could kill you anytime and you can't stop him.
—
Mayanka came back out with a luggage bag and a hand wrapped in pieces of blood soaked cloth.
"Oh damn, is he expecting me to carry that all the way home?" You muttered under your breath, gripping the survival guide tightly.
"(Y/n)." He called you as he held your hand. You cringed at the damp feeling of his blood touching your skin.
Mayanka closed the metal gate and placed a twig in the lockholes, to give the remaining luggages some protection. He's planning to bring them home one by one, but he can't do it all in one go.
He's planning to build a small shed to keep the luggages dry and safe. Now all he needs is another small door hinge—
"Ow!" The muscular man did not see where he was going, he bumped into you by accident. Which... in turn, made you drop your much needed survival guide by accident.

It tumbled down a steep slope then into a fast flowing river. Before you could even react further, the book was already swept away, out of your sight.
"No!" You yelled, you stretched your arm out as a pathetic attempt to grab it.
Mayanka held you by the arms, ensuring that you won't fall from the edge.
"Why did you do that!?" You screamed. Tears began to spill from your eyes.
Mayanka only stared at you with almost cold eyes. There was a pinch of remorse and guilt in those stunning golden orbs.
"Why did you push me!?" You hit him on the chest with your fists, despite using your full strength, it felt like you're 'tapping' Mayanka. That is how weak you are compared to the man.
He stood there, allowing you to release all your pent up anger on him. It's not like your hits are hurting him anyways.
Eventually you ran out of energy, so you resorted to bawling and crying your eyes out.
He sighed.
Mayanka used the luggage as a chair as he waited for you to calm down from your temper tantrum.
—
It took you... a while.
Mayanka yawned and rubbed his eyes, relieved that you're finally calm enough to sit down and sob quietly in your hands.
The sun is setting and the jungle is getting darker.
He had to endure your yelling, your feet stomping, your chest hitting again, your feeble attempts at injuring him, your crying... it somewhat exhausted him. But it was the least he could do after making you lose something that helped you regain some sanity.
He stood up and offered a hand up for you to take.
You glared at it and turned away.
He sighed and knelt down to your level.
"What do you want...?" You asked between whimpers.
"Sorry." He mumbled. Mayanka then brushed your hair away to give a soft, sincere kiss on your forehead.
You have never felt the urge this strong to kill another human being in your life. Sorry? Does he really think a one-word apology and a forehead kiss, from himself, your rapist, would fix anything? Does he even know what that word means?
You wanted to bite the hand that's caressing your face right now. However, you could predict that you'll be raped again after doing so.
Mayanka showed you one of his rarest, tired smiles. He is content that whatever he did calmed you down enough to walk home with him.
Mayanka helped your sniffling form back up on your shoes.
The long haired male intertwined his bandaged fingers together with yours.
The both of you migrated back in silence, no trashtalking whatsoever.
You and Mayanka found comfort in the quietness, but through different ways.

A/n: New story new style, thanks for reading the first six chapters of Marooned With You!
Heads up, Marooned With You will be one of those 'serious' yandere x readers, so less of that Microwaveness silliness and more adult horror.
Ill try not to make it too cringey esp this is kinda my first time trying out this path + Mayanka (MWY ver.) will be different from the rest of my yanderes because ill try not to write about his thoughts. (but i already did in most parts oh well)
Please tell me what ya think , tho I know there are some who prefered the good ol' funnee funnee lighthearted microwaveness yandere n thats ok!! Im just testing the waters here with this style— Thank u sm for reading my stuff and any feedback is appreciated, negative or positive ones are all welcomed!!❤️
REMEMBER, I DO NOT CONDONE ANY OF MAYANKA'S ACTS AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU. THESE SHOULD STAY FICTIONAL AND SHOULD NEVER BE DESIRED IRL
