《Marooned With You》Discovery

I wrote this while listening to the song above, thought that it might be interesting to share and let you listen while reading
"You eat or I will 'eat' for you."
You whimpered as you brought the odd looking meat against your lips. You knew what he meant by 'eating' for you, he is going to force feed like how he did with the salak fruits.
It's like an endless train of food. No vegetables, no grains, no dairy, no drinks, just... MEAT.
You're on your eleventh bowl of mystery meat. Yes, it was delicious for the first two. Mayanka is a great chef, he knows the best consistency, the best balance of flavouring and the best way to cook it. But after the third, you started sobbing in pain.
It's getting increasingly difficult to force it down your throat. Your jaw hurts and your eyes burn, you felt like you're drowning but there is no water. You're thirsty yet saturated.
It made you wonder if you're suffering from a heart attack or a stroke.
You hated it. You hated it when his traps caught something, you and him would spend HOURS eating.
You can't count how many bowls of meat he has eaten. But you do know that it's much more than yours and he's still hungry for more.
You let out a loud cry as a spoon filled with what you assume is pork lard passes through your lips.
Maybe if you eat enough, you get to die from artery blockage so you won't need to face Mayanka ever again.
The thought gave you a bit more motivation to finish your fifteenth bowl.
"What kind of wild boar is this!? Why is it so much!?" You forced yourself to swallow it.
"NO!" You yelled when Mayanka began to scoop up more meat from the main tray and dumping it into your eating bowl.
Mayanka saw the twitching on your hand, indicating that you may consciously or subconsciously throw it at him. Before any of your muscles can act, the tip of his machete poked the middle of your throat. The place where you would have your adam's apple if you were born a male.
"No waste food." He scolded.
"Please! I am full! I-I can't eat anymore!" What a pathetic sight, your face is full of grease, sweat, tears and mucus from your nose. It's red and slightly swollen from all the anguished crying.
"Please Mayanka, I'm begging you. I can't— I can't eat anymore!" You coughed, choking on your own spit. This implanted a sense of doom into you because there is a chance that you will vomit due to overeating.
"Prove it." He narrowed his eyes.
"W-what...?" You sniffled.
"Prove you are full." He added.
"What— I am full! Me telling you that I am is proof enough! I cannot eat anymore!" You whimpered.
"Show me your stomach." You trembled in fear as you hesitantly lift your shirt up to reveal a buldging belly. As if you're a few months pregnant.

"P-please. I am really full. I promise I'm not lying. I'm really small compared to you! I don't need to eat that much!" You pleaded as he stared at your expanded belly.
He cocked his head to the side as he chewed on his meal. Mayanka hummed for a while before-
"Two more bowls then you are full."
"Two!? I am full now!" You whined.
"Three bowls, now." He scowled and pushed the tip of the blade deeper into your skin. You took it as a sign that he does not want to negotiate.
It's better than eating everything. You quietly picked up the utensils and began eating.
Mayanka sighed and shook his head. Yeah, maybe you are actually full. You're much, much smaller than him anyways, but he still thinks that you're missing out on a lot.
He didn't take into account that your (your height) and (your weight) body didn't need as much food as his At least he does, now.
Somewhat.
Oh well. More for him then.
Mayanka may not show it, but your crying and sobbing wrenches his heart. However, he knew better than to give in as he's doing everything 'for your own good'. You seem to be starving yourself all the time and spending so much energy playing outside. That isn't good for you.
It's sweet that you (sometimes) 'cared' about him. You would rather not eat so that 'he could have more' (a tactic you tried to stop Mayanka from feeding you). It does make his stomach flutter a bit, but in the end, your 'health' is his first priority. His comes second.
Sometimes your considerate behavior annoys him. Mayanka would have to pull out his machete to convince that he is fine with his portion. It does hurt him that he needs to punish you for being 'loving', but it needs to be done (The tactic failed.).
Mayanka just does not want you to starve because he loves you. He does not want anyone he loves to suffer the immense hunger he had back then.
He is familiar with the concept of hunger, but apparently does not believe overeating exists.
His dysfunctional family ruined everything. Mayanka would have grown into a fine, young gentleman, maybe at a normal height of six feet instead of eight feet if it wasn't for his parents and Meyanna.
You wonder how tall Meyanna is.
"GAH! I'm— DONE!" You slammed the empty bowl on the table.
"Good. You can eat more." Mayanka mumbled, his eyes never leaving his own bowl.
"No! I don't want anymore, I can't eat, please!"
"Then go sleep." Mayanka picked up your bowl and moved it away from you.
"I can't sleep..." you're too bloated to.
"Then eat." He pushed the bowl back to you.
"N-no! I-um... I want to talk!" You're curious about Meyanna.
Mayanka let out a defeated grunt before taking away your bowl for good.
He gave you an upward nod to tell you that it's okay for you to ask.

"H-How tall was Meyanna?" You rubbed your belly.
"You."
"Me, what?"
"Tall like you." Your eyes widened. That is... considerably small, how Mayanka grow up to this size? Is it because of his diet? But he was starved as a child! He shouldn't grow past five feet in the first place!
"Oh wow."
"Yes. I was very tall...big. Everyone call me fat, so they don't feed me. But I was only bones, no fat. I was very... hungry." The memory prompted him to increase his eating pace, stuffing more food into his own mouth.
"Not fair. They give Meyanna a lot of food. Me nothing. It feels so painful every time." Mayanka rubbed his abdomen, you saw that he's getting teary eyed over his memories.
"Ada, Ama and Meyanna don't like me. That is why they make me hungry. I like you, very much. So I don't want you hungry, I only want you full." He ruffled your hair with a free hand. Mayanka picked up a piece of meat from his bowl and offered to feed you.
"No, thanks." He pouted and placed it into his mouth instead.
You decided to leave it at that.
Meanwhile...
"Who the HELL stole our helicopter propeller!?" Hal's voice became hoarse from screaming.
The metal was stretched until the tension was too much for it to handle, it broke. Whoever or whatever destroyed the main part of the helicopter has the strength of a hydraulic press.
What or who possessed the strength to do that?
"...the communications are dead too. It looks like it's been ripped away." Tam inspected the broken wires, the entire radio section is missing. The only indication that it existed was a dusting of metal derbis and display of frayed wires out of it's insulating cover.
"Whoever stole our propeller, stole our satellite phone too." Miss G rummaged through the items inside the helicopter.
"Our spare satellite phone is with Mo and we don't know where he is right now. How are we gonna get back!?" Hal panicked.
"I know this is bad, but... they will send in rescue teams if we don't check in for forty eight hours. So we can just... wait it out!" Miss G tried to be optimistic.
"I am literally suffering from back pain. Sleeping on the ground again is the last thing I need. I'm sick of eating beef jerky too, I need some real, restaurant food." Hal's face became gloomy.
"O-oh come on, Hal! We can survive a night, camping out in the wild, what is forty eight hours out here? It's gonna be a piece of cake!" Tam tried to cheer him up.
"Except the cake is huge since we have a murderer on our trail—"
"Oh, will you drop the murderer thing? I don't think that man we encountered earlier is gonna kill us, I mean... he even told us to go away! Why would he trouble himself like that? Wouldn't he want us to stay instead so he could kill us later?" Miss G tried reasoning.
"He's a little scary. But I'm sure he means no harm IF we leave him alone." Tam continued Miss G's argument.
"But what about Mo!?"
The women froze.
"I-I'm sure he's somewhere, goofing around... haha.." Tam nervously bit on her thumb. But she is worried about him too, Tam is just trying not to make anyone panic.
"We need to find the kid, he can't even tie his own shoes, what makes you think he can stitch himself up!? What if he's infected!? What if he's dying from blood loss and he can't reach his satellite phone!?"
"Um... I'm—" Tam muttered incoherent words to herself.
"Hal, why is it everything that comes out of your mouth panic inducing—"
"Because it IS panic inducing! HOW can you stay calm and act like nothing happened when we stumbled across a field of blood and a lack of Mo!? We HAVE to PANIC! We have to act fast! There is something out there that GOT Mo! We could be next if we don't move NOW!"
"No, we don't need to panic or rush! We can't think right if we do!"
"Yeah right, as if you're thinking pretty well when you're NOT panicking or rushing." Hal sarcastically remarked, making Miss G's blood boil.
"Why you—"
"SHUT UP! PLEASE, SHUT UP!" Tam screamed as loud as she could. She pressed her palms against her ears and let tears drop down her eyelashes.
"STOP! THIS IS REALLY BAD! STOP MAKING ME PANIC! STOP OVEREXAGGERATING THIS!" She threw a heated fit as she continued screaming.
Hal and Miss G winced at the sheer volume of it. The birds nearby flew away due to shock and disturbance. Tam's voice echoed and resonated throughout the jungle.
Back at the coast,
"Huh!?" You whipped your head up once you heard a faint yell, coming from miles and miles away.
You turned to Mayanka to see that he stopped masturbating, midstroke.
His eyes were wide and he's lightly sweating, that means you didn't hallucinate it. Mayanka heard the scream too.
"Was that—"
"Sleep."
"But—"
"Or I will force sex you." That send a shockwave down your spine. He already has his erect member in his hand, he can easily rape you right there, right then.
You cower in fear, squeezing your eyes shut and wrapping the blanket around you tightly.
Mayanka's right eye twitched in irritation. They just HAD to make themselves known to you.
He's not oblivious to the consequences of letting you know there are other humans out there that you can interract. Then, you wouldn't want to be with him anymore, you wouldn't rely on him for survival.
You will become independent from him and he hates that.
Mayanka also hates that you wouldn't see those three researchers as livestock. You would see them as friends and try to find them.
Looks like the both of you will be eating dehydrated, preserved human flesh and human organ stew for the rest of the month.

Dungeon Core? Nah, I Think I'll Just Get Super-Wealthy Instead
The cycle is simple enough. A Dungeon Core is born from a wayward soul. It seeks power and agency, and works to accumulate wealth to fuel its power, in turn using this power to accumulate further wealth. Inevitably, the mind is lost as desperation and ambition drive it to commit darker and darker acts. Shortly thereafter, the adventurers arrive to quell the core. This is a tale that has repeated itself countless times throughout history: all cores desire power. And yet, this core seems to have it backwards. It doesn't want to rule the world. It has no desire to enslave or conquer. No, this core doesn't want to be a warlord, a villain, or a tyrant. It wants to start a core-poration. After all, when money is power, what greater weapon is there than capitalism? Join a dungeon core that wastes an absurd amount of time and effort trying not to be evil on his journey to earn fat stacks against all odds. -This is a 'Dungeon Core' type fiction with LitRPG elements in it. The start may be fairly slow compared to the average. Expect roughly 2.5k per chapter. -I'm only a hobbyist writer. As such, there may be the occasional error and pacing may be poorly-handled. Constructive criticism is alway welcome. I'm just here to write stuff that makes my brain release the g o o d c h e m i c a l s. -I am trashy and I like monsterpeople so you can expect an awful lot of those as we get further in. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope you enjoy.
