《Mermaid Origins》Uh Oh....Hi?

I watched as the waves got higher and stronger as the storm started to rage. I had an idea and it would be good practice. I concentrated on the water around me. I took a beep breath, closed my eyes, and breath out. I focused on calming thoughts. I felt a tingling sensation though out my body. I then told a deep breath again. As I breathed out, I felt the tingling sensation fade away.
When I opened my eyes to find that I made a invisible barrier around the ship. The water around the ship was calm, while the water outside of the barrier was raging wildly. I smiled happily before I fell to the sea floor. I was already tired from the traveling but now I was exhausted. Magic takes a lot out of me. I was trained to use it to control the sea when I become king. I can use it but I can't control the full sea yet. I only can do small parts at a time.
I must have passed out, because I woke up to a splash. I opened my eyes up and glanced up lazily. My eyes widen in fear as I saw two sharks circling a human and three trying to tip the ship. I got up and swam to the two who were circling. One was about to attack the guy, who was frantically trying to find a way out of the circle. So I dashed in the path of the shark, making him bite my tail.
I cried out in pain, as the sharks eyes widen in shock and panic. The others sharks heard my cry and came over to see what happened. The shark quickly let go of me. I looked down to find a small chunk of flesh missing from the middle of my tail. "Pr-Prince Brandon?" One of the other ones asked.
"I-I'm so sorry! I was going for the human, then you came out of nowhere. Please don't hurt me." The shark that bit me whimpered. "I'm fine," I lied. "But how did you know my name?" I was in a lot of pain but I learned to ignore it.

"The king sent out a message though the ocean. Almost the ocean knows you're missing and is looking for you." Another shark added. Great, I thought. I'm being hunted by the whole ocean. "Thank you for telling me this. Now, why were you attacking these humans?" I asked sternly.
Most of them looked down, or away till one spoke up. "We thought that they would make a good meal..." She flinched at my harms gaze. "You know it's against the law to be tipping ships," They all looked ashamed. "But since I don't want to go back home, I will let you go, just this once." They all looked shocked and happy. "But you can't tell anyone that I was here, deal?" They nodded hesitantly.
"What about your tail?" A smaller shark asked worriedly. It was bleeding heavily and I was having a hard time swimming. "I will take care of it later, but I don't want to catch you doing this again, understand?" They nodded. "Good. Now, off you go." I made a shooting motion towards them. They all hurried off, but I kept seeing the smaller one looking back. I waved to show her that I was fine.
I kept waving until they were out of site. I grit my teeth as I tried to swim to some seaweed to rap the wound up in. Mermaids heal fast but I need to stop the bleeding first. I started to feel lightheaded from the blood loss and moving is only make it lose more blood. I snatched some and started to rapped it, but I also felt something rap around the end of my tail.
I just finished rapping it up, when I was yanked upwards. I was still dizzy and tired, but I still looked up to see what had my tail. I gasped fear. A net was rapped tightly around my tail fin. I start to try to swim away and make little progress, before the pull is stronger then me. I pant in pain and exhaustion. The blood loss is really effecting me, I think. How long was I out, and where did the human go?

I look around and see blood floating around me. It's my blood I realized as I was pulled farther to the surface. I struggle more but I just felt so weak. I looked up to my make shift bandage, to find it already soaked with blood and was leaking. I growled in annoyance.
My mood changed to fear when I fell air around my tail fin, instead of water. I was being pulled out of the water! I crawled at the water, desperately trying somehow pull myself down. I was hoisted farther upward, pulling my whole tail out of the water. I started to whimper as my chest was pulled out. In a last ditch effort, I screamed, "Ritchie!" before I was completely pulled out of the water.
I was hanging a few inches above the water, when I heard someone yell, "Woah! Lucas was actually telling the truth!" I winced in pain from how loud it was to me. I had sensitive hearing, loud noises make my head hurt. "See I told you! I knew I saw something block the shark." I was pulled up farther so my head was level with the deck.
The human that I saved was looking at me with curiosity in his ocean blue eyes. I stared into them for a moment before I was yanked and put roughly on the deck. I couldn't move, as I felt blood running down my tail. More humans appear around me for various parts of the ship. I felt super uncomfortable with everyone staring at me.
A short human with black hair with a purple streak in it said, "Of course, Lucas was right. I meet one once. How many time did I tell you?" A guy with just boxers on replied, "I always thought you were crazy." Some of the people were watching the the two bicker. I was also watching them until unbearable pain shot though me.
I didn't mean to, but I let a small whimper pass my lips. I shrunk back as everyone turned to me. The ocean eyed boy knelt next to me and looked at the seaweed. "What's this?" He gently removed the seaweed that was stopping the bleeding from my wound. He gasped in horror as he saw the wound. "Bryan! Go get some bandages." A brown eyed and brown haired boy nodded and ran off somewhere.
The black haired guy came up to us and looked at my wound. "He must have took the bite for you, Lucas." The boy, who's name is Lucas, started to brush a hand though my hair. I cringed at the touch at first but soon enjoyed it. "Why would he do that, cap?" He asked as he played with my hair. I was beginning to feel really tied, but I tried to stay awake.
The captain noticed my battle with sleep. He could tell I was losing, so he did something that confused me. He ripped apart of his shirt and rapped the wound. "There. That should hold until Bryan get back with the bandages." He nodded happily at his handy work. He turn towards me, my eyes nearly closed. "Now you can sleep." I looked at him wary, but sleep over took me.
