I sat down for dinner with Zach, Dillon, and mom. Dad was still getting ready. I looked at mom and shook my head. Mom's phone vibrated. She picked it up and quickly set it down. "Smells good!" Dad said as he picked up moms phone. After what it looked like he sent a message, I grabbed her phone from his hand and gave it to mom. He sat down and glared at me. I glared right back. "Pass the mashed potatoes." he said not taking his eyes off me. Mom passed the mashed potatoes onto Zach as he passed it to dad. "Thank you son." he mumbled. I plopped some mashed potatoes in my mouth and turned my view over to Dillon. He looked back at me. I touched his shoulder as a sign of "we will be just fine". "You haven't touched your food?" Dad told Dillon. "I'm not very hungry.." Dillon replied softly. "Come on buddy. I have a big day planned for us tomorrow! You're gonna need all that energy." he replied. Dillon just looked at him. "EAT!" dad yelled as he slammed his hands on the table. He picked up a hand-full of mashed potatoes and mashed his hand on Dillon's mouth trying to force feed him. "CLINT! STOP IT! NOW!" mom screamed. Dillon wiped away some mashed potatoes as dad sat back down. I saw dad pick up a napkin and set his hand on Dillon's face to clean off the potatoes. I quickly grabbed his arm firmly and smashed it down on the table. "Don't. Touch." I said as he sat back down again. Dad sighed and said, "You boys have to eat." "I'm sorry, okay?" he added. I glared at him and grabbed Dillon by the arm and led him to the bathroom. I helped him clean off his face. "Go up to bed. I expect to have a scary day tomorrow, so be prepared for anything. Even tonight." I said softly. He nodded and went upstairs. I sat back down on the table. "Where'd he go?" Dad asked me. "None of your concern. I'm off to bed." I got up and went upstairs to Dillons room. I lay down on my old bed that looked untouched since I've last seen it. I took off my glasses and set them down on the window sill. Right as I closed my eyes, I drifted off to sleep.
The next morning I saw that Dillon was already up and outside. I saw my mom too, and dad. But I didn't see Zach. I couldn't help it. I finally broke. I started crying and I couldn't stop. I didn't want to die. Especially if it was my brother trying to kill me. I cried for a good 10 minutes. I rubbed my eyes and got dressed. I but on black leggings and a gray sweater that read "New York". I put on white socks and white shoes and ran outside. I looked at my surroundings, specifically looking for Zachary. I didn't see him so I walked over to my family. "Morning." I mumbled. They all nodded at me. I sat down next to Dillon as he rested his head on my shoulder. Then I saw Zach come over with a tray of lemonade. "Thank you sweetheart." Mom said as she took a small glass from the tray. We all took a glass, except for Zach. Mom sipped some and said, "Mm this is really good." When she lifted her cup to take another sip I butted in and said, "So, mom. Are you planning on getting a job? I saw a restaurant downtown that's looking for a chef. Your really good at cooking so it'd be wonderful for you." Zach glared at me because he knew what I was doing. I knew he drugged the drinks. I saw dad drink some but I didn't really care. It's not like he'd care if I died one way or another.

Zach walked away from us and into the cornfield. It was suspicious beyond many levels. That's when I came up to the conclusion. He was recording a tape. I saw that Dillon noticed this too. He picked up moms phone and texted the deputy saying, "Help us". He quickly set down her phone and set aside his drink. I set aside mine too and stared into the corn. I then saw the ghost kids standing with Zachary. I knew it. He was recording. He quickly stopped recording when he saw that I noticed him. I saw that Milo whispered something to him. He smirked and put his finger to his lips. I saw the ghost kids disappear, and next thing I knew my vision went black.

I woke up, and my head throbbed. I tried to reach out my hand to rub it, but my arm was pinned to something. I felt blood stream down my face. "Dillon? DILLON?" I yelled. I heard him sob when I said that and I sighed of relife. Then my parents woke up. I heard them scream when someone cut a rope. "I'm gonna make the best one yet!" a familiar voice said. It was Zach. Then I heard fire rise up from something. I heard my dad scream. Oh god. He was getting killed wasn't he? I heard a car swoop in the scene. A man came out and cut me loose. When I fell down I gasped for air. I was on my knees and I looked up to see the deputy. "Oh god oh god oh god." I repeated as I started to cry again. I saw my mom pick me up and hold me tightly. "Why is this happening." Zach stood up and cracked his neck. Milo appeared next to Zach and said, "You better finish this." Mom set me down as Zach held up a sickle. "ZACH!" my mom screamed. He started chasing us. We ran into the field. We ran left, right, left right, trying to find the house. We ran into Zach. He slashed the deputy's hand. He screamed and fell to the ground. I tackled Zach, making him fall over. His sickle got caught in one of the corn stalks. I punched his nose. His nose bled and I helped he deputy up. "We have to go.." I said. I grabbed his other hand and ran over to the house.
When we went in, we headed towards the kitchen. My mom soaked a rag in cold water. She tightly wrapped it around the deputy's finger. "Oh god!" he screamed. We heard a window break. We all went silent. "Go..GO!" I screamed pointing upstairs. They ran upstairs. I quickly rummaged through the kitchen drawers. I heard footsteps and quickly hid myself. I saw Milo appear behind Zach and say, "They're here somewhere, Zach. It's time to find them, and finish the job." I knew they'd find me if I didn't go upstairs now. "Come out, come out wherever you are." Milo smirked. saw some scissors and I reached over for them. I picked them up and broke off one of the blades. I ran over to Zach and jabbed his left arm that was holding the camera. I quickly ran upstairs and found the deputy. We went behind the desk and hid ourselves. We heard Zach running upstairs. But I only heard the ghost kids as well. The deputy picked up a weight and nodded at me. I nodded back at him. "In here!" Milo said. I looked at the deputy. "They can only see me. If they find me, they'll get both of us." I told him. "They?" He asked. I stood up. Milo eyed me. He walked over to me and pinned me to the wall. "If you don't tell us where they are, we'll kill you first." he told me. "Well okay, thanks for the neck kiss anyways. I enjoyed it a lot." I replied as I kicked his left knee. He fell over. I ran out of the room, leaving the deputy. I quickly went into the bathroom and hid with Dillon and mom. "He's okay." I told them. They both sighed.

We heard things breaking and crashing. I hope he really was okay. Then we heard him scream. I ran out of the bathroom, and quickly glanced into the room. He was okay. Then Milo noticed me. I ran back to mom and Dillon. We tried to escape but all the doors closed. So we just hid downstairs. Then we heard footsteps. It was Zach. I stood up and said, "Zach, you don't have to do this. Just because you watched some dumb clips of families being brutally murdered doesn't make you special." He didn't stop. Then the deputy ran downstairs and broke his camera. I smiled at him. "It's over Zach. Y-your not making them a film." Zach fell to the ground and said, "No..no no no! NO, NO!" He ran downstairs into the basement. I followed him. The deputy yelled at me and told me not to go. I still went. When I got down there I heard him say, "Please be another camera.." But there wasn't. I quickly walked over to him but stopped in my tracks when the ghost kids appeared in front of him. "He's gonna be mad!" one of them said. "Gonna be so mad.." said another. "It's over. We can never come back!" Milo yelled. "No..I'm not finished!" Zach replied. "It's too late. You had to kill them all!" Milo scoffed. "Milo.." I mumbled. Then I saw the kids walk back. Then that demon thing appeared behind Zach. It touched Zachs shoulder. "Hey! You get off of-" I got cut off by Zach's skin turning dark gray. His skin began to crumble until all that was left were bones. "Zach..?" I mumbled and I saw Milo walk over to me. I took a step back. He smiled at me. He put his hand on my left cheek. "It's over. You've freed us." I quickly saw that his body was vanishing. "Milo?" I cried. He was gone. I screamed and cried. I just watched my brother and my love die right in front of my eyes. I was helpless. But I knew I had to get out of there when the house started catching on fire. I ran upstairs to meet my family and the deputy.
We ran outside and just stared at the house. I fell to my knees and cried uncontrollably. Of course I did? I just lost my brother, and the guy that I honestly liked a lot. "Zach! Milo.. They're gone!" I screamed painfully into the air. The deputy picked me up from the ground. "He's gone. There is nothing we can do. We have to go now." After a few minutes of crying and staring at our house that was now ashes, we walked to the deputy's car. I climbed into the back seat and stared out my window. My eyes were clouded with tears. My heart broke at the thought of losing Milo. And my brother. They both meant the world to me. I laid my head on Dillon's legs. "It'll be okay." he told me. "It won't be okay. I saw.." I started mumbling. "I saw them both go. I loved him. And Zach.." I saw Dillon look at me with grief. "Let me just.. sleep."
I woke up from a long sleep. My eyes were puffy and they itched. I saw the deputy get out of his car and into an old building. We waited for him to step back out. Then we heard a blood curdling scream. It was the deputy. It just told us that this will never be over. That thing is still out there and won't stop until it gets what it wants. We just angered it more by making him lose half of his children. I promised myself, that if it tries to kill my family again, I will be prepared. We will be prepared.

Those Zombies Again
One day Sam wakes up in a world full of zombies and tries to survive.PSFirst of all i would not recommend this novel if you haven't read like hundred of novels already. Its pretty weird and depressing novel. This story is told almost completely from MC point of view. Third person.MC is a pretty ugly random guy with different psychological problems. He is antisocial and limited person.Lore - Since MC is limited and barely interested in people or just surroundings, you will get pretty limited descriptions on stuff, it was meant to be like that.Characters - Obviously for the same reason, you will not see much characters, usually you wont get their description or even names.Fights - I personally hate those fights in novels which take like few chapters to describe some shitty encounters. For example MC is making his "move" and then you get half chapter of description of his thoughts and the ways his face is looking, and the way like his opponent surprised and the way crowd is reacting and so on. I really hate all that shit so fights in this novel will be described not that often, only if an equal or a new opponent, and only in a strict and straightforward way, no bullshit. Now this novel is not exactly fantasy, its more like grim realistic-fantasy.But i will have to explain what i mean. Lets take rape in most novels as an example. Usually MC will be justified to rape a girl one way or another. Common example is aphrodisiac. Or the girl were trying to kill him so he had to "punish" her. Or she just happened to jump on his thing and then after rape she become his girlfriend etc, Those are examples of "fan service" in novel. So MC would be justified and readers woun't feel too uncomfortable to read something like that.So there is no "fan service" in this novel, like at all. You will have to read some stuff that will make you feel uncomfortable and you woun't like it.Common sense also means that there is barely gonna be any "random" events which MC is gonna be part of. No treasures and superpowers he founds because he is "special". He will not meet antagonists on his way. This novels world will not spin around MC in any way. He will usually sit in his deep cave and no one around will give a damn about him or even know of his existence. So this novel is not for you to have fun and enjoy reading. Not to make you feel comfortable, satisfied or happy. Its probably the opposite. There are some standards which novel usually sticks to in order to become popular. Obviously i did not meet those standards at all.
