A moment of silence followed our little exchange. It was obvious that everybody in the hall were interested in Zeus' and mine bickering.

'Okay, Era, you may begin' Athena said and I inhaled to calm myself. After a couple of seconds of me finding words, I spoke.

'Before I go into the evidence against Zeus, I want to explain how the final verdict will be found' quickly looking around for anyone opposing I continued 'After the whole hearing you, the main Gods of the Olympus, will vote. Those who think that Hera should be able to leave Zeus, will vote for her and those, who think Zeus did nothing to spoil the marriage, will vote for him. Hera and Zeus won't vote since their views to this matter are already obvious which leaves 10 of you.'

I knew that there could be only 9 votes, so I looked at the Gods to see who could pass the voting. Unfortunately, looking at the circumstances, it had to be Hades.

'Since there can't be an even number of votes I ask for Hades to withdraw from the voting' I said and looked at him. He still looked at me like I was his lunch which almost made me throw a phrase at him. A dirty one.

'Why him?' A woman with super long hair in light brown colour asked. By the tip of the bow visible from behind her small frame I recognized her as the Goddess of the wild - Artemis.

'C'mon, Artemis, the man had a nasty feud with Zeus and fucked Era countless times. He would definitely vote for Hera' Aphrodite said while rolling her eyes. I knew her because of very revealing clothes and deep red aura around her.

The truth that she said made me throw her howthefuckdoyouknowthat look but then my brains informed me her "area" in which she is worshiped.

'Can we not discuss my sex life please?' I asked feeling my cheeks slowly warming up.

'Why? Are you still sore from the night?' She smirked and leaned forward as if she was really interested in me. I was caught up in her playfulness and smirked back.

'You don't even know'

'Oh my, I always wondered your sex drive, Hades' Aphrodite chuckled looking at Hades who simply rose his eyebrows at her.

'But alas, you will not find that since I'm not interested in you' he dismissed her in cold voice and turned to me 'I'll withdraw from the vote.'

'Um.. okay, thank you, so...' I blurted out while trying to compose myself. Hades' cold voice towards the Goddess threw me off a little bit. I knew he didn't like this place but it seemed that he didn't like some of his fellow Gods as well.

'So, to begin with, I would like to ask Hera why she married Zeus' I began and looked at her. For a moment there was silence. I saw Hera beginning to shake as she let out a small strangled breath and thatcaused me frow. Something was wrong.

'He raped me...' she whispered and I barely caught her words. Another second of silence followed her words before hell broke loose. All Gods began shouting over others. Most of them were outraged but there were some who actually supported Zeus and that made me furious even more.

'Everybody calm down!' Athena screamed and the hall settled down but you could feel their emotions through heavy atmosphere.

While everybody quieted down I watched Zeus. For a moment I saw panic and something else cross his face but it soon turned into "I don't care about my actions" one.

Suddenly, a woman stood up. She wore clothes that covered her entirely and only her face was shown. Her stance and face radiated calm and motherly vibes. She looked at me and gave me a small smile.

'I'm sorry for interrupting you, Era. I also apologize for my language but..' she turned to Zeus and her motherly aura vanished. '... YOU PEACE OF COAL! HOW DARE YOU TAKE SOMETHING SO SACRED AS WOMAN'S PURITY AGAINST HER OWN WILL?!?! I'M SO DISGUSTED BY YOU! FROM THIS MOMENT ON, I, THE GODDESS OF THE HOUSE AND FAMILY, DEEM YOU INFERTILE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE AND ANY CHILD CONSUMED BY YOU WITH MAGIC OR OTHER MEANS, WILL BE BORN WITH BROKEN BONES AND ANIMAL PARTS!' The moment she finished, all torches illuminating the hall died out and the whole pantheon rumbled, sounding like a beast who was woken up from a very long sleep.

I felt myself go pale and my knees go weak from the sound and the Goddess. This woman, suddenly, had such strong presence in this hall that made me scared of her. Glancing around I saw how everybody were dead silent with their eyes wide. Even Hades had a disturbed face.

'Hestia, you can't curse....' Athena started but the Goddess of House sneered back.

'Don't order me what to do, Athena. I'm the oldest out of all of you, so I can damn sure do what I want.' She turned to the Zeus that tried to hide his scared face but failed miserably.

'You are a disgrace to our kind, just like many of whom think they can do whatever they like'

'May I add to your curse, Hestia?' Aphrodite stood up suddenly. She wasn't fuming as Hestia but her face still showed disgust.

Hestia only nod.

'I might be the Goddess of love and passion but I do not support forced sex. I only support passionate ones like Era and Hades' or heated one between two willing people. Zeus, for your actions against us, the Gods and Goddesses of family, it's creation and every action in between, I, Goddess of love and passion, curse you so that every intercourse you have will be as painful as burning alive in my son's Hephaestus' volcano' she said, her voice terrifyingly calm.

Just as she said her words, all torches exploded in flames and a groan escaped Zeus' mouth. He was sitting with his eyes closed and his whole posture hunched forward. Heavy breaths were leaving his lungs that were caused by an obvious pain.

'I vote for Hera' Hestia said and walked to Hera. She hugged the sobbing Goddess and began calming her down.

'I vote for Hera too' Aphrodite said and joined Hestia.

'Me too' Athena said and also joined the group.

'Me too' Artemis stood up and walked to the group, throwing a nasty look at Zeus.

Hera had 4 votes. One more and she will be free.

I looked around the remaining Gods and saw mixed feelings on their faces. Nobody dared to say anything so I spoke.

'With such.... unexpected truth surfing out... please state your vote. I don't think you need more evidence but I do have some for those unconvinced of Zeus' faul actions' I said and my attention was brought to Hera.

She was surrounded by Goddesses and I really wanted to hug her as well. I never was really into Greek mythology and knew only the basics but never in a thousand years would I believe that Zeus raped Hera. But then again, they were Gods that allowed themselves everything they wanted.

The whole hall was murmuring between themselves until a young man stood up from his throne. He looked really young and was almost identical to Artemis.

'Well, since I'm the God of many things and truth is one of them, I will vote for Hera. For those who do not support Hera simply look at me. I'm a great example of my father breaking the.... third rule of the marriage' The man said trying to remember the goals I listed and sat down when he was done.

I looked around and saw majority of attendees looking at me.

'Hera got 5 votes out of the 9 and she wins. Thank you for coming to this hearing and freeing Hera out of unhappy marriage' I said.

Not wanting to listen those who supported Zeus, or him in particular, I ran around the thrones and up the small steps until I reached Hera and the group.

'Will you let me join this club?' I asked and Goddesses before me turned to me. Before any of them could speak, Hera bolted out of the group.

'Eraaaa!' She sobbed and ran into my arms that opened themselves.

'You are free, Hera. You can forget the past' I spoke quietly, patting her back.

'Thank you. You can't even imagine how grateful I am' she sobbed to my shoulder and I chuckled.

'Thank my big mouth' I said and we both chuckled.

'Sorry to break your warm hugs but Hera needs cleansing with the help of us, females.' Hestia said and I broke apart from Hera.

'Are you saying that I'm not a female, ma'am?' I asked still spooked by her but she smiled at me warmly.

'I'm saying that someone is waiting for you.'

I turned around and saw Hades looking at us from his throne. I also noticed that everybody disappeared from the hall, Zeus included.

'Where is everybody?' I asked, surprised how quickly everything ended.

'They left to spread the news' Athena said and I "ohhh"ed.

'Good work, Era. If not for you, we would have never found out Zeus' ugly truth' Hestia said and hugged me.

'Now go please the man' Aphrodite said and instantly got pointed looks from other Goddesses.

'What? The man looks at her as if she is ambrosia ' The Goddess of Love said innocently and I chuckled.

'And here I thought I'm seeing things'

We smirked at each other knowingly and with a goodbye we all parted.
